ABOUT THE TOUR PROGRAM
• The listed prices are subject to a tiered pricing system applied as availability fills up.
• Your travel documents and airline tickets must be with you throughout the trip.
• Sufficient participation is required for the package tour to take place (generally, the minimum sufficient participation is designed as 20 and the maximum as 40 people, but it may vary depending on the date and tour). If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.
• Where deemed necessary, without prior notice and without disrupting the program content; the right is reserved to change the order of sightseeing in the tours/cities and the airline company.
• Having a valid passport and/or visa does not mean that entry into the country will be granted. The passport police have the authority to deny entry into the country; Quheilan Tour is not responsible for this situation, and full responsibility belongs to the passenger.
• Quheilan Tour acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. As there may be a risk of delay in scheduled and private flights, flight times may also change; Quheilan Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. ABOUT
ABOUT ACCOMMODATION
• The hotels specified in the program are in the “or similar” category, and the final hotel information is announced 48 hours before the tour departure.
• The star classification of hotels may vary according to the local conditions of the countries visited.
• During busy periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, or sports tournaments, hotels may be selected farther than the distances specified.
• Check-in is at the earliest 15:00 local time, and check-out is between 11:00 and 12:00.
• Bed type cannot be guaranteed and is blocked according to hotel availability. Triple rooms are provided depending on hotel availability and consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed; since extra beds are foldable or coach bed type, guests are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions and bed type for 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and falling within the age group specified in the pricing section.
• In group accommodations, breakfast may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group and at a time specially set for the group, usually as a continental breakfast (butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee) with a limited menu appropriate to the culture of the country.
ABOUT AIRLINE TICKETS
• Tickets are issued exactly in accordance with the name/surname, date of birth, Turkish ID number, and passport details in the passport; our agency is not responsible for incorrect information provided.
• You must be at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight time. Online check-in is completed by the guest 24 hours before the flight. Some airlines do not allow online check-in and seat selection on group tickets.
• Our agency is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or time/route/fare changes caused by the airline.
• Due to airlines' sequential ticket rule, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight may also be canceled.
NOTES ON GUIDING AND TOURS
• Panoramic city tours are tours conducted with guide narration from inside the vehicle for the general introduction of cities, do not include museum/ruin site entrances, and last at most 2-3 hours.
• Our agency is not responsible for tours not being carried out due to the closure of places to be visited by local authorities, road closures, or adverse weather conditions. Some tours may, due to closed roads or points where vehicle access is not permitted, be carried out by public transport or on foot insofar as possible.
• Optional / extra tours are organized by the local agency with the condition that at least 1/3 of the group participates, and participation is not mandatory. If the sufficient number is not met, the excursions may not take place, or the price, content, and vehicle to be used may vary according to the number of participants. The days and times of optional tours may change depending on whether the museums/ruins are open or closed and on weather conditions.
VISA AND PASSPORT
• Holders of ordinary (maroon) passports are subject to visa; holders of special (green) and service passports are exempt from visa. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and must not be older than 10 years. There must be blank pages in the passport for entry and exit stamps.
• In destinations requiring a visa, application must be made with the documents listed in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you.
• Torn, worn, wet, or similarly damaged passports must be renewed; if the destination country is one that applies a visa to Turkish citizens, the valid visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.
• When guests under 18 travel alone or with only one parent, a joint consent form may be requested at border crossings; we recommend paying attention to this matter.
HEALTH
• There is no vaccination requirement in the European countries visited.
• No health problems are expected in hotels and quality restaurants; however, outside group time, it is recommended that you drink bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume well-cooked meat/fish, and prefer fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapples.
CURRENCY
• Countries using the Euro (EUR): Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, and other Eurozone countries.
• Countries using their own currency: Switzerland (Swiss Franc / CHF), England (Sterling / GBP), Czechia (Czech Koruna / CZK), Hungary (Forint / HUF), Poland (Zloty / PLN), Denmark / Sweden / Norway (Krona). It is also useful to carry some Euros with you in countries outside the Eurozone.
TIME ZONE
• Most continental European countries (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Poland, etc.) are 1 hour behind Turkey during daylight saving time and 2 hours behind during winter time.
• England and Portugal are 2 hours behind Turkey in summer time and 3 hours behind in winter time.
• Greece is in the same time zone as Turkey.
ELECTRICITY AND PLUGS
• In Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, and most continental European countries, plug types are the same as in Turkey (Type C/F, 220-230V).
• In England, a different plug type (Type G, three flat pins) is used; you need to bring a plug adapter for this country.
PHONE USE
• Your mobile phone line can be used abroad if international use (roaming) is enabled.
SHOPPING
• There are opportunities to shop at shopping centers in city centers and from souvenir stalls. In EU countries, you can benefit from Tax Free (tax refund) on purchases above a certain amount.
CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS
• For the summer season: T-shirts and shirts that are easy to put on and take off, cotton pants, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and sweater for the evenings; also a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, and chargers are recommended.
• For the winter season: layered clothing that allows easy movement and keeps you warm, a coat, scarf, beanie, and waterproof shoes are recommended.
