İpsala - Thessaloniki
After our entry into Greece, we take a breakfast break along the way. Following the break, we head to Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece after the capital, Athens. Upon our arrival in Thessaloniki, we visit the city’s largest church, the Church of Saint Demetrius, and Atatürk’s House. Then we carry out our panoramic city tour. We see, panoramically, the promenade, the White Tower, the Leaning Tower, the Fair, the statue of Alexander the Great, the Seven Towers, the Arch of Galerius (Kamara), the Rotunda, the Bey Hamam, and the Hamza Bey Mosque from the Roman period. Afterwards, we give free time. Guests who wish may join the Outlet Tour arranged as an extra (10 €). After the tour, we head toward our hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, we complete our check-in procedures. In the evening, guests who wish may join the Greek Tavern tour arranged as an extra (Tavern Tour 55 €). After our tavern tour, we return to the hotel and spend the night at our hotel in Thessaloniki.
Thessaloniki - Edessa - Thessaloniki
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, you will have free time. Those who wish may join the optional all-day Edessa Waterfalls Tour (€25). Selanik - Kavala - Porto Lagos - Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we complete our check-out procedures and depart from the hotel, then head toward Kavala. Upon arrival in Kavala, we begin our panoramic city tour. As we make our way toward the old town, the first place we will see is St. Nicholas Church. The mosque, which was built in 1530 by Suleiman the Magnificent in honor of Ibrahim Pasha, was converted into a church in 1926 by shortening its minaret into a bell tower, and Christian mosaics were added in front of it. Other historical places we will see on our tour include Kavala Castle, the house of Mehmet Ali Pasha of Kavala, the Imaret, now used as a hotel, the aqueduct, and the old town within the castle. After our panoramic Kavala city tour, we head to Porto Lagos. We will visit the Agios Nikolaos Church by walking on the bridge built over Lake Vistonida. After a photo break with the lake view, we proceed to the Greek Kipi Land Border Gate. Upon arrival, we complete passport and customs procedures, then have the opportunity for duty-free shopping and head to the İpsala Land Border Gate. After passport and customs procedures, we continue toward Istanbul via the Keşan – Tekirdağ – Silivri highway. Along the route, after our meal break in Tekirdağ (with the opportunity to taste the famous Tekirdağ meatballs), we continue to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul, we drop off our guests at the points specified in the tour program (along the return route) and conclude our tour. We hope to see you again on our next organization…
