DAY 1 ISTANBUL – BOLOGNA – FLORENCE
We meet our valued guests in front of the Turkish Airlines Foreign Departures Terminal at Istanbul Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we fly on the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Florence with our private bus waiting for us at the airport. During our tour, we will see the Arno River dividing Florence, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza Della Signoria which houses masterpieces of the Renaissance such as the statues of Hercules and David, Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo with Italy’s third highest dome, and the famous Baptistery. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel located in Montecatini. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 2 FLORENCE
Guests who wish may join the Tuscany Tour (110 Euro) organized by our guide as an extra. Our first stop is Pisa, where we see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the symbol of Italy, and the nearby Miracoli Square. Then we head to San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel like you are in the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and Cisterna Square. After the tour, we move to Siena. Siena has a total of 17 neighborhoods, where neighborhood culture is strongly visible. The Campo Square where the Palio horse races are held with the participation of the neighborhoods, the unfinished Siena Duomo, and the narrow streets of the city are among the places to be seen on our Siena city tour. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 3 FLORENCE – ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Rome. Guests who wish have the opportunity to join the Orvieto Tour (35€ per person) organized by our guide as an extra along the route. After visiting the ancient city center and Orvieto Duomo in Orvieto, which holds an important place in Italian art and general history and possesses extraordinary natural beauty, we head to Rome. Upon arrival, we conduct a panoramic city tour of Rome. Among the places to be seen on our city tour are Castel Sant’Angelo where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, Piazza Venezia where Mussolini addressed the public and the monument to II. Vittorio Emmauele, the Colosseum which hosted gladiator fights, the Fountain of Love made famous by the film La Dolce Vita, the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps, and the Spanish Steps featuring a sunken ship fountain. After the tour, we transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 4 ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour (80€ per person) organized by our guide as an extra. After visiting the region with natural beauty where Popes lived during the summer season and Nemi village, famous for mountain strawberries where you will want to live permanently, we have free time for shopping in Italy’s most famous shopping area, Castel Romano Outlet. Then we head to San Pietro Square, accepted as the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, we have free time to visit the Basilica and the Square. Guests who wish may also join the Rome by Night Tour (35€ per person) organized by our guide as an extra. Overnight at our hotel.
*The extra tours offered today are combined operations. If taken separately, transportation to/from the start/end points of the tours will be arranged individually.
DAY 5 ROME - ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we check out from the hotel early in the morning and transfer to Rome Airport. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul on the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. With our arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
