DAY 1 ISTANBUL – NEW YORK
We meet our valued guests in front of the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal, 3 hours before the flight time. After completing baggage and ticket procedures, we depart on the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to New York. Upon arrival, we proceed to our hotel and have free time. Guests who wish may join the extra New York Combo Tour (USD 110 per person) organized by our guide. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to see New York’s most iconic landmarks and visit photo-perfect spots. We will visit the plaza where the Twin Towers, now a memorial after the September 11 attacks, once stood, walk along Wall Street past the Charging Bull statue, cross the Brooklyn Bridge, and take a photo break in Dumbo. Later, we will see the Empire State Building, one of the world’s most famous buildings during its construction era, the Flatiron Building with its distinctive architecture frequently seen in films and postcards, Times Square as the heart of New York and the most visited square in the world, and enjoy free time in Central Park, located in the very center of New York. During free time, you may also visit Fifth Avenue and Rockefeller Center, among the city’s major shopping destinations. Guests who wish can also visit the Statue of Liberty, the symbol of New York. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 2 NEW YORK
After breakfast, you will have free time. Guests who wish may join the extra New York Metro Tour to Chinatown & Little Italy & Soho (USD 105 per person) organized by our guide. On this tour, we will visit Chinatown, the vibrant Chinese neighborhood in the heart of New York, where you can find excellent shopping opportunities at affordable prices. Next, we will head to Little Italy, the area with the highest concentration of Italian population in New York, where you will feel as if you are in Italy. Afterwards, we will visit Soho, one of New York’s most upscale neighborhoods. After enjoying free time for shopping and dining here, we will transfer back to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 3 NEW YORK
After breakfast, you will have free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Washington DC Tour (USD 210 per person) organized by our guide. Upon arriving in Washington, our first stop will be the Pentagon. Since entry is not permitted, we will view the Pentagon, headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense, from an elevated position and learn which wing was hit by the plane during the September 11 attacks. Next, we will visit Alexandria, one of the region’s historic settlements. Our next stop will be the Korean War Veterans Memorial. This memorial, dedicated to those who lost their lives and veterans of the Korean War, holds special significance from a Turkish historical perspective as well. We will then visit Arlington National Cemetery. Built in 1864 during the American Civil War, this cemetery is used as a burial ground for soldiers who died in early wars and those who currently serve America. Finally, we will have the opportunity to see the White House, the presidential palace where the United States is governed. After the tour, we return to New York. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 4 NEW YORK
After breakfast, you will have free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Atlantic City Tour: The Las Vegas of the East (USD 170 per person) organized by our guide. On this tour, we will visit Atlantic City, located 2 hours from New York and known as the “Las Vegas of the East.” Due to legalized gambling and its 10 km-long beach, it has become a city with major hotel investments. During our city tour, we will have the opportunity to see the boardwalk and these large-scale hotel developments. After enjoying free time, we will return to New York. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 5 NEW YORK
After breakfast, you will have free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Woodbury Premium Outlet Tour (USD 90 per person) organized by our guide. On this tour, we will visit Woodbury, the largest outlet mall in the region, featuring famous brands. After enjoying free time for shopping, we will return to our hotel. Later, according to the time set by our guide, we will depart for the airport. Upon arrival, you will have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 6 NEW YORK – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we depart for the airport. Once baggage drop and check-in procedures are completed, we fly to Istanbul on the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight.
DAY 7 ISTANBUL
Arrival in Istanbul and end of our tour.
