Day 1 ISTANBUL – LISBON
Meeting with our valued guests 3 hours before the flight time in front of Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After baggage, ticket and boarding procedures, we fly to Lisbon with Turkish Airlines. Following our arrival, we take a panoramic tour of Lisbon city with our private buses waiting at the airport. Places to see include VII. Eduardo Park, Rossio Square (the heart of the city), the famous Liberdade Square, Tagus River, São Jorge Castle, Alfama District, Alcantara District, Belém Tower (where explorers set sail), the Monument to the Discoveries in Belém, and Jerónimos Monastery, completing our panoramic city tour. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Guests who wish can spend their evenings by joining the extra Fado Night’ (70 Euro without dinner, 95 Euro with dinner). Overnight at our hotel.
Day 2 LISBON
Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish can join the extra tour organized by our guide: Sintra & Cascais & Estoril & Cabo da Roca Tour (85€ per person). After viewing Sintra Royal Palace, the most important summer palace of the Portuguese monarchy, panoramically, we visit the old fishing neighborhoods of the towns, and the beaches of Cascais and Estoril where summer houses are located. Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent, is our final stop. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 3 LISBON – PORTO
After breakfast, we depart for Porto. Guests who wish can join the extra tour organized by our guide along the route: Obidos & Nazare & Fatima Tour (60€ per person). We visit Obidos City, a medieval heritage site whose 12th-century walls are still standing and has managed to preserve its historical character. Then we head towards the ocean coast to Nazare, a famous fishing town known for its beach. It is impossible not to be impressed by the cliffs of Nazare, where the famous explorer Vasco da Gama came to pray before embarking on his long sea voyages. After Nazare, we proceed to Fatima. This place, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three young shepherds in 1917 and revealed three secrets, is considered one of the largest pilgrimage and worship centers of Christianity. After our tour, we move to Porto. Upon arrival, in the panoramic Porto city tour, places to see include the Ribeira district overlooking the Douro River from above, historic buildings, Bolsa Palace, Cathedral (Porto Cathedral), House of the Prince, Sao Francisco Church, Sao Bento train station, Ponte d Lous I Bridge, and the Douro River. Guests who wish can join the extra Porto Boat Tour organized by our guide (35€ per person). We have the opportunity to see this magnificent city from the river as well, and after reaching as far as the Ocean, we conclude our tour. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight at our hotel.
Day 4 PORTO
Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish can join the extra Braga & Guimares Tour (80€ per person) organized by us. Braga, one of Portugal’s important cities, is our first stop. In Braga, we visit Bom Jesus Do Monte (Church of the Mountain Jesus), one of the important sacred sites. This magnificent structure, climbed via 650 steps, is the finest example of granite architecture in Northern Portugal. Devout people climb these steps on their knees during holy days to reach the sacred site. After Braga, we move to Guimares, the former capital of Portugal. Guimares, protected by UNESCO, is a very charming city with typical houses and squares. After seeing Guimares, we head back to Porto via a beautiful road along the ocean coast. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and free time. Guests who wish can join the extra Porto by Night and Light Show Tour (70 Euro) organized by our guide. On this tour, we will have the opportunity to see Porto’s most iconic spots seen during the day illuminated at night. The most interesting moment of this tour will be the light show accompanied by music inside Clerigos Church during the dark evening hours. We recommend you do not miss this rare show held worldwide. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 5 PORTO
After breakfast, we transfer to the airport. After ticket and customs procedures, our flight to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines’ scheduled service begins. After arriving in Istanbul, our tour concludes.
