Toledo is a real open-air museum and one of the most important cities on the UNESCO World Heritage list, being the former capital of Spain. The country's most majestic cathedral, housing works by world-famous painters, rivals the world's few museums. Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has managed to remain unchanged from the 16th century to the present day. Buildings carrying traces of Roman, Visigothic, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, El Greco's paintings, typical bakeries, Damascino shops, and of course the famous cathedral make it a tourist crossroads. Another tradition in Toledo is almond paste production, dating back to when the Arabs conquered the city. A visit to Toledo is not complete without tasting this mouth-watering sweet. After the tour, our journey to Madrid continues from where it left off. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Madrid. We start with the large square known as Plaza Mayor. This square has 136 buildings and 437 balconies opening onto courtyards. At one time, bullfights and people burned by the Inquisition were watched from these balconies. The heart of the city Puerta Del Sol, the large square named Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace's place for addressing the public Plaza De Orient, the Alcala Gate built as an entrance gate to show how rich the city is, Gran Via with its galleryed roofs that dazzle the eye, Plaza Colon, Cibeles Square and Fountain, and the Cervantes Monument are among the places to see. We will admire the massive Roman aqueduct, the exterior facade of Segovia Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, and the magnificent castle known as Segovia Alcázar, which reminds us of the Snow White Castle in history. After free time, we set off towards Figueras City with the view of the Pyrenees mountains. The town has such an impressive atmosphere that it has been a lifelong source of inspiration for the boundary-defying painter Salvador Dali, whom the whole world admires. Here, we will visit the museum house decorated by the famous surrealist painter "Salvador Dali" himself.
