Tour Program
Istanbul - Hamburg – Kiel
We meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 04:30, then complete our check-in procedures and depart for Hamburg on Turkish Airlines flight TK1661 at 07:00. Upon arrival in Hamburg at 09:10 local time, we transfer to our ship in Kiel port. After the check-in and baggage procedures for our COSTA DIADEMA ship, we settle into our cabins and then enjoy free time. After boarding the ship, our guide will hold a meeting introducing the ship and our tours, after which you may enjoy the ship until dinner. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Copenhagen
Our ship will dock at the port of Copenhagen at 10:00 a.m. After breakfast, we will depart with our private vehicle waiting for us at the port for the “Copenhagen City Tour.” Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, is located on Zealand, the country’s largest island. Amalienborg Palace, located in the city center, is famous as the residence of the royal family to this day. Copenhagen, one of Europe’s highest standard-of-living cities, is also home to a very vibrant nightlife. Defined as one of the five best cities in the world to live in, the sights we will see on our tour of Copenhagen include the city’s symbol, the “Little Mermaid,” as well as Amalienborg, Christiansborg and Rosenborg Palaces, Gefion Fountain, Tivoli Gardens, the Autonomous Hippy District and “Christiana.” Afterwards, free time at Nyhavn (New Harbor), Copenhagen’s city center. After the tour, return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 6:00 p.m. Dinner and overnight on board.
Navigation at Sea
During this day spent cruising at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can make use of the ship’s open and indoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who prefer can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy the various music and entertainment events held in dozens of bars. A wide range of dining options will also be waiting for you throughout the day.
Hellesylt - Geiranger
Our ship will arrive at Hellesylt port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, we will depart from the port with our private vehicle waiting for us for the “Hellesylt & Geiranger Tour.” These two charming villages at the fork at the end of Storfjord are former postal ports in the north and, due to the difficulty of overland access, are today among Norway’s favorite cruise ports in the north, with an annual average of 180 ship visits. We begin our tour by greeting Hellesylt Waterfall... Initially known as the postal route heading north, it is now a tourism center. First, we head to the viewpoint where we will see the Hellesylt fjord and, after taking photos of the fjord there, we continue on our way. Our first stop is the hammer-shaped stone and a stone bridge dating back to the 1800s. Then we go to Hornindal Lake, the deepest lake in Europe, and take a break there. After getting back on the road, our next stop is Stryn, one of the most lively towns in the region. In Stryn, where the royal family especially comes to fish, we will see the stone bridge and then have free time for shopping and coffee/lunch. After the break we will give at the foot of Lake Djupvatnet, you will be enchanted by the view you will see from the terrace of Mount Dalsnibba at an altitude of 1476 m if the weather is nice. Then we will stop at the Flydal viewing platform and photograph the Geiranger fjord this time. After our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:30. Dinner and overnight on board.
Bergen
Our ship will dock at Alesund port at 07:00 in the morning. After breakfast, we will depart with our private vehicle waiting for us at the port for the “Bergen Walking Tour & Floien Funicular Observation Terrace Tour.” We will begin exploring this beautiful city, which was a stopover point for trade and ships until 1830 and is now included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list, starting with the German Wharf, and continue with the Fish Market, which will fascinate you with its beauty. Then we will see the historic Hansa houses, Haakon’s Hall, and the Kruzberg Tower. We will also take Bergen’s famous funicular up to Mt. Floien (Floyen) and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Bergen. After our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
Stavanger
Our ship will arrive at Stavanger port at 09:00 in the morning. After breakfast, we will depart from the port with our guide for the “Stavanger & Lysefjord Boat Tour.” Our boat tour in Stavanger will consist of two parts. In the first part, we will explore on foot together the richest city in Norway, the center of North Sea oil. Then, we plan to spend about 2.5 hours on a boat tour of Lysefjord, a 42 km-long fjord, also known as the “Fjord of Light.” According to many, the most striking point of this fjord, which is among Norway’s most beautiful and distinctive, is Pulpit Rock, a monolithic granite rock 600 meters above sea level. Although the large crack visible from three sides of the rock gives the impression that it could fall into the sea at any moment, it is likely that it will take thousands more years for this natural event to occur. After our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00.

Kiel/Hamburg – Istanbul
Our ship will dock at Kiel Port at 09:00. After breakfast, we complete our disembarkation procedures and depart for the airport with our waiting vehicle. Upon arrival at the airport, we complete our check-in procedures and depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1666 at 14:50. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 19:15 local time. End of our tour.
