DAY 1 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – HAMBURG – KIEL
We meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 04:00, complete our check-in procedures, and then depart for Hamburg on Turkish Airlines flight TK1661 at 06:50. Upon arrival in Hamburg at local time 08:50, we transfer to our ship docked at the Kiel port. After completing check-in and baggage procedures for the COSTA DIADEMA, we settle into our cabins and enjoy free time. Our guide will organize a briefing after boarding to introduce you to the ship and our tours; thereafter, you can enjoy the ship until dinner. The ship will depart from the port at 19:30. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 2 COPENHAGEN
Our ship will dock at Copenhagen port at 10:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there is free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the "Copenhagen City Tour" organized by our guide as an extra option. Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, is located on Zealand, the country's largest island. Amalienborg Palace, located in the city center, is famous today as the residence of the royal family. Copenhagen, one of the cities with the highest living standards in Europe, also boasts a very colorful nightlife. Described as one of the five best cities to live in the world, our tour within Copenhagen includes first visiting the city's symbol, the 'Little Mermaid', followed by Amelienborg, Christianborg, and Rosenborg Palaces, Gefion Fountain, Tivoli Gardens, the Autonomous Hippy District, and 'Christiania'. Afterwards, there is free time at Nyhavn (New Harbor), the center of Copenhagen. After the tour, we return to the ship. The ship will depart from the port at 18:00. DAY 3 AT SEA
On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship offers many alternatives. Those who wish can use the ship's open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Others can shop in duty-free stores, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment offered in dozens of bars. A variety of dining options are waiting for you throughout the day.
DAY 4 GDYNIA (GDANSK)
Our ship will dock at Gdynia port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there is free time for personal activities and shopping. Guests who wish can join the "Gdynia (Gdansk) City Tour" organized by our guides as an extra option. Gdynia is a Polish port located in the Gulf of Gdansk, overlooking the Baltic Sea. The city, which has a colorful maritime history, is also home to an iconic statue of Joseph Conrad, one of the greatest English-language novelists. This enchanting city is known for its modernist buildings and striking landmarks such as the magnificent Kosciuszki Square. Further away, it is a notable region with various tourist sites like Malbork Castle and the lively town of Gdańsk. After the tour, we return to the ship. The ship will depart from the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 5 VISBY
Our ship will dock at Visby port at 08:00. Breakfast will be taken on board. There is free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish can join the "Visby City Walking Tour" organized as an extra option. Visby, the only Swedish town on the island of Gotland, is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List due to its medieval structures. The most important of these historical remains are the Ringmuren walls, which surround the town and its old churches. Also among the places we will see are the tower gates in the town, merchant houses dating back to the 14th century, triangular-roofed Hanseatic houses, and Strandgatan, Sweden's oldest building. Later, we will take a walk in Almedalen, the port area, visit the historic Visby Cathedral, the ruins of St. Nicholas Church, Almadelen Park, the Botanical Park, and historical buildings from the 12th, 13th, and 14th centuries to experience the soul of the city. After the walking tour, during the free time provided by our guide, you can visit the Gotland Museum, famous for its coins and rich collections. At the end of the tour, there is free time for shopping and photography. We then transfer back to the ship. The ship departs from the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 6 STOCKHOLM
Our ship will dock at Stockholm port at 10:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there is free time for personal activities and shopping. Guests who wish can join the "Vasa Museum & Stockholm City Tour" organized by our guides as an extra option. We will begin exploring Stockholm, accepted as the Venice of the North, starting from Fjallgatan street in the Södermalm district, one of the city's highest points. Here, we will take a short photo break and enjoy beautiful views of Stockholm and the harbor. We will then move to Gamla Stan (Old Town), which forms the historic part of the city, built on three islands, where the Royal Palace and the Cathedral are located, and walk through cobblestone, narrow streets with our guide. After free time in the Old Town, we continue our tour by bus to see the exterior of Kungsgarden, the Royal Opera House, the National Museum, the Royal Theatre, Grand Hotel, and the Royal City Hall, where the Nobel Prize dinner is held every year. Finally, we will visit the Vasa Museum, where the old Vasa ship that sank in 1628 is located. After our museum visit, we return to the ship. The ship departs from the port at 18:00. Our ship will dock at Kiel port at 09:00. After our breakfast, we complete our ship disembarkation procedures and head to the airport with our waiting vehicle. Upon arrival at the airport, we complete our check-in procedures and depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1664 at 18:50. We arrive at Istanbul Airport at local time 23:05. End of our tour.
