DAY 1 | ISTANBUL – TIRANA - OHRID |
Flight to Tirana with AJET Airlines and arrival. Meeting by our guide at the airport, then we depart with our bus for our city tour. Places we will see on our panoramic tour by bus: Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, U.S. Embassy, the construction of the four-minaret Namazgah Mosque financed by the Diyanet Foundation, the statue of Suleyman Pasha, founder of Tirana, Tirana city square, Ethem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, National Museum, University Building, Opera and Ballet Building, the statue of Skanderbeg, the national hero of the Albanians, located in the square, Parliament and Ministry buildings, Presidential Palace. After our Tirana tour, our next stop is Ohrid. We will conduct a tour introducing the historic city of Ohrid, which was one of the important bases of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans. Places we will see during our tour: the 1,000-year-old plane tree, Zeynel Abidin Pasha Lodge (Halveti Lodge), Ali Pasha Mosque, the city square and Ohrid Bazaar famous for its pearl shops, Ohrid market place, Statue of Saint Clement, a shop where we can see paper-making using the technique applied in China in the 2nd century BC on streets reminiscent of Safranbolu, Saint Sophia Church, Ancient Theatre. After our walking tour, we head to our local restaurant for dinner, and after dinner, accommodation at our Ohrid hotel.

DAY 2 | OHRID – KALKANDELEN – SKOPJE |
07:00 Breakfast. 08:00 Departure from hotel. After breakfast, we leave our hotel and go by bus to Kalkandelen (Tetovo), a charming town built during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent. (Ohrid - Kalkandelen 130 KM) In Kalkandelen, our first important stop is the Painted Mosque, built in 1833 by Abdurrahman Pasha. You will be fascinated by the mosque's interior and exterior decorations, made with paint created by mixing animal blood, plant roots, and egg whites. The decorations are in a Baroque style rarely seen in Ottoman works. Then, by our vehicle, we go to Harabati Baba Lodge, the Bektashi center of the period here. After receiving information about the lodge from Cemali from Tetovo, its 20-year guardian and caretaker, we go to Abdulmuttalip, the Bektashi dervish residing in another corner of the lodge, and listen to the history of the lodge and the works carried out there from him as well. At the time determined by our guide, we set off for Skopje, the capital of Macedonia. (Kalkandelen– Skopje 40 KM) We get off our bus near Skopje Castle and begin our city tour. We start our walking tour in the original Skopje Turkish Bazaar, where the Ottoman Empire ruled for more than 500 years and which has managed to preserve its old form. Places we will see during our tour: Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Goldsmiths Street, Arasta Mosque, Stone Bridge built over the Vardar River and the symbol of Skopje, Turkish and Jewish Quarter, Daut Pasha Bath, Čifte Bath, Murat Pasha Mosque, Sulu Han, Kapan Han, Kurshumli Han, the giant Alexander the Great Statue, which caused the name crisis with Greece in 2011, the statue of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great, the Vardar River, the Macedonian Archaeological Museum and Archive building, the National Theater Building, the Resistance Museum, the statues of Saints Cyril and Methodius, who invented the Cyrillic alphabet, the 17th-century Church of Saint Spas, the Mother Teresa memorial and Teresa Museum, the Old Train Station building, which remains as it was destroyed in the 1963 earthquake. After our walking tour, free time. We meet again at the time determined by our guide and have dinner together at our local restaurant. Then accommodation at our hotel in Skopje. Guests who wish may spend time in the center after dinner to enjoy this city, which is beautifully illuminated at night.

DAY 3 | SKOPJE – SULTAN MURAD TOMB – PRIZREN – SKOPJE |
07:00 Breakfast. 08:00 Departure from hotel. After breakfast, departure to Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. We visit the tomb in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, which has played key roles at many points in Ottoman history, where the internal organs of Ottoman Sultan Murad I Hüdavendigar, who was martyred in the Battle of Kosovo in 1389, are buried. We also visit the Selamlık building right next to the tomb, which is used as a museum. Inside the building, we have the opportunity to see photos of the visit of Sultan Reşad, the last Ottoman Sultan to visit the Balkans in 1911. While heading from the tomb to Prizren, we see the square and monument where, in 1989, Yugoslav leader Slobodan Milošević launched his election campaign due to the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Kosovo and where he first used the phrase “Greater Serbia,” which later would bring about the end of Yugoslavia. After a one-and-a-half-hour journey, we arrive in Prizren, the second largest city of Kosovo, home to many Ottoman works. We start our Prizren city tour. On this walking tour with our guide, places we will see: the Halveti Lodge, Gazi Mehmet Pasha Bath, the Namazgah where Fatih Sultan Mehmed prayed with his army, Bayraklı Mosque, the Maraş district and Maraş Bridge, the 400-year-old giant plane tree, Emin Pasha Mosque, the building of the Republic of Turkey Consulate General in Prizren, the Stone Bridge over the Bistrica (Akdere), Shadervan Square, Sinan Pasha Mosque, St. George and Catholic Churches, the Arasta Mosque minaret, whose mosque was demolished during Yugoslav times but whose minaret managed to remain standing, and the Serbian quarter where we can still see the devastating effects of the war. After the tour, free time to enjoy this beautiful city. Later, at the time determined by our guide, we depart for dinner and then head to our hotel in Skopje for accommodation.

DAY 4 | SKOPJE – BELGRADE |

After the breakfast we will have at our hotel in the morning, we depart for Belgrade, the capital of Serbia and one of the most established cities in the Balkans. After necessary breaks along the route, arrival in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. New Palace of Justice, Federal Parliament, Terazije Street, National Theater, Castle Square, Stone Square, Tomb of Martyr Ali Pasha, Bayraklı Mosque, after visiting the Church of the Virgin Mary, Sava Cathedral, the General Staff building bombed by NATO in Belgrade in 1999 due to the Kosovo events, the police headquarters building, the Chinese Embassy. DAY 5 | BELGRADE – SARAJEVO |
07:00 Breakfast. 08:00 Departure from hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon arrival in Sarajevo, we head to Baščaršija. On the way, we see buildings that still bear the traces of wartime bombardment, the tram line, Europe's first electric-powered tram line, which still actively crosses Sarajevo from end to end, the buildings belonging to the Yugoslav People's Army of the Tito era but now used as the Sarajevo university campus, the United States' second-largest embassy building in the world, the Sarajevo City Museum, the Parliament building, and the largest shopping mall in the region built by Arab investors, before arriving in Baščaršija. Our first stop is the martyr cemetery, where the martyrs of the tragic war of 1992-1995 and the memorial tomb of Alija Izetbegović are located. We recite Fatiha for the war martyrs and receive information from our guide about Alija Izetbegović, the first President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and his life. Then we begin our walking tour of Baščaršija by passing through the cobblestone Bosnian-Turkish neighborhood that managed to survive from the Ottoman period. Places we will see during our tour: the Sebilj built with 18th-century Bosnian architecture, Bakırcılar Street, the only active art street surviving from the Ottoman period, the Bazaar Mosque, Morića Han and the “Mladi Muslimani” premises of the Young Muslims organization inside it, Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque and tomb, a relative of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, the Clock Tower, Kuršumli Madrasa, the Gazi Husrev Bey museum and library, Europe’s first public toilet, the Latin Bridge known as the place where World War I began, the Hünkar Mosque built in the name of Fatih Sultan Mehmet, Horse Square – Okmeydanı, Bakır Baba Mosque built by the Metropolitan Municipality of Bursa, the Orthodox Church, Alija Izetbegović Park and Sarajevo retirees who constantly play chess in the park, Ferhadija Mosque, Ferhadija Street (Sarajevo’s Istiklal Street), the Jewish Synagogue, the Catholic Church – Cathedral – Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Sarajevo Roses (points where more than one person lost their lives due to a single bomb during wartime), the point where the bakery massacre took place, the eternal flame lit in memory of the liberation of Sarajevo occupied by the Germans by the Yugoslav army on April 6, 1945, Markale Market, where 68 people lost their lives in the market massacre on February 5, 1994, and Vijećnica Library, built during the Austro-Hungarian period as the Government Building (City Hall) and burned during the war, causing many manuscripts to turn to ash. After our walking tour in Baščaršija, we have dinner and go to our hotel for accommodation.

DAY 6 | SARAJEVO – KONJIC – JABLANICA – BLAGAJ – MOSTAR - SARAJEVO |
07.00 Breakfast – 08.00 Departure from hotel. We leave our hotel and depart to tour Mostar, the largest and most beautiful city in the Herzegovina region. Passing through the small towns on our way, we arrive at our first stop, the town of Konjic (Konyits, Sarajevo – Konyits 50 km). In this small city of 50 thousand people, established on the banks of the Neretva River, the Ottoman bridge, damaged in World War II and the 92–95 war and restored by the Turkish General Directorate of Highways and TIKA, the mosque with a broken minaret, and the mini bazaar restored in accordance with its original form are among the places we will see. After our photo break, we continue our journey. Our second stop is Jablanica, the city where the battle took place in which Josip Broz Tito, founder of Yugoslavia, received the title of marshal. (Yablanitsa, Konyits – Yablanitsa 23 km) In this city, also famous for its spit-roasted lamb, we see the bridge destroyed by Tito in 1943 as a result of his struggle against the German Nazis and the area where the event took place. Then we head to the Alperen Lodge, established 5 centuries ago at the source of the Buna River, whose source has not yet been reached and from which up to 43,000 liters of water per second emerge. We visit the lodge, also known as the Sarı Saltuk Lodge. We visit Ali Pasha’s tomb and the tomb of Sarı Saltuk inside the lodge, and in this two-story house built in the style of a typical Anatolian house, we see the women's prayer room, the hall room, the men's prayer room and dhikr room, the bathhouse, and the room used as a retreat room and kitchen. Guests who wish may drink Turkish tea in the courtyard overlooking the river. Then we depart for our final stop, the city of Mostar. (Blagay – Mostar 12 km) On the way, we see Mostar Airport and the military area built opposite the airport during Yugoslav times and used as a shelter for airplanes. This area was prepared for hiding airplanes by carving out the inside of the hill right across from the airport. Upon arrival in Mostar, we begin our walking tour. Places to be seen during our tour: the Martyr Mosque and the cemetery in its courtyard. A feature of this cemetery is that Croat and Serb residents of Mostar who fought shoulder to shoulder with Muslim Bosniaks during the war are also buried there, the cobbled Mostar bazaar worked with stones collected from the river specific to the region, Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque. This mosque is the one from which the most beautiful photo of the bridge is taken, the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Mostar, Mostar Bridge – a single-arch bridge built in 1566 by Mimar Hayrettin, a student of Mimar Sinan, destroyed in 1993 and restored again in 2004, Tara Tower – while these towers were once exclusive to the teams providing bridge security, today they serve as a museum, Kriva Cuprija – the Crooked Bridge, Tabakhane Mosque and Bath – a mosque specially built by the notable people engaged in leatherwork so as not to disturb the congregation in other mosques with their smell, and with water flowing underneath it.
Free time in Mostar for shopping and enjoying the city. Later, at the time our guide will determine, we meet and set off for Sarajevo. In Jablanica town on the way, we have our dinner at the famous spit-roast lamb restaurants as a spit-roast lamb menu. Then we head to Sarajevo. Upon arrival, accommodation at our hotel.

DAY 7 | SARAJEVO – WAR TUNNEL – ISTANBUL |
After the breakfast we will have at our hotel, we check out and leave our hotel at 08.00. First, we visit the Tunnel of Hope, one of the most critical moves by the Bosniaks during the war in 92–95, dug under the airport. In this tunnel and museum, which broke the Sarajevo siege, considered the longest siege in history (4 years, 4 months) and changed the course of the war, we feel the war through a 15-minute video prepared from original footage. (To avoid disrupting the tour, the War Tunnel tour will be conducted or may not be conducted if the guide deems appropriate). Then we proceed towards Baščaršija. (Yablanitsa, Konyits – Yablanitsa 23 km) Also famous for its spit-roasted lamb, in this city we see the bridge destroyed by Tito’s struggle against the German Nazis in 1943 and the area where the event took place. Then we head to the source of the Buna River, whose source has not yet been reached and from which up to 43,000 liters of water per second flows, to the Alperenler Lodge established 5 centuries ago. We visit the lodge, also known as the Sarı Saltuk lodge. We visit Ali Pasha’s tomb and Sarı Saltuk’s tomb located inside the lodge, and in this two-story house built in the style of a typical Anatolian house, we see the women’s prayer room, the main room, the men’s prayer room and dhikr room, the small bathhouse, the retreat room, and the room used as a kitchen. Guests who wish can drink Turkish tea in the courtyard overlooking the river. Then we head to our final stop, the city of Mostar. (Blagay – Mostar 12 km) Along the way, we see Mostar Airport and the military area built opposite the airport during Yugoslavia’s time and used as a shelter for planes. This area was prepared for hiding aircraft by hollowing out the hillside directly opposite the airport. Upon our arrival in Mostar, we begin our walking tour. Places to be seen during our tour: the Martyrs’ Mosque and the cemetery in its courtyard. One special feature of this cemetery is that Croat and Serb residents of Mostar, who fought shoulder to shoulder with Muslim Bosniaks during the war, are also buried here; the paved Mostar bazaar decorated with stones collected from the river specific to the region; Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque. This mosque is the one from which the most beautiful photo of the bridge is taken; Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Mostar; Mostar Bridge – a single-arch bridge built in 1566 by Mimar Hayrettin, a student of Mimar Sinan, destroyed in 1993 but restored again in 2004; Tara Tower – while these towers once belonged to teams ensuring bridge security, today they serve as a museum; Kriva Cuprija – the Crooked Bridge; Tabakhane Mosque and bathhouse – a mosque built for the leather-working notables so as not to disturb the congregations of other mosques with their smell, and where water flows underneath.
Free time to shop and enjoy the city in Mostar. Then we meet at the time determined by our guide and set off toward Sarajevo. On the way, in the town of Jablanica, we have our dinner at the famous lamb roast restaurants as a lamb roast menu. Then departure for Sarajevo. Upon arrival, accommodation at our hotel.
After having breakfast at our hotel, we check out and leave the hotel at 08:00. First, we visit the Tunnel of Life, one of the most critical moves by the Bosniaks in the war fought between 92 and 95, dug under the airport. In this tunnel and museum, which broke the Siege of Sarajevo that changed the course of the war and is considered the longest siege in history (4 years and 4 months), we feel the war through a 15-minute video prepared from original footage. (Depending on the guide’s discretion, the Tunnel of War tour will be conducted or may not be conducted so that the tour does not fall behind schedule). Then we continue toward Baščaršija. On our way, we see the buildings that still bear the traces of wartime bombardment, the tram line that was Europe’s first electric tram line and still runs actively across Sarajevo, the buildings belonging to the Yugoslav People’s Army from the Tito era but now used as the Sarajevo university campus, the building of the USA’s second-largest embassy in the world, the Sarajevo City Museum, the Parliament building, and the largest shopping mall in the region built by Arab investors, and arrive at Baščaršija. Our first stop is the martyr cemetery, where the martyrs of the tragic war of 1992-1995 and Aliya Izetbegović’s memorial grave are located. We recite Fatiha for the war martyrs and receive information from our guide about Bosnia and Herzegovina’s first President, Alija Izetbegović, and his life. Then, passing through the cobblestone Bosniak-Turkish neighborhood that has managed to survive from the Ottoman period, we begin our walking tour of Baščaršija. The places we will see during our tour are; the Sebilj built with 18th-century Bosnian architecture, Bakırcılar Street, the only active artisan street that has survived from the Ottoman period, the Çarşı mosque, Moriça Han and the Mladi Muslimani organization headquarters inside it, the Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque and tomb of Gazi Hüsrev Bey, the cousin of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, the Clock Tower, the Kurşunlu Madrasa, the Gazi Husrev Bey museum and library, Europe’s first public toilet, the Latin Bridge known as the place where World War I began, the Hünkar Mosque built in the name of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror, the Horse Square - Archery Square, the Bakır Baba Mosque built by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, the Orthodox Church, Alija Izetbegović Park and the Sarajevo retirees who constantly play chess in the park, the Ferhadija Mosque, Ferhadija Street (Sarajevo’s Istiklal Street), the Jewish Synagogue, the Catholic Church - Cathedral - Church of the Sacred Heart, the Sarajevo Roses (points where more than one person lost their life due to a bomb during the war), the site of the Breadline Massacre, the eternal flame lit in memory of the liberation of Sarajevo occupied by the Germans by the Yugoslav army on April 6, 1945, the Markale Market, known as the Market Massacre on February 5, 1994, where 68 people lost their lives, and the Vijećnica library, built during the Austro-Hungarian period as the Government House (Municipal building) and during the war set on fire, causing many manuscripts to be reduced to ashes. After our walking tour in Baščaršija, we depart for Sarajevo Airport. After passport and customs procedures, we head to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and arrive.
