Budva Route Tour Itinerary (4 Nights with Pegasus Airlines)

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen – Podgorica – Budva
Meeting with our valued guests at the Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Departures Terminal, no less than 3 hours before departure. After completing ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart on Pegasus Airlines' scheduled flight PC 261 to Podgorica at 10:00. Arrival in Podgorica is scheduled for 10:50 local time. Following passport and ticket formalities, we will leave the airport area to begin our city tour. We then proceed towards Budva. Upon arrival in Budva, one of the most famous holiday resorts in the Balkans known for its stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife, we will embark on a walking tour visiting Stari Grad (the old town center) and the castle. Afterwards, we will transfer to our hotel for check-in. Guests who wish may enjoy Budva's nightlife at its exquisite restaurants and entertainment venues. Overnight stay at our hotel.
Budva (Tivat-Porto Montenegro-Perast-Kotor)
After breakfast, an optional full-day tour of Kotor and the Fjords is available for 75 euros. During this excursion, we will visit Tivat, Porto Montenegro, Kotor, and Perast, including a round-trip boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks in Perast. We will first head to Tivat and explore Porto Montenegro, a luxurious marina known for its impressive architecture. Next, we will visit Kotor, a historic and tourist city nestled among white stone buildings and bathed in Mediterranean sunlight, recognized as part of the UNESCO World Heritage list of natural and cultural heritage. We will tour the Kotor Bay and its ancient fortified town. Located in southwestern Montenegro and just south of Croatia, Kotor is Europe's second-largest fjord after Norway's, featuring a natural harbor formed by four bays connected by narrow straits. Bare mountains drop steeply toward the coast around these bays. After our guided city tour of Kotor, you will have free time for personal exploration and activities before we proceed to Perast, a charming baroque town famous for its small islands in Kotor Bay. In Perast, we will enjoy a pleasant boat trip to Our Lady of the Rocks, visit the island, and return. Perast is one of the most beautiful places in Montenegro for swimming; please don't forget your swimsuit. After enjoying the sea and sun in Perast, we will return to Budva. Guests who wish may also join the optional Montenegrin Night with live music in the evening (75 euros). This evening experience includes a special dinner at a lovely restaurant on Budva's waterfront, accompanied by live music and limited drinks. The menu features: an appetizer plate with cheese and dried meats, Sopka salad, grilled sea bass served with potatoes and spinach sauce, dessert, one local rakija, and one soft drink (wine/beer/cola, etc.). Guests who do not eat fish may substitute their main course with meatballs or chicken, provided they notify us one day in advance. Overnight accommodation will be at our hotel.
Budva (Cetinje - Virpazar - Lake Skadar - Bar - Sveti Stefan)
After breakfast, an optional half-day boat tour of Budva's beaches, Petrovac, and Sveti Stefan is available for 75 euros. During this excursion, we board our private boat from the shores of Budva and begin our journey. First, we stop at Sveti Nikola (Hawaii) Island for a swimming break, followed by a visit to Sveti Stefan Island. We then continue by boat to the charming coastal town of Petrovac, where we spend approximately two hours on board. Petrovac, a small tourist resort on the Adriatic coast, is also one of Montenegro's oldest seaside towns. Here, guests enjoy the sun and sea at Petrovac's beaches. After a free lunch, we return to Petrovac by road in a private vehicle. On the way back, we admire Sveti Stefan from land, offering a different perspective of its extraordinary scenery. Once a village protected by walls in the 15th century, Sveti Stefan was originally a fishing settlement. It was later expropriated and sold to a Singaporean hotel chain, leading to extensive restoration efforts that have transformed it into a premier tourist destination today. Until the 1950s, it remained a fishing village, and during the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, it became a favored retreat for celebrities such as Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe, and Elizabeth Taylor. We take a photo stop at a vantage point offering panoramic views of Sveti Stefan before returning to Budva.
*** Outside the summer season (during spring, autumn, and winter), this tour will be conducted entirely by road under the name "Budva Beaches, Sveti Stefan, Petrovac, and Stari Bar Tour," without a boat. Guests who wish may additionally join an optional afternoon boat tour on Lake Skadar, combined with a visit to Cetinje, Montenegro's former royal capital, and an evening dinner at a national restaurant (110 euros). In this tour, we first head to Virpazar, a picturesque town overlooking Lake Skadar. From there, we embark on a leisurely boat ride through the Lake Skadar National Park aboard a private vessel. Aboard the boat, you will have the opportunity to sample renowned Montenegrin wines. As home to around 250 bird species, including pelicans, Lake Skadar—the largest lake in the Balkans—offers a unique chance to observe these magnificent birds. After the boat tour on the lake, we explore Cetinje, Montenegro's historic royal capital. Highlights of our panoramic tour include the former Turkish Consulate, the small Cetinje square, King Nikola's residence, and the historic Serbian Orthodox monastery. Dinner will be served at sunset at a famous Montenegrin national and local restaurant.
Menu: Seasonal salad, cheese platter, meat platter (beef) with boiled potatoes in sauce, accompanied by one large glass of local wine. This meal allows guests to experience traditional Montenegrin cheeses, meats, and wines. Vegetarian guests may request to substitute their main course with either meatballs or chicken, provided they notify us one day in advance. Overnight stay at our hotel.
Budva (Herceg Novi)
After breakfast, you will have a free day to shop, explore, and enjoy the sea and sun. For those interested, an optional full-day tour of Herceg Novi, Portonovi, Jumbo Shopping Center, and Lovcen National Park via cable car is available for 75 euros. This tour begins with a visit to Herceg Novi, a historic city renowned for its natural beauty, lush vegetation, and fragrant linden trees, located near the Croatian border. We will explore "The City of Castles" on foot, visiting key sites including Nikola Durkovic Square, the Clock Tower, Krva Kula (Bloody Tower), Belavista Square, St. Archangel Michael Church, Forte Mare Fortress, and the statue of King Tvrtko. After the walking tour, you are welcome to relax at Herceg Novi's beaches—don't forget your swimsuit! Next, we will see Portonovi, one of Montenegro's new luxury tourism developments featuring a marina. In the afternoon, on our way back to Budva, we will stop at Jumbo Shopping Center for approximately 1.5 hours of shopping time (note: Jumbo is closed on Sundays). During this break, guests who wish can take the new cable car up to Lovcen Mountain, where they will be captivated by breathtaking panoramic views of the bays of Kotor, Tivat, Risan, and Herceg Novi from an elevation of about 1,316 meters. Please note that transfer fees and cable car tickets are charged separately at 35 euros. Alternatively, for those wishing to visit another country beyond Montenegro, an optional full-day tour of Mostar and Blagaj in Bosnia-Herzegovina with lunch included is available for 150 euros. Departure from the hotel is scheduled around 7:00 AM. After crossing into Bosnia-Herzegovina, we will first visit the magnificent Blagaj region, home to Blagaj Tekke, the oldest dervish lodge in Bosnia. Lunch will be served at a special riverside restaurant, featuring grilled fish, salad, and beverages. Later, we proceed to the historic city of Mostar. On foot, we will explore Ottoman heritage sites, including the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque and the famous Mostar Bridge. Designed by architect Hayreddin and built in 1557, the bridge is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. Although it was destroyed during the 1992 war by Croatian artillery, it was rebuilt in 2004 with significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey and reopened to the public. Following some free time for personal exploration and activities, we will begin our return journey. Overnight stay at our hotel.
Budva – Podgorica – Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, rooms must be vacated. Free time until the time specified by your guide. Then, transfer to the airport. After completing baggage and ticket procedures, we will depart on Pegasus Airlines flight PC262 at 12:30 for Istanbul. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 15:05 local time, marking the end of our tour.
