We meet our valued guests at Ankara Esenboğa Airport International Departures Terminal at least 3 hours before the flight. Following ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Podgorica on Pegasus Airlines’ scheduled flight at ***. Upon arrival at Podgorica Airport in Montenegro at *** local time, we travel by our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport for approximately one hour to Budva. After arriving in Budva, one of the most famous holiday destinations in the Balkans with its magnificent beaches and vibrant nightlife, we will take a walking tour of Stari Grad (Old Town) and the fortress. After the tour, we check in to our hotel. Guests who wish may enjoy Budva’s nightlife at various beautiful restaurants and entertainment venues. Overnight at our hotel.
Budva
After breakfast, an additional full-day Kotor and Fjords Tour (75 Euro). On this tour, we will visit Tivat, Porto Montenegro, Kotor, and Perast, and we will also take a boat round-trip to the Lady of the Rocks island in Perast. We will first depart for Tivat and visit Porto Montenegro marina, with its luxurious development. Then we will visit Kotor, a tourist and historic city of the region, enclosed by white stones and illuminated by the Mediterranean sun, which is listed on the UNESCO World Natural and Historical Heritage list, as well as Kotor Bay and the historic fortress town. Located in southwestern Montenegro and southern Croatia on the Adriatic coast, Kotor is the largest fjord in Europe after Norway and a natural harbor; it consists of four bays connected by narrow straits. The bare mountains around the bay descend steeply to the shore. After our Kotor city tour together, we will have free time for your personal visits and activities, and then we will visit Perast, the charming baroque town famous for its small islands in Kotor Bay. In Perast, we will take a special boat ride to the “Lady of the Rocks” island, visit the island, and return. Perast is one of the most beautiful places in Montenegro where you can swim in the sea, so do not forget to bring your swimsuit. After enjoying the sea and sun in Perast, we will return to Budva. Guests who wish may additionally join the Montenegro Night with live music in the evening. (75 Euro) On this tour, a special dinner with limited drinks will be served at a nice restaurant on the Budva coast, accompanied by live music.
Budva
After breakfast, an optional half-day boat tour of Budva Coast, Petrovac, and Sveti Stefan awaits you for an additional 75 euros. On this tour, we board our private boat from the Budva coast and begin our journey, first stopping for swimming breaks at Sveti Nikola (Hawaii) Island and then at Sveti Stefan Island. We then continue by boat to the charming town of Petrovac. We spend approximately 2 hours on the private boat. Petrovac, a small tourist town on the Adriatic coast, is also one of Montenegro’s oldest seaside towns. We enjoy the sea and sun on Petrovac’s beaches. After a free lunch, we depart Petrovac by private vehicle and return overland. On the way back, we view the extraordinary Sveti Stefan from the mainland this time. Once a fishing settlement on an island, Sveti Stefan was later expropriated and then sold to a Singaporean hotel chain, and has since been brought into tourism through restoration work. In the 15th century, it was a village protected by walls. Until the 1950s, Sveti Stefan Island was a fishing town, and in the 60s, 70s, and 80s it was frequented by celebrities such as Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe, and Liz Taylor. We stop for a photo break at a location where we can enjoy a panoramic view of Sveti Stefan and return to Budva.
*** Outside the summer season (spring-autumn-winter period), this tour will be carried out without a boat, by road, as the “Budva Coast, Sveti Stefan, Petrovac, and Stari Bar Tour.” Those who wish may join an optional afternoon tour for an additional 110 euros: Lake Skadar Boat Tour, Montenegro’s Former Royal Capital Cetinje, and Dinner at a National Restaurant. On this tour, we first head to the charming town of Virpazar, where we will see Lake Skadar. In Virpazar, we take a pleasant boat trip in the Skadar Lake National Park. On the boat, you will have the chance to taste Montenegro’s famous wines. It will also be a wonderful privilege to see pelicans on the lake, which is the largest in the Balkans and home to around 250 different bird species. After the boat tour on the lake, we explore Cetinje, Montenegro’s former royal capital. On our panoramic tour, the places we will see include the former Turkish Consulate, the Small Cetinje Square, King Nikola’s House, and the historic Serbian Orthodox monastery. Dinner will be served at one of Montenegro’s famous national and local restaurants at sunset. Overnight stay at our hotel.
Budva–Podgorica–Ankara
After breakfast, we depart for Podgorica Airport. Following baggage and ticket procedures, we will board Pegasus Airlines’ scheduled flight and depart for Ankara at ***. Arrival at Ankara Esenboğa Airport at *** local time, and the end of our tour.
