Ammán
We arrive at the airport at 02:15 local time and go to our hotel to rest. After breakfast, we set off for our Amman city tour. We begin our tour in Amman, the modern capital of Jordan, which, like Rome in history, was built on 7 hills and today has expanded to cover at least 19 hills. In this city of contrasts, where the modern and the old blend together, we will see the Roman Theater, which still has a capacity of six thousand people and is used for cultural and artistic events, Amman Citadel, located on one of the 7 hills that make up Amman, and the Umayyad Palace, consisting of ancient city ruins. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel. Accommodation and free time.
Amman Dead Sea - Madaba - Mount Nebo - Amman
We depart after breakfast for our Dead Sea, Mount Nebo, and Madaba lunch tour. On this tour, we will visit Mount Nebo, believed to be the place where Prophet Moses first saw the Promised Land. Next, we will explore Madaba, famous for its mosaics and where the Holy Land can be seen from a distance. We then continue along the Arava Valley toward the world’s lowest point, descending to about 410 meters below sea level (approximately 1,306 meters from sea level) at the Dead Sea. Due to the high salt content of its water, which does not allow any living thing to survive, the Dead Sea is also known as the Salt Sea. We will enjoy a swimming experience in the Dead Sea. Overnight accommodation will be at our hotel in Amman.
Amman – Aqaba
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Aqaba. Upon arrival in Aqaba, we will take a city tour. Afterwards, depending on the weather, we will take an optional boat tour. Overnight stay at our hotel in Aqaba.
Aqaba – Petra – Wadi Rum-Aqaba
Departure for our Petra and Wadi Rum dinner tour. On this tour, we begin our visit to the ancient city of Petra, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and was chosen as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Petra served as the capital of the Nabataean Kingdom between 400 BC and AD 106. Also known as the “Pink City” because of the colors of its pink, red, yellow, and orange rocks, we will see Al-Khazneh (the Treasury), the Roman theater, and the Royal Tombs, after which you will have free time for lunch. Then we head to Wadi Rum. In this timeless place, where we will see pink sand and unique natural formations across an area of 74,000 hectares, we will take a safari tour in 4x4 safari vehicles. After watching the sunset here and having dinner, we return to Aqaba.
