Tour Program
Istanbul – Naples – Pompeii and City Tour
Meeting with our valued guests at 03:30 at the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After baggage drop-off, passport control, and check-in procedures, we will depart for Naples on Turkish Airlines flight TK1453 at 07:05. Arrival in Naples is scheduled for 08:25 local time. From there, we will proceed to Pompeii by our waiting vehicle. Once one of the largest cities of the Mediterranean during the Roman Empire, Pompeii was buried under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius; thanks to ongoing excavations spanning two centuries, it has become one of the world's largest open-air museums. In Pompeii, you will stroll through its streets, discover the civilization of that era, and have the opportunity to see human remains preserved beneath the volcanic ash, with many structures from the Roman period still standing intact. Following the tour, we will head to central Naples. As a city nestled at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, birthplace of Neapolitan songs, home of Italian pizza, and a quintessential Mediterranean town, Naples will be explored via a panoramic bus tour. Highlights include the city's upscale neighborhoods, Enrico Caruso's former residence, the Royal Castle, and the Santa Lucia waterfront. A photo stop will be made on Vomero Hill. At the end of the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Naples for an overnight stay.
Sorrento – Positano – Amalfi
After breakfast, we begin our full-day tour at the time previously indicated by our guide. Our first stop is Sorrento, a charming southern city renowned for its vibrant colors, as the birthplace of poet Torquato Tasso, the homeland of mermaids, and famous for its lemon and orange groves. In the 1920s, Sorrento also hosted the renowned Soviet writer Maxim Gorky; it remains a quaint destination where kindness and hospitality thrive, and traditions are passed down from generation to generation. Following our tour of Sorrento, we head toward the Amalfi Coast, one of the most beautiful coastal stretches in the world. By bus, we visit Positano first, then explore the Amalfi coastline. Amalfi, the capital of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi, was a major trading hub between 800 and 1200 AD. Located on the Gulf of Salerno, 35 km south of Naples, the city of Amalfi was a popular destination for British aristocrats and wealthy individuals during the 1920s and 1930s. Today, along with Positano, Ravello, and other towns along the coast, it remains a significant tourist destination. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel in Naples for an overnight stay.
Capri Island
After breakfast, we begin our full-day excursion at the time previously indicated by our guide. Following a quick ferry ride, we arrive at the legendary island of Capri. Highlights of Capri include the town of Capri located above the harbor, the village of Anacapri at the highest point of the hill, the Gardens of Augustus, and the main shopping street. Guests who wish may take the cable car from Anacapri to the island's highest peak to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. After this full-day island experience, characterized by Capri's turquoise coves, narrow stone streets, and lush greenery, we return to Naples. At the end of the tour, we transfer back to our hotel in Naples for an overnight stay.
Naples – Istanbul
After breakfast, we will complete our hotel check-out procedures and depart for the airport at the time specified by our guide. Following ticket and baggage procedures, we will board Turkish Airlines flight TK1464 from Naples to Istanbul at 15:45. Arrival in Istanbul is scheduled for 19:05, marking the end of our tour. We look forward to meeting you again on our next trip.
