DAY 01: ISTANBUL AIRPORT – CATANIA – ETNA
We meet our valued guests at 04:15 in front of the THY international departures F counter (counters 1-27) by entering through gate 3 at Istanbul Airport and complete the check-in procedures. Departure to Catania at 08:10 with THY flight TK1393. Arrival in Catania at 08:35 local time. We take our panoramic tour with the vehicle waiting for us. Then we begin our Etna tour. While heading toward Etna, we have the chance to take magnificent photos of Mount Etna, which welcomes us with its vegetation and scenery. Along the way, we will see Silvestri, the second crater at an altitude of 1800 meters, on Etna, Europe’s highest active volcanic mountain. Don’t forget to pick up some of the smoking rocks as a souvenir! Our tour, accompanied by many scenic photo opportunities in the area formed by the lava of Mount Etna, will end here. Then we return to our hotel.

DAY 02: SAVOCA – TAORMINA – GIARDINI NAXOS – CATANIA
After breakfast, we start our full-day excursion at the time previously determined by our guide. On our Savoca, Taormina, and Giardini Naxos tour, we will see the places where the world-famous movie “The Godfather” was filmed. Then Bar Vitelli and San Michele Church are among the places we will see. After passing through movie-like streets, we head to Taormina, the pearl of the Ionian Sea and the most beautiful coastal city of Sicily. We visit this charming town, located at the foot of Mount Tauro, with its streets, souvenir shops, and avenues. Then we move on to Giardini Naxos, famous for its captivating volcanic beach and colorful streets. In this cultural mosaic, where Greeks settled in the 6th century BC and later Phoenicians and Romans lived, you can take magnificent photos. At the end of the tour, return to our hotel.

After breakfast, we leave the hotel for our full-day Syracuse tour. In Syracuse, the city where the famous mathematician Archimedes lived, we see the Fountain of Arethusa, the Cathedral, the Fountain of Diana, and the Temple of Apollo. Then we return to Catania. Among the places we will see panoramically in the city center of Catania are Duomo Cathedral, Fontana dell’Elefante, Republic Square (Piazza Repubblica), and Etna Street. After free time, transfer to our hotel.
After breakfast, we leave the hotel for our full-day Syracuse tour. After breakfast, we hand in the room keys at reception, check out, and head to Catania Airport. Departure to Malta at 07:35 with Air Malta flight KM641, arrival at 08:15. After hotel check-in, we begin our Gozo tour accompanied by your guide. We cross to Gozo Island by ferry from Cirkewwa Harbor. In Gozo, which offers peace with its green nature, we visit Dwejra, which has hosted films such as Troy, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones, and then T’Pino Church, a place of pilgrimage. We will have the chance to taste local products such as honey, carob, liqueur, and cheese. Later, free time in the fishing village of Xelendi. In Victoria Rabat, we see St. George’s Basilica and walk through the streets. At the end of the tour, return to Malta from Mgarr Harbor and transfer to our hotel.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the bus with our luggage. Our full-day tour begins. We visit the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Mosta, which has the third-largest dome in Europe. Then we move on to Mdina, where some scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed. After seeing historical structures such as the Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the Carmelite Church, we stop at Fontanella Cafe. Later, we explore the capital, Valletta. The final stop is Marsaxlokk Fishing Village. We spend a pleasant time among the colorful boats and lively market. Then transfer to the airport and departure to Istanbul at 19:15 with THY flight TK1372. Arrival at 22:45 and end of our tour.
