Rome Masterpieces & Night Tour

On this tour; the places you can see include the Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus, Palace of Justice, Navona Square, Fountain of the Four Rivers, Italian Senate Building, and the Pantheon.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the start of the tour. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years. 

In destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will forward to you for the visa application.

HEALTH

We do not expect to encounter any issue that would threaten your health with meals taken at good restaurants and hotels in the region. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about eating and drinking, absolutely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk, and dairy products, and eat meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, eat fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapple. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entry points and upon return home.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and there is no obligation to participate. If the required number is not met, the excursions cannot be held, or the optional tour/activity prices, content, and vehicle to be used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums, ruins, or venue at the destinations and weather conditions. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entry points and upon return home.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated km. 

3-person rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed provided to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable beds and coach beds, participants making 3rd person and/or child reservations are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the type of bed. 

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts included among the services in the tour program are served at the hotel in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited, usually with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

TIME ZONE

Italy is 2 hours behind Turkey in summer time and 1 hour behind in winter time.

For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 17:30 in Italy.

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS

If you are going in the summer season, we recommend that you bring a t-shirt that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton pants, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a light sweater for the evenings.  In addition; you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothing that will keep you warm and allow you to move comfortably.

FOOD CULTURE

The Italian cuisine, which varies by region, is among the richest cuisines in the world thanks to the contribution of Mediterranean influences. It offers a wide range of options, from snacks prepared with fresh tomatoes, greens, and country-specific cheeses, to pizzas of exquisite flavor, to pastas made with various sauces, and seafood.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or obtaining a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be permitted. The passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current tour and flight. The agency is obliged to inform such changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees. 

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of no more than 2-3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically from the vehicle with guide commentary, without museum or archaeological site entrance fees. Panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of the agency if they cannot take place on the day and time corresponding to the tour because local authorities do not allow visits or entry, or due to closed roads because of any event, and likewise in cases where the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may, where possible, be conducted by public transport or on foot at points where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Venice
Meeting with your guide at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After baggage check-in and ticketing procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter, departure to Venice on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, completion of passport and baggage procedures. Transfer to the historic peninsula of Venice by vaporetto. During the city tour, the places to be seen include St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, the Grand Canal, the Rialto Bridge, the Clock Tower, and the Campanile. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Venice - Bologna - Florence
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the Bologna tour. During our Bologna tour, we will see Neptune’s Fountain, Piazza Maggiore (the Grand Square), the Old Stock Exchange Building, the first university building in Europe, Quadrilatero (the old market), and the Garisenda and Asinelli Towers. After the tour, we head to Florence. Upon arrival, we set out for a panoramic city tour of Florence. On our tour, the Arno River, which divides Florence into two, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza della Signoria, home to the statues of Hercules and David, the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, which has the third-highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery, famous for its doors, are among the places to be seen. After concluding our tour with a photo stop at Michelangelo Hill, where we can enjoy views of the entire city and the Arno River, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Florence - Siena - San Gimignano - Pisa - Florence
After breakfast at our hotel, we will carry out the Siena & San Gimignano & Pisa tour. First, we will depart for Siena for our tour. During our city tour in Siena, this UNESCO World Cultural Heritage city will take you centuries back in time. Among the places to be seen are the San Domenico Church, the Duomo Cathedral, Piazza del Campo where the Palio races are held, the famous Palazzo del Popolo, now used as the City Hall, and the narrow streets that still reflect all traces of the past. Afterwards, we visit San Gimignano, which reflects the magic of the Middle Ages with the walls and towers surrounding the city, and is therefore known as the Manhattan of the Middle Ages. Then we head to Pisa. After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Miracle Square during our tour, we transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Florence - Rome
After breakfast at our hotel, we head to Rome. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Rome. Places to be seen include Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned and which is considered the center of Christianity; Venice Square and the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, where Mussolini addressed the public; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator fights; the Fountain of Love, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; and the Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps and home to the Barcaccia Fountain. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and provide free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome - Castel Gandolfo - Nemi - Castel Romano - Rome
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the Lakes District & Castel Romano Shopping Tour. Our first stop is Castel Gandolfo, where we will see the Pope’s summer residence and the magnificent view of Lake Albano. After arriving in Nemi Village, our next stop, we will take a pleasant walk through the village. Following the walk, there will be a short free time to taste Nemi Village’s famous wild strawberry tart and shop. Upon arrival at Castel Romano Outlet, Italy’s most famous outlet, there will be free time. At the end of our tour, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome - Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, you will have free time until the time indicated by your guide. Then we transfer to the airport. Following baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we depart for Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines scheduled flight and arrive. With our arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
