DAY 01. SABİHA GÖKÇEN AIRPORT – HURGHADA – LUXOR
We meet at the International Departures Terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 21:00’de (the meeting will take place on the night of Sunday, January 24). We complete our check-in procedures and then depart for Hurghada at 01:20 on Pegasus Airlines flight PC624. Arrival in Hurghada at 03:00 local time. Upon arrival, we depart by our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport and head to the restaurant where we will have breakfast to start the day refreshed. After breakfast at the local restaurant, we depart from Hurghada to board our ship in Luxor. Following the check-in procedures, we leave the ship to visit the Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt. After visiting the Karnak Temple, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is the largest ancient structure ever built in the world, we transfer back to the ship for lunch. After lunch, we will visit the Luxor Temple, built in Luxor, home to the world’s largest open-air museum, by the 9th Pharaoh in honor of Amun, the greatest of the ancient Egyptian gods. After our temple visit, which resembles an open-air museum, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 02. LUXOR – ESNA – EDFU
After breakfast, we depart for our Valley of the Kings tour. After visiting the royal tombs, we will also see the Temple of Hatshepsut, built in memory of Hatshepsut, the first female pharaoh. After visiting Hatshepsut, the oldest of the mortuary temples belonging to Queen Hatshepsut, we return to our ship and have lunch. The ship will depart for Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 03. EDFU – KOM OMBO – ASWAN
After breakfast, we will visit the Temple of Edfu, the Temple of the falcon-headed Horus, completed in 57 BC. We will depart for Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. After the meal, we visit the Temple of Kom Ombo on the banks of the Nile, the Temple of the Crocodile and Falcon Gods. The reliefs inside Kom Ombo, the only temple shared by two gods, Horus, the god of goodness, and Sobek, the god of evil, were later erased by the Copts, who used the temple as a church. The temple was damaged by the flooding of the Nile and earthquakes, and its stones were used in other constructions. Departure for Aswan. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 04. ASWAN – ABU SIMBEL – ASWAN
Today we will have an early breakfast in the form of a packed meal. We depart for Abu Simbel in our private vehicle. Upon arrival, we visit the magnificent Abu Simbel Temple. This temple was commissioned by Pharaoh Ramses II in southern Egypt to demonstrate his power to his enemies and to express his love for his wife Nefertari. Carved into the interior of Mount Simbel, the temple was relocated after 6 years of work led by UNESCO to protect it from the danger of being submerged during the construction of the Aswan Dam. Following this fascinating visit, we return to Aswan in our private vehicle. Upon arrival in Aswan, we board our ship and have lunch on board. After lunch, we continue our tour with the Philae Temple, dismantled and moved to Agilkia Island במסגרת the UNESCO Nubia Project before the construction of the dam. After the tour, transfer to the ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 05. CAIRO
After breakfast, we complete our disembarkation procedures. We transfer to the airport in our private vehicle waiting for us for the Aswan–Cairo flight for our “Giza Pyramids Tour.” Our first stop will be the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, named after the pharaohs who commissioned them. These 3 pyramids, built thousands of years ago and still preserving their mysteries, were designed so that a Pythagorean triangle would be formed between them. Built years before Pythagoras, these pyramids demonstrate that the Egyptians possessed highly advanced knowledge of mathematics and geometry. After visiting the mysterious pyramids, we will see the Sphinx, with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, representing the rising sun and rebirth for the pharaoh. After visiting the “living statue” Sphinx, which has a temple between its paws, we will have lunch. After the meal, we will visit a workshop producing handmade papyrus paper made from Egypt’s famous papyrus plant. Following the workshop visit, we will visit the Saqqara Pyramid, also known as the Step Pyramid, located in Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. After visiting the Saqqara Pyramid, regarded as the first great monument made of stone in the world, we return to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 06. CAIRO
After breakfast, we will visit the old city center of Egypt, one of the oldest civilizations with a 7,000-year history, the citadel newly built by Saladin against the Crusades, the Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha, the Ottoman governor, and the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. After having lunch at a local restaurant during our tour, we will go to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which opened ceremoniously on November 1, 2025. The museum offers a collection of 50,000 artifacts spanning from prehistoric times to the present day, and also displays the personal belongings of Pharaoh Tutankhamun in their entirety. At the end of the tours, free time will be given for you to explore the city as you wish. We meet at the time determined by our guide and transfer to the airport. After passport and baggage procedures, rest until our flight time.
DAY 07. CAIRO – SABİHA GÖKÇEN AIRPORT
In the early hours of the new day, we depart for Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen at 03:05 on Pegasus Airlines flight PC583. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 06:20 local time. End of our tour
