DAY 1                 ISTANBUL – BOLOGNA – ROME

Meeting with our valued guests 3 hours before the flight time in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Following the baggage and ticket procedures, flight to Bologna with a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we depart for the transfer to Rome. Upon arrival at the hotel, room allocation and free time to rest. Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 2                 ROME

Free time after breakfast at the hotel. Our guests who wish may join the Rome Wonders & Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour (130€ per person), which will be organized additionally by our guide. During our tour, the places to be seen include Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned; Piazza Venezia, where Mussolini addressed the public, and the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator fights; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps and the Barcaccia Fountain. Afterwards, our next stop is the region featuring natural beauty where the Popes lived during the summer, and after visiting the village of Nemi, famous for its wild strawberries and a place you will wish to live in permanently, free time for shopping at Italy’s most famous shopping destination, Castel Romano Outlet. We then depart for St. Peter’s Square, considered the center of Christianity. After arrival, free time to visit the Basilica and the Square. Our guests who wish may join the Rome by Night Tour (35€ per person), which will be organized additionally by our guide. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 3                 ROME

Free time after breakfast. Our guests who wish may join the Naples & Sorrento Tour (105€ per person), which will be organized additionally by our guide. The first stop of our tour is Naples. The places to be seen include Piazza del Plebiscito, the central square of Naples; the Royal Palace, built in the 17th century; Castel Nuovo (New Castle); the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, modeled after St. Peter’s Square and the Pantheon in Rome; Galleria Umberto I, home to numerous shops; Teatro di San Carlo, built in 1737 and included on the UNESCO World Heritage list; and the Port of Naples. Our next stop is Sorrento, one of Italy’s most romantic cities. You may be captivated by Sorrento’s lush streets and flower-filled squares. Transfer to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 4                 ROME – FLORENCE

After breakfast, we depart for Florence. Along the route, there is an opportunity to join the Orvieto Tour (40€ per person), which will be organized additionally by our guide. Our next stop is Orvieto. After seeing the ancient city center and Orvieto Duomo in Orvieto, which holds an important place in Italy’s artistic and general history and boasts extraordinary natural beauty, we depart for our hotel in Montecatini. Free time upon arrival at the hotel. Our guests who wish may join the Florence in the Footsteps of the Renaissance Tour (45€ per person), which will be organized additionally by our guide. During our tour, the places to be seen include the Arno River, which divides Florence in two; Ponte Vecchio, famous for its jewelers; Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence; Piazza della Signoria, home to the Hercules and David statues, masterpieces of the Renaissance; Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, which has Italy’s third-highest dome; and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. Transfer to our hotel at the end of the tour. Overnight at our hotel.

 

 

DAY 5                 FLORENCE

Our guests who wish may join the Tuscany Tour (120€ per person), which will be organized additionally by our guide. After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which has become a symbol of Italy, and Piazza dei Miracoli right next to it in Pisa, the first stop of our tour, we set off for San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel as though you are in the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and Cisterna Square. After our tour, we depart for Siena. Siena has a total of 17 districts, where neighborhood culture is strongly evident. Piazza del Campo, where the Palio horse races are held with the participation of the districts; the unfinished Siena Duomo; and the city’s narrow streets are among the places to be seen during our Siena city tour. Transfer to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 6                 FLORENCE – MILAN

After breakfast, we depart for Milan, but before that, there is an opportunity to join the Bologna Tour (35€ per person), which will be organized additionally by our guide along the route. During our Bologna city tour, the places to be seen include Piazza Maggiore (Main Square), considered the center of Bologna; the Fountain of Neptune, located just behind the square; the Old Stock Exchange Building; Europe’s first university building; Quadrilatero (the old market); and the Garisenda and Asinelli Towers, which have become symbols of Bologna. After our tour, we depart for Milan. Our guests who wish may join the Como Tour (40€ per person), which will be organized additionally by our guide. Located only 45 minutes from Milan, Lake Como is a calm, narrow and long lake nestled at the foot of the Alps and shaped by glacial erosion. In Como, which offers beautiful views of the affluent and charming towns of Como and Lecco both above and below the Alps, Piazza Cavour and the Duomo dating from the 14th century are among the places we will see. After our tour, we continue our journey to Milan. Following our arrival, a panoramic Milan city tour. During our tour, the places to be seen include Milan Duomo, Italy’s second-largest church, whose construction took approximately 500 years; the Fortezza castle; and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, home to the world’s most famous fashion stores. Free time after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 7                 MILAN – VENICE

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Venice. Our guests who wish may join the Verona & Garda Tour (60€ per person), which will be organized by our guide as an additional tour along the route. During our tour, the places to be seen include the house of Romeo & Juliet, the subject of history’s greatest love story; Verona Arena; the Scaligero Bridge, featuring distinctive architecture; and Verona Cathedral. After our Verona tour, we will visit Lake Garda, one of the most beautiful lakes in Northern Italy. After our tour, transfer to the Venice hotel and free time. Our guests who wish may join the Floating City Venice Tour (60€ per person), which will be organized additionally by our guide. After arriving at Tronchetto Square, we take a short boat ride to St. Mark’s Square, followed by a panoramic city tour. During our city tour, the places to be seen include the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica; the Bridge of Sighs, from which prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering prison; the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge over it; the Doge’s Palace; the Bell and Clock Towers; and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. Free time and transfer to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 8                 VENICE – BOLOGNA – ISTANBUL   

After breakfast, transfer to Bologna Airport depending on the flight time. Following completion of the baggage and check-in procedures, departure for Istanbul on a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Arrival in Istanbul and the end of our tour.
