Istanbul Airport – Bologna – Florence
We will meet our valued guests at 04:00 at the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After baggage drop, passport control, and check-in procedures, we will depart for Bologna on Turkish Airlines flight TK1321 at 07:50. We arrive in Bologna at 09:30 local time. From there, we will proceed to Florence with our waiting vehicle. During our city tour of Florence, known for its historic buildings, masterpieces of art, and atmosphere steeped in culture, we will visit the Arno River that divides the city, Ponte Vecchio—the 14th-century bridge lined with jewelry shops—Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral in Piazza del Duomo, the Gothic bell tower, the Baptistery with its famous "Gates of Paradise" (the East Gates), Santa Croce Basilica, resting place of renowned figures such as Michelangelo, Machiavelli, and Galileo, the Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria, the Neptune Fountain in the square, the statue of David, and the historic courtyard reminiscent of an open-air museum. After the tour concludes, we will head to our hotel in Tuscany.
Pisa – San Gimignano – Siena
After breakfast, we begin our full-day tour at the time specified by our guide. Our first stop is Pisa. Upon arrival in the city, we visit the Baptistry, Cathedral, and the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, all situated on the lush green lawns of the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles). Guests who wish may climb the 56-meter-high tower to enjoy the panoramic views. Next, we head to San Gimignano. This medieval town, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and known as the "City of Beautiful Towers," offers a walking tour past significant landmarks including Porta San Giovanni, Piazza della Cisterna, Piazza del Duomo, Palazzo del Popolo, and the Podestà Palace. From San Gimignano, we proceed to Siena. Famous for its earth-toned labyrinthine streets and enchanting atmosphere, this city features must-see sites such as Piazza del Campo, where the Palio horse races are held, the Fontana Gaia, Torre del Mangia, and the Duomo Cathedral, renowned for its black-and-white marble façade. The day concludes with a return to our hotel.
Montepulciano – Montalcino
After breakfast, we begin our full-day tour. Our first stop is Montepulciano, a city founded by the Etruscans in 308 BC and renowned for its wines. Its main street stretches 1.5 kilometers from Porta al Prato to Piazza Grande. We will visit key landmarks including Palazzo Comunale, Santa Maria Cathedral, and the historic city walls. Next, we head to a historic wine cellar where we will explore the region's deep winemaking traditions and enjoy an exclusive tasting of some of the area's finest wines. After the tour, we travel to Montalcino, famous for its Brunello wines. Following a visit to the historic castle and the town center, we return to our hotel.
Bologna – Istanbul
After breakfast, we complete our hotel check-out procedures and depart for Bologna at the time specified by our guide. Following a journey of approximately two hours, upon arrival we begin our city tour. In Bologna, with history dating back to the 6th century BC, notable sights include Piazza Maggiore, Palazzo di Accursio, Palazzo Podestà, Basilica di San Petronio, and the Garisenda and Asinelli Towers. After the tour, we transfer to the airport. Following ticket and baggage procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1324 at 15:25. We arrive in Istanbul at 19:05, marking the end of our tour. We look forward to meeting you again on our next tour.
