PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the date of return and not older than 10 years. 

In destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you for the visa application.

HEALTH

We do not think that there will be any health-threatening issues with the meals to be taken at the region's good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, and eat meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked; for fruit, eat fruits that can be peeled, such as bananas and pineapples. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed upon entry to the country and upon return home.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and Activities are organized by the local agency we receive service from, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and there is no obligation to participate. If the required number is not reached, the tours may not take place, or the optional tour / activity prices, content, and the vehicle to be used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the optional tours / activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums, ruins, or venue to be visited and the weather conditions. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed upon entry to the country and upon return home.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the specified km. 

3-person rooms may be allocated depending on the availability of the hotels, and the bed provided for the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since the extra beds are folding or coach beds, participants booking for a 3rd person and/or child are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped space in the rooms and the type of bed. 

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts received at the hotel among the services included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country being visited and generally with a limited menu, called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

TIME ZONE

Italy is 2 hours behind Turkey in summer time and 1 hour behind in winter time.

For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 17:30 in Italy.

CLOTHING AND REQUIRED ITEMS

If you are going in the summer season, we recommend that you bring t-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton pants, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a light sweater for the evenings.  In addition, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keep you warm.

FOOD CULTURE

Italian cuisine, which shows differences according to regions, is among the richest cuisines in the world with the contribution of Mediterranean influences. From snacks prepared with fresh tomatoes, greens, and country-specific cheeses, to delicious pizzas, pasta made with all kinds of sauces, and seafood, it offers a wide range of options.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for a destination/passport requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed. The passport police have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. Delays may occur on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current tour and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children between 0-2 years of age do not pay airport tax and airport service fees. 

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of up to 2-3 hours organized for the general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary, without museum or historical site entrances. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of the agency if they cannot be carried out on the day and time of the tour due to roads closed by local authorities, places not permitted to be visited or entered, or any event, or when the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be carried out by public transportation or on foot where feasible at closed roads or points where vehicle access is not allowed.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Venice
After meeting your guide at the New Airport International Terminal, you will complete your baggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter and then depart for Venice on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival in Venice, after completing passport and baggage procedures, we begin our journey to the city of Venice. After arrival, following our transfer to the historic peninsula by vaporetto, the city tour will include the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering prison, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge on it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell Tower and Clock Tower, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Venice - Bologna - Florence
After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for the Bologna tour. During our Bologna tour, we will see Neptune’s Fountain, Piazza Maggiore (the Great Square), the Old Stock Exchange Building, Europe’s first university building, Quadrilatero (the old market), and the Garisenda and Asinelli towers. After the tour, we will head to Florence. Upon arrival, we will proceed with a panoramic city tour of Florence. On our tour, we will see the Arno River, which divides Florence into two, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza della Signoria, home to the statues of Hercules and David, Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral with the third highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. We will conclude our tour with a photo stop at Michelangelo Hill, where we can enjoy views of the entire city and the Arno River, and then transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Florence - Siena & San Gimignano & Pisa
After breakfast at our hotel, we will have free time. Guests who wish may join our guide’s optional Siena & San Gimignano & Pisa tour (95 EUR). For our tour, we first depart for Siena. During our city tour in Siena, this UNESCO World Heritage city will take you back centuries in time. The San Domenico Church, Siena Cathedral, Piazza del Campo where the Palio horse races are held, the famous Palazzo del Popolo, now used as the City Hall, and the narrow streets that still reflect all the traces of the past are among the places to see. Afterwards, we visit San Gimignano, which reflects the magic of the Middle Ages with its surrounding walls and towers, and is therefore called the Manhattan of the Middle Ages. Then we depart for Pisa. On our tour, after seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Miracle Square, we transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Florence - Rome
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Rome. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour of Rome. Among the sights to be seen are Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned and which is considered the center of Christianity; Venice Square, where Mussolini addressed the public, and the Victor Emmanuel II Monument; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator fights; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; and the Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps and featuring the “sunken ship” fountain. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and give free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome - Lakes District & Castel Romano - Roman Masterpieces & Night Tour
After breakfast at our hotel, we set off with guests who wish to join the optional Lakes Region & Castel Romano Shopping Tour (55 EUR), organized by our guide. Our first stop will be Castel Gandolfo, where we will see the Pope’s summer palace and the magnificent view of Lake Albano. After arriving in Nemi Village, our next stop, we will take a pleasant walk through the village. Following the walk, there will be a short free time for shopping and to taste Nemi Village’s famous wild strawberry tart. Upon arrival at Castel Romano Outlet, Italy’s most famous outlet, there will be free time. After the tour, we set off with guests who wish to join the optional Rome Masterpieces & Night Tour (80 EUR), organized by our guide. On this tour, the places we will see include the Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus, the Palace of Justice, Piazza Navona, the Fountain of the Four Rivers, the Italian Senate Building, and the Pantheon. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome - Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, free time until the time indicated by your guide. We will then transfer to the airport. After baggage, ticketing, and customs procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight and arrive. Upon arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
