PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This tour is arranged with a participation requirement of at least 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour start date. Tours canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years. 

In destinations where a visa is required, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you for the visa application.

HEALTH

We do not think you will encounter any health-threatening issues with meals taken in good restaurants and hotels in the region. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, eat fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapples. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entry and upon return to the home country.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we work with, subject to a minimum participation of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not reached, excursions may not be carried out, or the prices, content, and vehicle used for optional tours/activities may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on the open/closed status of the museums, ruins, or venue in the places to be visited and weather conditions. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entry and upon return to the home country.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a distance greater than the stated km. 

3-person rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed provided for the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or called coach beds, participants booking as the 3rd person and/or child are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the room and the bed type. 

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts included in the tour program that are taken at the hotel are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country and generally as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.

TIME ZONE

Italy is 2 hours behind Turkey in summer time and 1 hour behind in winter time.

For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 17:30 in Italy.

CLOTHING AND REQUIRED ITEMS

If you are going in the summer season, we recommend that you bring t-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a light sweater for the evenings.  In addition; you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, camera, video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keep you warm.

FOOD CULTURE

Italian cuisine, which varies by region, is among the richest cuisines in the world thanks to Mediterranean influences. It offers a wide range of options, from snacks prepared with fresh tomatoes, greens, and country-specific cheeses, to pizzas with marvelous flavors, pasta made with a variety of sauces, and seafood.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for visa-required destination/passport) does not mean that you can enter the country. The passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport services fees. 

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide narration and not including museum or historical site entrances. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of the agency if they cannot be carried out on the day and time coinciding with the tour due to restrictions by local authorities on sightseeing or entry, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may, where possible, be carried out by public transport or on foot at points where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Venice
Meeting with your guide at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After baggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter, we depart for Venice on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival and after completing passport and baggage procedures, we will undertake a panoramic Venice city tour. After crossing to the historic peninsula by vaporetto, during our city tour we will panoramically view San Marco Square, the main and most famous square of Venice; St. Mark’s Basilica, known as the “Golden Church” and one of the most magnificent examples of Byzantine architecture in the world; the Bridge of Sighs, from which prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering prison; the Grand Canal; the Rialto Bridge, built over the Grand Canal with its elegant arched structure; Palazzo Ducale, which served for centuries as the political, administrative, and judicial heart of the Venetian Republic; the Bell Tower and the Clock Tower; and San Giorgio Maggiore Church, designed by Andrea Palladio, one of the most brilliant architects of the Renaissance, in the late 16th century. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Venice - Florence
After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our transfer to Florence. Upon arrival in Florence, we proceed with the Panoramic Florence City Tour. During the city tour, we will panoramicly see the Arno River, which passes through the heart of Florence and divides the city in two; Ponte Vecchio, known as the “Old Bridge” and one of the city’s most photographed historical landmarks; Palazzo Vecchio, the city’s most magnificent administrative center and historic palace located in Piazza della Signoria; Piazza della Signoria, Florence’s most famous square; the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, one of the greatest masterpieces in world history; and the historic St. John’s Baptistery, which houses the famous doors described by Michelangelo as the “Gates of Paradise,” the result of 27 years of labor. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Florence - Pisa - Siena - San Gimignano - Florence
After breakfast at the hotel, free time for the entire day. Guests who wish may join the optional Siena & San Gimignano & Pisa Tour (95 Euro), organized by our guide. For our tour, we first depart for Siena. During our city tour in Siena, this UNESCO World Cultural Heritage city will take you back centuries in time. The Church of San Domenico, which houses sacred relics, the Duomo Cathedral, Piazza del Campo where the Palio races are held, the famous Palazzo del Popolo, now used as the City Hall, and the narrow streets that still reflect all the traces of the past are among the places to see. Afterwards, we visit San Gimignano, which reflects the magic of the Middle Ages with the walls and towers surrounding the city, and is therefore known as the Manhattan of the Middle Ages. We then depart for the Pisa Tour. During our excursion, the world-famous Pisa Tower, known for its remarkable tilt, and Miracoli Square will be among the places to see. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Florence - Lake Bolsena - Civita di Bagnoregio - Orvieto - Rome
After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for Rome. Before arriving in Florence, we will take the Bolsena & Civita di Bagnoregio & Orvieto Tour from the Shores of Lake Bolsena to the Slopes. Our first stop is Bolsena. Bolsena is a peaceful lakeside town that has fully preserved its medieval texture. In this town, we will take a short but enjoyable walking tour. During our walk, we will also see the deep blue Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe, formed when a volcanic crater filled with water. Then we transfer to Bagnoregio. In this town, we will visit Civita di Bagnoregio, which was founded by the Etruscans about 2,500 years ago and looks as if it came out of a fairytale. The only access to the town is a pedestrian bridge of approximately 500–1000 meters starting from Bagnoregio. Because access is limited, the town has remarkably preserved its medieval atmosphere from the past to the present day. Our next stop is Orvieto. In Orvieto, which holds a distinguished place in Europe’s rich architectural and cultural heritage and is integrated with a striking geographical setting, the places we will see include Orvieto Cathedral, Monastero di San Bernardino, and the city square. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome – City Tour – Outlet – Rome
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the Panoramic Rome City Tour & Outlet Shopping Tour. Among the places we will see are Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned and which is considered the center of Christianity; Piazza Venezia, where Mussolini addressed the public; the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, built in memory of the first ruler of the Kingdom of Italy; the Colosseum, whose construction began in 72 AD under Emperor Vespasian and which became the Roman ժողովրդի’s most important entertainment center for 450 years and hosted the famous gladiator fights; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; and the Spanish Steps, which consist of 135 steps and feature the Barcaccia Fountain. After our panoramic tour, we head to one of Italy’s most famous outlets. There will be free time at the outlet, where you can shop at discounted prices from various brands. At the end of our free time at the outlet, we transfer back to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome – Naples – Sorrento – Rome
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Mediterranean Pearl Naples & Sorrento Tour (90 Euro), organized by our guide. The first stop of our tour is Naples, the capital of Italy’s Campania region. Our first visit in Naples will be the Palazzo Reale di Napoli, the Royal Palace, which sheds light on the centuries-old aristocratic history of the Bourbon dynasty. Next, we will see the Teatro di San Carlo, located right next to the Royal Palace, a masterpiece known as the oldest active opera house in the world that has operated continuously. Inspired by Milan’s famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Galleria Umberto I, known for its mosaic architecture, lively atmosphere, and cafés, the Basilica di San Francesco di Paola, commissioned to celebrate the kingdom’s restoration after Napoleon’s invasion and as an expression of gratitude, the Piazza del Plebiscito, which is completely closed to vehicle traffic and offers visitors a sense of great openness after the city’s chaotic, narrow, and lively streets, and the historic medieval castle Castel Nuovo, standing magnificently near Piazza Municipio, are among the places we will see. Our next stop on the tour is the city of Sorrento, built on steep cliffs overlooking the Bay of Naples and reflecting the spirit of the Mediterranean with its fragrant lemon groves and rich history. In this charming coastal town, we will take a short walk and experience the deep blue sea, nature, and its calm, delightful streets. After our wonderful walking tour, we return to our hotel in Rome and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome - Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, we transfer to the airport. Following baggage, ticketing, and customs procedures, we depart for Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight and arrive. With our arrival, the tour and our services come to an end.
