If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days prior to the tour start date. Tours cancelled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and must not be older than 10 years.

In destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made using the documents specified in the "Documents Required for Visa" list provided by your agency.

 

To avoid issues with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or otherwise damaged passports; such passports must be renewed, and if the destination country requires a visa for Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be on the new passport. In case of non-compliance, responsibility lies with the traveler.

 

Guests under 18 years old traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked by immigration officers to present a document showing joint parental consent. Therefore, we recommend that guests under 18 and their parents pay special attention to this matter.

 

HEALTH

There are no mandatory vaccinations for entry into the UK. We do not anticipate any health-threatening issues with meals taken at good restaurants and hotels in the region. However, when you are not with the group, we advise you to be careful with food and drink, strictly consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk, and dairy products, consume meat and fish products only if you are sure they are well-cooked, and eat fruits like bananas and pineapples whose peels can be removed.

Additionally, the dates and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums, historical sites, or venues are open/closed and weather conditions.

 

 

CURRENCY

The currency of the United Kingdom is the Pound Sterling (GBP). In major cities, places such as hotels and restaurants mostly accept Visa and Master Card. Credit card usage may be problematic in smaller locations. It is also advisable to carry some Pounds Sterling with you.

 

TIME ZONE

There is a 2-hour difference between Turkey and the United Kingdom.

CLOTHING AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS

We recommend bringing easily wearable t-shirts, short-sleeved and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a raincoat, a light jacket for evenings, and a thin sweater. Additionally, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards.

 

FOOD CULTURE

British cuisine is very close to European cuisine. Roast beef, Fish & Chips, English breakfast, sautéed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, and baked beans are the most famous dishes.

You can purchase souvenirs unique to the region. Shopping malls also feature stores of many famous brands.

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports where a visa is required) does not guarantee entry into the country. The passport officer has the authority to deny you entry. Bin Rota is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the traveler.

Tour Program
Istanbul – London
We meet at Istanbul Airport and, after completing baggage and ticket procedures, depart for London, the capital of the United Kingdom, on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we immediately begin our panoramic city tour to explore this magnificent metropolis where past and present intertwine. Highlights include the Tower of London, which has witnessed centuries of history; the elegant silhouette of Tower Bridge spanning the Thames; Hays Galleria along the riverbank; the London Dungeon, famous for its chilling tales; the iconic Big Ben; the grand Parliament Building; Buckingham Palace, the heart of the British Royal Family; the banks of the River Thames; and Piccadilly Circus with its vibrant atmosphere. After this enjoyable tour that introduces us to the general character of the city, guests will have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
London
After the breakfast included at our hotel, your day is free. Guests who wish may join an optional tour organized by our guide to London Eye & Thames River and British Museum (95 Euro). First, we enjoy breathtaking views of London from above aboard the giant observation wheel, London Eye, located on the banks of the Thames River. Next, we begin our boat cruise along the Thames, during which we have the opportunity to see landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul's Cathedral, and many other iconic buildings from the river. In the afternoon, we take a walking tour through Covent Garden, known as London's entertainment hub and famous for its restaurants, pubs, and shops, followed by some free time. Continuing our tour, we visit the British Museum, home to one of the world's richest collections, where we also have the chance to view artifacts originally taken from Turkey. After the visit, we stop by Trafalgar Square, the renowned Harrods department store, and Knightsbridge. At the end of the tour, we transfer back to our hotel for overnight stay.
London
After breakfast at the hotel, your day is free. Guests who wish may join our guide's optional Greenwich & Notting Hill tour (€60). We first head to Greenwich, located on the south bank of the River Thames and steeped in history. From a panoramic viewpoint, we admire the famous Royal Observatory, where the Prime Meridian passes; the legendary sailing ship Cutty Sark, which witnessed maritime history; and the National Maritime Museum. Our tour continues in the charming neighborhood of Notting Hill, known for its pastel-colored elegant houses and streets that have inspired numerous films. After a short walk through the area's quaint streets, you will have free time on Portobello Road, famous for its antique stalls and boutique shops. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.
London
After breakfast at the hotel, your day is free. Guests who wish may join our guide's optional tour to Oxford and Bicester Village Outlet (€75). We then head to Oxford, England's oldest university city. During the city tour, we view Oxford's historic colleges from the outside—one of the world's oldest educational institutions—and enjoy a pleasant walk through its stone-paved streets that resemble film sets. The Bodleian Library, one of the world's oldest libraries, and the Radcliffe Camera, with its distinctive cylindrical architecture and iconic status in the city, are among the highlights of our tour. After the city tour, guests have free time before we proceed to Bicester Village Outlet, a favorite destination for shopping enthusiasts. This stylish shopping village features world-renowned luxury brands offering year-round advantageous prices, providing ample free time for shopping. Following the tour, we return to London and transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
London – Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time to enjoy the city one last time until the transfer time set by your guide. At the designated meeting time, we will transfer to the airport. Following baggage and ticket procedures, our journey back to Istanbul begins on Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight. Upon arrival in Istanbul, our tour filled with beautiful memories comes to an end.
