Tour Program
Istanbul - Cairo
We depart from Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal, at the Turkish Airlines counter, after ticket, baggage, and boarding procedures, on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, we will be transferred to our hotel. After early check-in and settling into the hotel, there will be free time to rest. At the time determined by our guide, we will gather and leave the hotel with our private vehicle waiting for us for our panoramic city tour. During our panoramic Cairo city tour, the places we will see include the Old City Center, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Sadat’s Memorial Tomb, Baron Palace, Tahrir Square, the city center along the Nile, and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. At the end of the tour, after some free time, we will transfer back to our hotel. Those who wish may join the optional Dinner Cruise on the Nile River (95 USD), organized by our guide. After our cruise on the Nile River and dinner, where we will experience the magical atmosphere of Cairo and the Nile, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Cairo
After breakfast at our hotel, we will have free time. Those who wish may join our optional Lunch Included Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara and Memphis Tour (180 USD), organized by our guide. First, we head to the Saqqara Valley (Valley of the Dead), where the people of Memphis, the oldest capital of Egypt, were buried. After about a half-hour journey, we arrive in the city of Memphis, where we will see the statues of pharaohs, ancient temples, and the ruins of palaces. We visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, named after King Zoser, who belonged to the 3rd Dynasty and ruled Egypt in the 27th century BC, known as the first and largest stone structure built from stone blocks in Egyptian history. Afterwards, we will see the three pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, named after the pharaohs who built them. These three pyramids, built thousands of years ago and still keeping their mysteries, were designed in a way that forms a Pythagorean triangle among them. These pyramids, built long before Pythagoras, show that the Egyptians had highly advanced knowledge of mathematics and geometry. After visiting the mysterious pyramids, we will see the Sphinx, with a pharaoh’s head and a lion’s body, representing the rising sun and the pharaoh’s rebirth. We will have lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. Finally, after visiting the “Living Statue” Sphinx, which has a temple between its paws, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Cairo
After breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo with Lunch tour (140 USD) organized by our guide. Covering an area of 500,000 square meters (approximately 70 football fields), the museum is the world’s largest archaeological museum complex dedicated to a single civilization. Standing out with a magnificent plaster and glass façade, the complex is decorated with triangles in different sizes and colors as a tribute to Ancient Egypt. We will have our lunch at a local restaurant during our tour. After the museum tour, we will return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Cairo - Alexandria - Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and head to Alexandria Airport for our flight back to Istanbul. After completing our ticket, passport, and baggage procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight. Upon arrival, our services and tour come to an end.
