This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 15 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the start of the tour. The canceled tour due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of the trip and not older than 10 years.For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will send to you for the visa application. In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed, and if the destination is a country that applies a visa to Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger. Since there is a possibility that our guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father may be asked for a document showing the parents’ mutual consent by the police officer on duty at the country entry and exit points; we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be careful about this matter.

Health

Those who regularly use medication are advised to bring more medicine than they need. Because not all kinds of medicine can be found in the country. In addition, if you have a serious health problem (heart, blood pressure, diabetes, etc.), it will be useful to have a document signed by your doctor with you. Also, we recommend that you do not drink tap water and instead drink bottled water that you open yourself for the first time.

Extra Tours & Activities

Extra tours and activities are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the excursions may not be carried out, or the prices, content, and vehicle used for the extra tour/activity may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of the museums, ruins, or venues at the destinations and on weather conditions.

Accommodation

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km. 

Child discounts are valid for a single (1) child staying with 2 adults and belonging to the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts taken at the hotel from the services included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country and are generally offered as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served for groups in a separate hall allocated to the group.

Currency

Japan’s currency is the Yen (JPY).. We recommend that you bring USD with you for this trip and also have small denominations of it with you.

Time Zone

There is a +6 hour difference between Turkey and both countries. When it is 12.00 in Turkey, it is 18.00. in the countries we will be traveling to.

Clothing and Necessary Items

We recommend that you bring T-shirts that are easy to put on and take off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, comfortable walking shoes, and a light jacket or cardigan. We recommend choosing non-synthetic, cotton clothing. You may also bring a raincoat and umbrella in case of rain. In addition, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs for possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards.

Important Notes

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for visa-required destinations/passports) does not mean that entry into the country will be allowed. The passport police have the authority not to let you into the country. Papua Tur is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger. Papua acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and private flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Papua is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport taxes and airport service fees. Panoramic city tours included in the package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities and carried out panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide narration, lasting no more than 2-3 hours and not including museum or archaeological site entrance fees. Papua Tur is not responsible for the inability to carry out panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they cannot be held on the day and time matching the tour due to restrictions by local authorities on sightseeing or entry, or because of closed roads due to any event, or when weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be carried out by public transportation or on foot where possible at closed roads or points where vehicle access is not allowed.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Tokyo
We meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After ticketing and baggage procedures, we depart for Tokyo on a flight operated by Ana Air Airlines. We welcome the new day on the plane.
Tokyo - Asakusa - Tokyo
Upon our morning arrival in Tokyo, we meet our local guide and driver waiting for us at the airport and head toward the city center. It won’t take long for us to begin feeling the energy of this fascinating city! Our first stop is Asakusa / Senso-ji Temple, which beautifully reflects Tokyo’s traditional spirit. Built in 645 and famous for its enormous red lanterns, this Shinto temple invites us into the mystical atmosphere of the past as one of Japan’s oldest and most visited sacred sites. Immediately in front of the temple, we step into Nakamise, Japan’s first open-air shopping street, where we embark on a journey back in time. Here, in more than 70 authentic shops lined up one after another, we will have the opportunity to discover everything from Japanese handicrafts and traditional clothing to local snacks and interesting souvenirs. If you wish, you can taste local street flavors and pick up small surprises for your loved ones. At the end of our tour, we head to the Ginza district, one of the country’s most prestigious shopping and fashion streets, to discover Tokyo’s modern side. With its contemporary architecture, luxury boutiques, stylish cafés, and lively street atmosphere, Ginza offers Tokyo’s elegance and dynamism all at once. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and settle in for a rest on our first night in Tokyo. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo
After breakfast at our hotel, you can enjoy a full day at leisure. Those who wish may join our optional Mount Fuji tour (190 USD), organized by our guide. Our first stop on the tour will be the Mount Fuji Museum, where we will learn about Mount Fuji. We then head to Oshino Hakkai Village, where we can experience natural spring waters and traditional Japanese life. Here, you can drink the icy waters of Mount Fuji, sample local delicacies, and enjoy shopping among authentic souvenirs. If you wish, you may also try mochi, the traditional Japanese rice cake snack. The final stop of the tour is Lake Kawaguchi, which offers one of the most beautiful views of Mount Fuji. During a peaceful boat tour here, you will be captivated by the magnificent view of Mount Fuji. At the end of the tour, we return to Tokyo and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo
After breakfast at our hotel, a full day at leisure awaits you to spend the day as you wish. Those who wish may join our optional Kamakura & Outlet tour (USD 190), organized by our guide. On our journey to the city of Kamakura, the birthplace of the Shogunate system in Japan, we first visit the Kotoku-in Temple, famous for the Great Buddha of Kamakura, one of the country’s iconic symbols. We then proceed to Hokokuji Temple, known for its peaceful atmosphere and bamboo groves. Here, we have the opportunity to experience mochi, a traditional Japanese sweet, accompanied by green tea. In the final part of our tour, we stop by a large open-air outlet center and enjoy free time for shopping. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel in Tokyo. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo
After breakfast at our hotel, we head into the heart of Tokyo and begin experiencing the city like the locals do. Today, we explore the city using the Tokyo Metro, one of the world’s most advanced public transportation networks. With 304 kilometers of track, 13 different lines, and a total of 285 stations, the Tokyo Metro offers us a practical and enjoyable way to discover the many faces of this vast metropolis. Our first stop is Tsukiji Fish Market, Japan’s oldest and most traditional fish market. Here, we dive into the heart of Japanese cuisine and explore Tokyo’s authentic side as we wander among fresh seafood. We then move on to Akihabara, the center of technology and pop culture in Japan. This district, filled with colorful electronics stores, anime figures, and a vibrant digital world, is a paradise for technology enthusiasts. Our tour continues with the famous Hachiko Statue, which has earned a place in the hearts of the Japanese people thanks to its loyalty. Right next to it, we experience the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, one of the busiest intersections in the world, where approximately 1 million people pass through every day — just watching this chaotic yet orderly flow is an experience in itself! Afterward, we step into Tokyo’s fashion world. Harajuku, famous for its colorful street style, and Omotesando Avenue, home to Japan’s visionary fashion designers and known for its elegant boutiques, are among today’s final stops. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel and continue our stay in Tokyo. This unique city, where modernism blends with tradition, will have generously revealed its many different faces to us today. Afterwards, free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo
After our breakfast at the hotel, you can enjoy a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Kyoto & Osaka tour organized by our guide for 390 USD, offering the chance to discover two unique cities of Japan. We begin our tour by departing from our hotel with our guide and taking the local train to Tokyo Station. From there, we embark on a comfortable journey to enchanting Kyoto aboard the Shinkansen high-speed train. Our first stop in Kyoto is Kinkaku-ji Temple, also known as the “Golden Pavilion,” dazzling with its golden color. Here, we experience this mystical atmosphere surrounded by nature. Next, we visit the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its thousands of orange torii gates and as the filming location of the movie “Memoirs of a Geisha.” We then continue to the lively and colorful Dotonbori district in Osaka. This is a true paradise full of shopping and culinary stops. During our free time here, we can taste street food and explore as we wish. After this pleasant excursion, we return to Tokyo by Shinkansen and transfer back to our hotel by local train. Thus, we leave behind a rich and unforgettable Japan experience. Overnight at our hotel.
Osaka - Tokyo
After breakfast at our hotel, the rest of the day is free at leisure. Guests who wish may join the enchanting Nikko tour (190 USD), organized optionally by our guide. Nikko, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Japan’s most impressive regions distinguished by its natural beauty, welcomes us with magnificent landscapes and historic structures. Our tour begins with a short stroll around Lake Chuzenji, known for its striking mountain views and peaceful atmosphere. We then visit Kegon Falls, one of Japan’s most beautiful natural wonders, formed by the waters flowing down from the lake. Later in the day, we explore Toshogu Shrine, which captivates visitors with its architecture and symbols. Built with the labor of approximately 15,000 craftsmen, this shrine stands out for both its architectural richness and the famous three monkey figures on its interior walls, conveying the message “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” At the end of the tour, we return to Tokyo and check into our hotel. You may enjoy the evening as you wish. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo - Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, transfer to the airport. Following our ticketing and passport procedures, we fly to Istanbul on an Ana Air flight. We arrive at Istanbul Airport and our tour comes to an end. We hope to see you on your next adventure.
