You must have a passport that is valid for 6 months from the end date of the trip and is no more than 10 years old.For destinations where a visa is required, the visa application must be submitted with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for a Visa” list that your agency will provide to you. To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies visas to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger. Since our guests under the age of 18 may be asked by the police officers responsible for entry and exit procedures to provide a document showing the joint consent of the parents when traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay particular attention to this matter.

Health

Those who regularly use medication are advised to bring more medication with them than they need, as not all types of medication are available in the country. In addition, if you have a serious health problem (heart, blood pressure, diabetes, etc.), it would be useful to carry a document signed by your doctor. We also recommend that you do not drink tap water and drink bottled water that you open yourself for the first time.

Optional Tours & Activities

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency from which we receive services, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicles used for optional tours / activities may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours / activities may be changed by the guide according to whether the museums, archaeological sites, or venues at the destinations are open/closed and according to weather conditions.

Accommodation

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified kilometers. 

Child discounts are valid for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and belonging to the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts included in the tour program and served at the hotel are provided in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited, generally as a limited menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate room allocated to the group.

Currency

The currency of Japan is the Yen (JPY).. We recommend that you bring USD with you for this trip, including smaller denominations.

Time Zone

There is a +6-hour time difference between Türkiye and both countries. When it is 12:00 in Türkiye, the time in the countries we will visit is 18:00.

Clothing and Necessary Items

We recommend that you bring T-shirts that are easy to put on and take off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, comfortable walking shoes, and a light jacket or cardigan. We advise you to prefer non-synthetic, cotton clothing. You may also bring a raincoat and an umbrella in case of rain. In addition, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, their chargers, and spare memory cards.

Important Notes

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for a destination/passport where a visa is required) does not mean that you will be allowed to enter the country. Passport control officers have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. Papua Tur is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger. Papua acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and charter flights, or times may change before the existing trip and flight. Papua is obliged to notify you of these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children between 0 and 2 years of age do not pay airport taxes and airport service fees.Tour packages include panoramic city tours, which are tours lasting no more than 2–3 hours, organized for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically with guide narration from inside the vehicle; they do not include entrance fees to museums or archaeological sites. Tour Program
Istanbul - Tokyo
We meet at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport. After completing check-in and baggage procedures, we depart for Tokyo on an Ana Air flight. We welcome the new day aboard the aircraft.
Tokyo - Asakusa - Tokyo
Upon our arrival in Tokyo in the morning, we depart for the city center with our local guide and vehicle waiting for us at the airport. It will not take long for us to start feeling the energy of this fascinating city! Our first stop is Asakusa’s Senso-ji Temple, which best reflects Tokyo’s traditional spirit. Built in 645 and famous for its enormous red lanterns, this temple, one of Japan’s oldest and most visited sacred sites, invites us into the mystical atmosphere of the past. On Nakamise Street, stretching out just in front of the temple and known as Japan’s first open-air shopping street, we embark on a journey through time. Here, we will have the opportunity to explore more than 70 authentic shops lined up along the street, offering everything from Japanese handicrafts and traditional clothing to local snacks and interesting souvenirs. If you wish, you can sample local street delicacies and purchase small surprises for your loved ones. At the end of our tour, we head to the Ginza district, one of the country’s most prestigious shopping and fashion areas, to discover Tokyo’s modern side. With its modern architecture, luxury boutiques, elegant cafés, and lively streets, Ginza offers a blend of Tokyo’s elegance and dynamism. Following our tour, we proceed to our hotel and relax for our first night in Tokyo. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo
After breakfast at our hotel, you can enjoy a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our guide on an optional Fuji Mountain tour (USD 190). Our first stop will be the Fuji Mountain Museum, where we will learn about Mount Fuji. We will then visit Oshino Hakkai Village, where we can experience natural spring waters and traditional Japanese life. Here, you can drink the ice-cold water of Mount Fuji, sample local delicacies, and enjoy shopping among authentic souvenirs. If you wish, you can also try mochi rice cakes, a traditional Japanese snack. The final stop of our tour will be Lake Kawaguchi, which offers one of the most beautiful views of Mount Fuji. During the relaxing boat tour, you will admire the magnificent view of Mount Fuji. At the end of the tour, we return to Tokyo and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo
After breakfast at our hotel, a full day of free time awaits, allowing you to spend the day as you wish. Guests who wish may join our guide’s optional Kamakura & Outlet tour (USD 190). During our journey to Kamakura, the birthplace of the shogunate system in Japan, we will first visit Kotoku-in Temple, famous for the Great Buddha of Kamakura, one of the country’s iconic landmarks. We will then proceed to Hokokuji Temple, known for its serene atmosphere and bamboo groves. Here, you will have the opportunity to enjoy mochi, a traditional Japanese sweet, accompanied by green tea. In the final part of our tour, we will stop at a large open-air outlet center, where free time will be provided for shopping. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel in Tokyo. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo
After breakfast at our hotel, we head into the heart of Tokyo and begin experiencing the city like a local. Today, we set out to explore the city using Tokyo’s subway system, one of the most advanced public transportation networks in the world. With 304 kilometers of track, 13 different lines, and a total of 285 stations, the Tokyo subway offers us a practical and enjoyable way to discover the different faces of this vast metropolis. Our first stop is Tsukiji Fish Market, Japan’s oldest and most traditional fish market. Here, we delve into the heart of Japanese cuisine and explore Tokyo’s authentic side as we wander among fresh seafood stalls. We then continue to Akihabara, Japan’s center of technology and pop culture. With its colorful electronics stores, anime figures, and vibrant digital world, this neighborhood is truly a paradise for technology enthusiasts. Our tour continues with the famous Hachiko Statue, which has won a special place in the hearts of the Japanese people through its loyalty. Right nearby, we experience the Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest pedestrian crossings in the world, which is passed by approximately one million people every day. Watching this chaotic yet orderly flow is an experience in itself! We then step into Tokyo’s fashion world. The colorful street style of Harajuku and Omotesando Avenue, known for its elegant boutiques and home to Japan’s visionary fashion designers, are among the final stops of the day. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel and continue our stay in Tokyo. This unique city, where modernity blends seamlessly with tradition, will have generously revealed its many different faces to us today. Afterwards, free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo
After breakfast at our hotel, you can enjoy a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our guide’s optional Kyoto & Osaka tour (USD 390), offering the opportunity to discover two of Japan’s unique cities. We begin our tour by departing from the hotel with our guide and taking a local train to Tokyo Station. From there, we enjoy a comfortable journey aboard the Shinkansen high-speed train to enchanting Kyoto. Our first stop in Kyoto is Kinkakuji Temple, dazzling with its golden color and known as the “Golden Pavilion.” Here, we experience its mystical atmosphere surrounded by nature. We then visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of orange torii gates and featured in the renowned film “Memoirs of a Geisha.” Continuing our tour, we head to the lively and colorful Dotonbori district of Osaka. This area is a true paradise filled with shopping opportunities and culinary delights. During our free time, you can sample street food and explore the area at your leisure. After our enjoyable tour, we return to Tokyo by Shinkansen and transfer to our hotel by local train. Thus, we conclude a full and unforgettable Japanese experience. Overnight at our hotel.
Osaka - Tokyo
After breakfast at our hotel, the entire day is free. Guests who wish may join our guide’s optional, fascinating Nikko tour (USD 190). Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Japan’s most impressive regions renowned for its natural beauty, Nikko welcomes us with magnificent landscapes and historic structures. We begin our tour with a short stroll around Lake Chuzenji, known for its striking mountain views and tranquil atmosphere. We then visit Kegon Falls, formed by waters flowing from the lake and considered one of Japan’s most beautiful natural wonders. Later in the day, we explore Toshogu Shrine, captivating with its architecture and symbolism. Built through the craftsmanship of approximately 15,000 artisans, the shrine stands out both for its architectural richness and its famous three wise monkeys, whose message is “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” At the end of the tour, we return to Tokyo and check in to our hotel. You may spend the evening as you wish. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo - Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, transfer to the airport. Following the ticketing and passport procedures, we fly to Istanbul on an Ana Air flight. We arrive at Istanbul Airport, marking the end of our tour. We hope to see you on your next adventure.
