Participation Requirement

This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 15 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification deadline is 20 days before the start of the tour. A tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of the trip and issued within the last 10 years.For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be submitted with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you. In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies visas to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger. As there is a possibility that guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or accompanied by only one of their parents may be asked by the police officer on duty at the country's entry and exit points for a document showing the joint consent of both parents, we recommend that our guests under the age of 18 and their parents pay particular attention to this matter.

Health

Those who regularly take medication are advised to bring more medication than they need. This is because not all types of medication are available in the country. In addition, if you have a serious health problem (heart, blood pressure, diabetes, etc.), it would be useful to carry a document signed by your doctor. We also recommend that you do not drink tap water and drink bottled water that you open yourself for the first time.

Optional Tours & Activities

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive services from, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not reached, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicles used for optional tours / activities may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours / activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums, archaeological sites, or venues at the destinations, and weather conditions.

Accommodation

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified number of kilometers. 

Child discounts are valid for one (1) child who stays with 2 adults and falls within the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts included in the tour program and served at the hotel are offered in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, referred to as a continental breakfast, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

Currency

The currency of Japan is the Yen (JPY).. We recommend that you bring USD with you for this trip, including small denominations.

Time Zone

There is a +6-hour time difference between Türkiye and both countries. When it is 12:00 in Türkiye, the time in the countries we will travel to is 18.00.

Clothing and Necessary Items

We recommend that you bring T-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, comfortable walking shoes, and a light jacket or cardigan. We advise you to prefer non-synthetic, cotton clothing. You may also bring a raincoat and an umbrella in case of rain. In addition, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs in case of possible noise, a camera, a video camera, their chargers, and spare memory cards.

Important Notes

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for a destination/passport requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed. Passport control officers have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. Papua Tur is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger. Papua is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and charter flights, or flight times may change before the existing trip and flight. Papua is obliged to notify you of these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Tour Program
Istanbul - Tokyo - Osaka
We meet at the International Terminal of Istanbul Airport. After ticket and baggage check-in, we board a flight with Ana Air Airlines to Tokyo, with a stopover in Osaka. We welcome the new day on the plane.
Osaka
Immediately after our arrival in Osaka, we will begin our city tour. Osaka is traditionally referred to as the “Kitchen of the People” or the gastronomic capital of Japan. Osaka literally means “Big Hill” or “Big Valley”. During our city tour in Osaka, we will first see the Osaka Castle, which was built in the 16th century and is one of the finest examples of Japanese architecture. The castle was built by “Toyotomi Hideyoshi”, who unified Japan between 1585 and 1598, and it is believed that an average of 100,000 workers were employed in its construction. Following this, we will move to Dotonbori, a vibrant and colorful district of Osaka, which is a paradise filled with shopping and dining spots. During our free time, you can taste the street food and explore at your leisure. After these visits, we will have free time in Osaka’s markets, where we will have the chance to explore the city’s dining spots, which can be considered a shopping and dining paradise. At the end of the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Osaka
After breakfast at the hotel, we will have free time. For those who wish, we will take part in the optional Kyoto City Tour (195 USD) organized by our guide. First, we will visit the Kinkakuji Temple, made of gold leaf. We will visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine, which was featured in the movie Memories of a Geisha. The hundreds of gates of the gods will surely fascinate you. Then, we will visit the mystical atmosphere of the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, one of the most interesting forests in the world, located in the Arashiyama area. At the end of the tour, we will have free time in the Gion area, famous for its geisha, to enjoy and take photos. At the end of the tour, we will return to Osaka. Overnight at the hotel.
Osaka
After breakfast at our hotel, we will have a full day of free time. Those who wish can join the Nara & Kobe tour (195 USD) organized by our guide as an optional activity. We will spend the full day in Nara and Kobe. First, we will visit the Todaiji Temple in Nara, which is located one hour away and is one of Japan’s ancient capitals, as well as the cradle of Japanese art, crafts, literature, culture, and industry. Todaiji is not only the world’s largest wooden structure, but also houses the world’s largest Buddha statue. In Nara Park, we will also see the Nara deer. Then, we will head to Kobe, a city famous for its meat. Those who wish can experience Kobe meat during the free time provided in Kobe. Afterwards, we will visit Nunobiki Botanical Garden, one of Japan’s largest gardens, which covers 40 acres. We will reach the garden on the top of Rokko Mountain by cable car. There are more than 75,000 plant species in the Nunobiki Botanical Garden. At the end of our tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Osaka. Overnight at the hotel.
Osaka - Tokyo
After the morning breakfast, we check out of the hotel and head to the train station. We board the Shinkansen (Super Express Train) and begin our journey to Tokyo. It won’t be long before we begin to feel the energy of this fascinating city! Upon arrival, we will begin our city tour of Tokyo. Our first stop will be the Asakusa/Senso-ji Temple, which beautifully reflects the traditional spirit of Tokyo. Built in 645, this Shinto shrine, famous for its massive red lanterns, invites us to experience the mystical atmosphere of the past as one of Japan’s oldest and most visited sacred sites. We will then venture into Nakamise, Japan’s first open-air shopping street, which stretches right in front of the temple. Here, we have the opportunity to explore a wide range of items, from traditional Japanese crafts and clothing to unique souvenirs and local snacks. If you wish, you can enjoy the local street food and pick up small gifts for your loved ones. At the end of our tour, we head to the Ginza area, one of Tokyo’s most prestigious shopping and fashion districts, to explore the city’s modern face. With its modern architecture, luxury boutiques, stylish cafes, and vibrant street atmosphere, Ginza offers both the elegance and dynamism of Tokyo. After the tour, we check into our hotel and relax for our first night in Tokyo. Overnight in the hotel.
Tokyo - Mount Fuji - Kawaguchí
After breakfast at our hotel, you can enjoy a full day of free time. Those who wish can join the optional Fuji Mountain - Kawaguchi tour (195 USD) organized by our guide. Our first stop will be the Fuji Mountain Museum, where we will learn about Fuji Mountain. Then, we will head to Oshino Hakkai Village, where we can enjoy the natural spring waters and traditional Japanese life. Here, you can drink the ice-cold water of Fuji, taste local delicacies, and enjoy a pleasant shopping experience among the authentic souvenirs. If you wish, you can try the traditional Japanese snack, mochi rice cake. The last stop of the tour is Lake Kawaguchi, which has one of the most beautiful views of Mount Fuji. On our peaceful boat tour here, you will be amazed by the magnificent view of Mount Fuji. At the end of the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Tokyo. Overnight at the hotel.
Tokyo - Kamakura
After breakfast at our hotel, you will have the whole day to explore at your leisure. Those who wish can join the optional Kamakura & Outlet (195 USD) tour, which will be organized by our guide. On our journey to Kamakura, the birthplace of the Shogun system in Japan, we first visit the Kotoku-in Temple, famous for its Kamakura Great Buddha Statue, one of the symbols of the country. Then we head to the Hokokuji Temple, known for its peaceful atmosphere and bamboo forests. Here, we have the opportunity to experience mochi, a traditional Japanese dessert served with green tea. In the final part of our tour, we visit a large outlet center located in the open air and have free time for shopping. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel in Tokyo. Overnight at the hotel.
Tokyo - Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, we will be transferred to the airport very early in the morning (breakfast can be included in the package). After completing our ticket and passport procedures, we will fly to Istanbul with a flight operated by Ana Air. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport and conclude our tour.
