ABOUT THE TOUR PROGRAM
• The advertised prices are subject to a tiered pricing system applied as capacity fills up.
• Your travel documents and flight tickets must be with you throughout the journey.
• A sufficient number of participants is required for the package tour to operate (generally the minimum sufficient participation is designed as 20 and the maximum as 40 people, but this may vary depending on the date and tour). If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. A tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.
• Where deemed necessary, without prior notice and without altering the content of the program; the right to change the order in which tours/cities are visited and the airline company is reserved.
• Having a valid passport and/or visa does not mean that entry into the country will be permitted. The passport police have the authority to refuse entry; BinRota is not responsible for this situation and full responsibility belongs to the passenger.
• BinRota acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. On scheduled and special flights, there may be a risk of delay, and flight times may also change; BinRota is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. ABOUT
ABOUT ACCOMMODATION
• The hotels stated in the program are in the “or similar” category, and the final hotel information is announced 48 hours before the tour departure.
• The star classification of hotels may vary according to the local conditions of the countries visited.
• During busy periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, or sports tournaments, hotels may be chosen farther away than the stated distances.
• Check-in at the hotel is at the earliest 15:00 local time, and check-out from the hotel is between 11:00 and 12:00.
• Bed type cannot be guaranteed and is blocked according to the hotel’s availability. Triple rooms are provided according to the hotel’s availability and consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed; since extra beds are fold-out or sofa beds (coach bed), guests are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions and bed type in reservations for the 3rd person and/or children. Child discounts apply only to one (1) child staying with 2 adults and falling within the age group stated in the pricing section.
• In group accommodation, breakfast may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group and at a time specially determined for the group, usually as a continental breakfast (butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee) with a limited menu appropriate to the culture of the country visited.
ABOUT AIRLINE TICKETS
• Tickets are issued exactly مطابق with the name/surname, date of birth, Turkish ID number, and passport details in the passport; our agency is not responsible for incorrect notifications.
• It is necessary to be at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight time. Online check-in is performed by the guest 24 hours before the flight. Some airlines do not allow online check-in and seat selection for group tickets.
• Our agency is not responsible for airline-related delays, cancellations, or changes in time/route/fare.
• Due to the airlines’ consecutive ticket rule; if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight may also be canceled.
NOTES ON GUIDING AND TOURS
• Panoramic city tours are tours conducted for general introduction to the cities with guide narration from inside the vehicle, excluding museum/archaeological site entrances, and lasting at most 2-3 hours.
• Our agency is not responsible for tours not being carried out due to the closure of places to be visited by local authorities, road closures, or adverse weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted, where possible, by public transportation or on foot due to closed roads or points where vehicle entry is not permitted.
• Optional/extra tours are organized by the local agency with the condition that at least one third of the group participates, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not reached, excursions may not take place, or the price, content, and vehicle used may vary depending on the number of participants. The days and times of optional tours may be changed depending on whether museums/archaeological sites are open or closed and on weather conditions.
VISA AND PASSPORT
• Ordinary (maroon) passport holders are subject to visa; Special (green) and Service passport holders are exempt from visa. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and must not be older than 10 years. There must be a blank page in the passport for entry-exit stamps.
• In destinations requiring a visa, application must be made with the documents listed in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you.
• Torn, worn, wet, or similarly damaged passports must be renewed; if the destination country requires a visa for Turkish citizens, the valid visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
• When guests under 18 travel alone or with only one parent, a joint consent form may be requested at border crossings; we recommend taking this matter seriously.
HEALTH
• There is no vaccination requirement in the European countries visited.
• No health issues are expected in hotels and quality restaurants; however, during times outside the group, it is recommended to drink bottled water, avoid ice, milk, and dairy products, consume well-cooked meat/fish, and prefer fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapples.
CURRENCY
• Countries using the Euro (EUR): Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, and other Eurozone countries.
• Countries using their own currency: Switzerland (Swiss Franc / CHF), England (Pound Sterling / GBP), Czechia (Czech Koruna / CZK), Hungary (Forint / HUF), Poland (Zloty / PLN), Denmark / Sweden / Norway (Krone). It is also useful to carry some Euros with you in countries outside the Eurozone.
TIME ZONE
• Most continental European countries (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Poland, etc.) are 1 hour behind Turkey during daylight saving time and 2 hours behind during standard time.
• England and Portugal are 2 hours behind Turkey during daylight saving time and 3 hours behind during standard time.
• Greece is in the same time zone as Turkey.
ELECTRICITY AND OUTLETS
• In Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, and most continental European countries, outlet types are the same as in Turkey (Type C/F, 220-230V).
• A different outlet type (Type G, three flat pins) is used in England; you need to bring a plug adapter for this country.
PHONE USE
• Your mobile phone line can be used abroad if international use (roaming) is enabled.
SHOPPING
• There is an opportunity to shop at shopping centers in city centers and from souvenir stalls. In EU countries, you can benefit from Tax Free (tax refund) on purchases above a certain amount.
CLOTHING AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS
• In summer season: T-shirts and shirts that are easy to put on and take off, cotton pants, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and sweater for evenings; also a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, and chargers are recommended.
• In winter season: layered clothing that will keep you warm and allow comfortable movement, a coat, scarf, beanie, and waterproof shoes are recommended.
