PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years.

HEALTH

There is no vaccination requirement for entry into Italy. We do not think you will encounter any issue that would threaten your health with meals taken at the region’s good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, eat meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, eat fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapples.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we use, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, excursions may not be carried out, or the prices, content, and vehicle used for optional tours / activities may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours / activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums, archaeological sites, or venues in the places to be visited, as well as weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated km. 

3-person rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed provided for the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds or coach beds, participants are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible crowding in the rooms and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. 

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts included among the services in the tour program and taken at the hotel are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally offered as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served for groups in a separate hall allocated to the group.

CURRENCY

Italy’s currency is the Euro (EUR). It is useful to have Euro (EUR) with you.

TIME ZONE

Italy is 3 hours behind Turkey during daylight saving time and 2 hours behind during winter time. For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 15:30 in Italy.

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS

If you are traveling in the summer season, we recommend that you bring T-shirts, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton pants, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for the evenings, and a light sweater that can be easily put on and taken off.  In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothing that allows comfortable movement and keeps you warm.

FOOD CULTURE

Italian cuisine, which shows differences by region, is among the richest cuisines in the world thanks to the contributions of the Mediterranean influence. From snacks prepared with fresh tomatoes, greens, and country-specific cheeses to delicious pizzas, from pasta made with various sauces to seafood, it offers a wide range of options.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be granted. The passport police have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or the times before the current trip and flight may change. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees. 

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities and conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary, lasting no more than 2-3 hours and not including entrance fees to museums or archaeological sites. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of the agency if they cannot be carried out on the day and time of the tour due to roads closed by local authorities, places not being permitted to be visited or entered, or any event, and likewise in cases where the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may, where possible, be conducted by public transportation or on foot at points where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Venice
After meeting your guide at the New Airport International Terminal, we complete your baggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter and depart for Venice on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a panoramic city tour of Venice. After crossing to the historic peninsula by vaporetto, our city tour will include the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering the prison, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge over it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. We then transfer to our hotel. After arrival at the hotel, free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Venice - Milan
After starting the day with breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for our Verona excursion. Upon our arrival in Verona, we will see among the places to visit the House of Romeo & Juliet, which is the subject of the greatest love story in history, the Verona Arena, the Scaligero Bridge with its unique architecture, and Verona Cathedral. After our tour, we will continue our journey to Milan. Upon arrival, during our panoramic city tour of Milan, we will see the Milan Duomo, Italy’s second-largest church, which took approximately 500 years to complete, the Fortezza Castle, and the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, home to some of the world’s most famous fashion stores. At the end of the tour, we will transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Milan - Florence
After starting the day with breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for a tour of Florence. Upon arrival, we will proceed with a panoramic city tour of Florence. During our tour, we will see the Arno River, which divides Florence into two, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its goldsmiths, Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici Family ruled Florence, Piazza della Signoria, home to the masterpieces Hercules and David, the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo with the third-highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. We will end our tour with a photo stop at Michelangelo Hill, where we can admire the whole city and the Arno River, after which we will transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight stay at our hotel.
Florence
After starting the day with breakfast at the hotel, we will have a full day at leisure. For those who wish, we depart for the Siena & San Gimignano & Pisa Tour (95 Euro), which will be organized optionally by our guide. We first head to Siena for our tour. In our city tour of Siena, this UNESCO World Cultural Heritage city will take you back centuries in time. Among the sights to be seen are the San Domenico Church, the Duomo Cathedral, the Piazza del Campo where the Palio races are held, the famous Palazzo del Popolo, now used as the Town Hall, and the narrow streets that still reflect all traces of the past. Afterward, we visit San Gimignano, which reflects the magic of the Middle Ages with its surrounding walls and towers, and is therefore called the Manhattan of the Middle Ages. Then we depart for the Pisa Tour. On our tour, the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and Piazza dei Miracoli are among the sights to be seen. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Florence - Rome
After starting the day with breakfast at the hotel, our journey to Rome begins. Upon arrival, we set off for a panoramic city tour. The places to be seen include Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned and which is considered the center of Christianity; Venice Square, where Mussolini addressed the public, and the monument of Vittorio Emanuele II; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator battles; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; and the Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps and featuring the Fountain of the Boat. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and give free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome
We begin the day with breakfast at the hotel, after which, for those who wish, we depart with our guide for the optional Lakes District & Castel Romano Shopping Tour & Rome Masterpieces and Vatican Tour (110 €). Our first stop is Castel Gandolfo, where we will see the Pope’s summer residence and the magnificent view of Lake Albano. After arriving at our next stop, Nemi Village, we will take a pleasant walk through the village. Following the walk, there will be a short free time for shopping and to taste Nemi Village’s famous wild strawberry tart. Upon arrival at Castel Romano Outlet, Italy’s most famous outlet, there will be free time. At the end of the tour, transfer to Rome. On our Rome Masterpieces Tour, the places we will see panoramically include the Caracalla Baths, Circus Maximus, the Vatican, the Palace of Justice, Navona Square, the Fountain of the Four Rivers, the Italian Senate Building, and the Pantheon. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Rome
After starting the day with breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Naples. Upon arrival, we set out for our panoramic Naples city tour. During our tour, we will see the Royal Palace built in the 16th century, the San Carlo Theatre, which hosts some of the world’s most important performances, the Umberto I Gallery famous for its cafes and shops, the San Francesco di Paola Church inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, Plebiscito Square, Angev’s Castle, and Naples Port. After our sightseeing, we will have free time. Then we transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome - Istanbul
After starting the day with breakfast at the hotel, we have free time. At the time specified by your guide, we transfer to the airport. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we fly to Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon our arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
