OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES
Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we work with with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the excursions cannot be carried out, or the optional tour/activity prices, content, and vehicle used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums, ruins, or venues at the destinations, and according to weather conditions.
ACCOMMODATION
During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km.
Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are fold-away or coach beds, participants making reservations for a 3rd person and/or child are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the room and the bed type.
Child discounts apply only for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and falling within the age group specified in the pricing section.
Breakfasts included in the tour program and taken at the hotel are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited and are usually presented as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
CURRENCY
The European currency is Euro (EUR). It is useful to have Euro (EUR) with you.
TIME ZONE
Germany, Luxembourg, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands are 1 hour behind Turkey during daylight saving time and 2 hours behind during winter time.
For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 17:30 in the relevant countries.
CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS
If traveling in the summer season, we recommend bringing T-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton pants, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a light sweater for the evenings. In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards. In winter, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keeps you warm.
FOOD CULTURE
When German cuisine is mentioned, cakes, potatoes, and of course beer come to mind first. In this culture, which has a great variety of meat and vegetable dishes, there is also a wide variety of beer and wine.
French cuisine, whose roots go back to the Middle Ages, has a rich culture. Famous for its wines and many kinds of cheese, French cuisine is known worldwide for meat dishes cooked with different sauces and delicacies such as crème brûlée, macaron, and soufflé, which are its famous desserts.
Belgian cuisine combines the traditions of German and French cuisines.
Although Dutch cuisine is not very rich, its cheeses are worth trying. The other flavors are generally in a fast-food style.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for a destination/passport requiring a visa) does not necessarily mean that entry into the country will be permitted. The passport police have the authority not to let you into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.
The agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. On scheduled and charter flights, there may be a risk of delay, or the times may change before the current tour and flight. The agency is obliged to inform you of these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees.
Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, carried out panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary, lasting at most 2-3 hours and not including museum or archaeological site प्रवेशs. Panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of the agency if they cannot be carried out because the local authorities do not allow visits or entry on the day and time of the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may, where possible, be carried out by public transport or on foot at points where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted.
