PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour start. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years.

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Required Documents for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you for the visa application.

 

To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed, and if it is a country that applies a visa to Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

 

Since our guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one of their parents may be asked for a document showing the mutual consent of the parents by the police officer at the country’s entry/exit points; we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay attention to this matter.

 

HEALTH

There is no vaccination requirement at the entrance to Luxembourg. We do not think that you will encounter any health-threatening problems with meals taken at the region’s good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, that you definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and eat fruits whose peel can be removed, such as bananas and pineapples.

OPTIONAL TOURS  & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency from which we receive service, with a minimum participation of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the excursions cannot be carried out, or the prices, content, and vehicle to be used for optional tours/activities may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the open/closed status of museums, historical sites, or venues in the places to be visited and according to weather conditions.

 

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km.

 

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable and coach beds, participants making 3rd person and/or child reservations are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible congestion in the rooms and the type of bed.

 

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and fitting the age group specified in the pricing section.

 

Breakfasts taken at the hotel among the services included in the tour program are offered in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country you are in and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.

The European currency is Euro (EUR).

TIME ZONE

Germany, Luxembourg, France, Belgium and the Netherlands are 1 hour behind Turkey in summer time and 2 hours behind in winter time.

For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 17:30 in Germany.

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS

If you are going in the summer season, we recommend that you bring T-shirts, short- and long-sleeved shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for the evenings, and a light sweater. In addition; you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera and their chargers, and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothes that allow you to move comfortably and keep you warm.

 

FOOD CULTURE

When German food culture is mentioned, cakes, potatoes and of course beer come to mind first. In this culture, which has a wide variety of meat and vegetables, there is also a wide variety of beer and wine.

 

French cuisine, whose roots date back to the Middle Ages, has a rich culture. Famous local drinks and a variety of cheeses have made French cuisine world-famous, and it is known for meat dishes cooked with different sauces and famous desserts such as crème brûlée, macaron and soufflé.

 

Belgian cuisine combines the traditions of German and French cuisines.

 

Although Dutch cuisine is not very rich, its cheeses are worth trying. The other flavors are generally fast food style.

There is shopping opportunity at shopping centers located in city centers and small stalls selling souvenirs.

Having a valid passport and/or obtaining a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not necessarily mean that you will be allowed entry into the country. The passport police have the authority not to let you into the country. Bin Rota is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide narration and not including museum or historical site entrance fees. If panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot be carried out because local authorities do not allow visits or entry on the day and time of the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Bin Rota is not responsible for the inability to carry out the aforementioned tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible in areas with closed roads or places where vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul – Luxembourg
After meeting your guide at the New Airport International Terminal, following your baggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter, we depart for Luxembourg on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Luxembourg. During our tour, you will have the opportunity to see the Petrus Valley, the old town center and its narrow streets, the city cathedral, and the Grand Ducal Palace. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel for accommodation. Then, for those who wish, we set off on our optional Remich & Schengen tour, organized by our guide for 55 Euros. We begin with a tour of Schengen, the town located in the heart of Luxembourg, Germany, and France. In the Schengen area, where the free movement agreement was signed by European Union countries, you can take souvenir photos in front of the building and monument. Afterwards, we arrive in the Remich region, accompanied by vineyards. In the Remich region, due to Luxembourg’s low tax policies, you can enjoy shopping in this charming and quiet town. After our Remich & Schengen tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Luxembourg – Reims – Paris
After having breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Reims. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a panoramic city tour of Reims. We will have the opportunity to discover the city’s historic atmosphere by seeing the magnificent Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and its surroundings. During the short free time we will have, you may stroll around the cathedral square and enjoy time at nearby cafés and boutique shops. After our Reims tour, we board our transfer vehicle and continue to Paris. Upon arrival in Paris, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Paris
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we depart for a panoramic tour of Paris. During our panoramic tour, we will see the Opera Square and Opera House, the Tuileries Gardens, Concorde Square, the world-famous shopping street Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Military Museum, the Parliament building, Napoleon’s Tomb, the Louvre Palace and Museum, the National Assembly building, Madeleine Church, Grand Palais, Petit Palais, Comédie-Française, Chaillot Palace, Vendôme Square, and Trocadéro Square. Then, with those who wish, we depart for the optional Paris Dream Tour (Paris Icons & Montmartre Hill) (75 Euro), organized by our guide. We are heading for our Paris Dream Tour. On this tour, we will pass through the lively Pigalle district, one of the most interesting centers of the city, and head up to Montmartre Hill, known as the Artists’ Hill, where bohemian life still continues today. After seeing Sacré-Cœur (the Basilica of the Sacred Heart), you will have free time at Place du Tertre to have your portrait drawn and take photos. Following the Artists’ Hill tour, we visit the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of both Paris and France, to enjoy the city’s enchanting view as part of the Paris Icons tour. During the photo stop, those who wish may purchase a ticket and go up the tower. After our free time, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Paris
After breakfast at our hotel, for those who wish, we depart for the optional St. Germain Tour and Outlet (65 Euro) organized by our guide. We experience St. Germain, famous for its jazz music and cafés, where many thinkers and philosophers such as Jean-Paul Sartre and writer Simone de Beauvoir lived. We will take a walking tour where we will see Luxembourg Gardens, the Pantheon, and St. Michel, and then, panoramically, Notre Dame Cathedral and Sorbonne University. In the continuation of our tour, we offer free time for pleasant shopping at Paris’s famous outlet shopping center. At the end of the tour, we are transferred to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Paris – Bruges – Brussels
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for a Bruges excursion. Known as the “Venice of Belgium” thanks to its houses built over the water and its streets made up of canals, the city’s historic fabric and medieval architecture have preserved their integrity to this day, as it miraculously escaped damage during World War II. In the city square, the single-story, colorful-roofed houses that resemble cakes, along with churches, statues, and cobblestone medieval streets, will draw us into a fairy-tale atmosphere. Afterwards, we transfer to Brussels and take our panoramic city tour. Brussels, the capital of Belgium, is also home to many institutions related to the European Union and NATO. On our tour of this city, which has successfully preserved many historical works throughout history, we will carry out a panoramic city tour of Grand Place, one of Europe’s most famous and lively squares, as well as many historical sites and streets renowned for their Gothic-style historical and architectural character. After our Brussels tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Brussels – Amsterdam
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Amsterdam. On our panoramic city tour of Amsterdam, we will see Dam Square, the Royal Palace, the National Monument, and Central Station. Guests who wish may visit the Flower Market and the Red Light District during their free time. During the free time provided, you can enjoy the city and take plenty of photos. Afterwards, we will make a short photo stop at Museum Square and then transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Amsterdam
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we depart for the Marken & Zaanse Schans & Volendam Tour (115 Euro), which will be organized optionally by our guide for our guests who wish to join. In the town of Marken, you can observe the lives of fishermen in their charming little houses. After having the opportunity to see and take photos of Zaanse Schans, a magical town with windmills, we head to Volendam, a charming seaside town. You will not get enough of the time you spend in the harbor area of Volendam, an old fishing village that inspired the song “Anyone who wants to see the true beauty of Holland should go to Volendam.” After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Then we give free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Amsterdam – Cologne – Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Cologne. Upon arrival in this charming small city, which experienced its most prosperous period in the 16th century, we will take our panoramic city tour. Afterwards, at the time specified by your guide, we transfer to Cologne Airport. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we fly to Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. With our arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
