OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES
Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we work with with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not reached, the tours cannot be carried out, or the prices, content, and vehicles used for optional tours/activities may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums, ruins, or venues at the destinations and according to weather conditions.
ACCOMMODATION
During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than those stated in kilometers.
Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable beds and coach beds, participants making reservations for a 3rd person and/or child are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the type of bed.
Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section.
Breakfasts taken at the hotel among the services included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.
CURRENCY
The European currency is Euro (EUR). It is useful to have Euro (EUR) with you.
TIME ZONE
Germany, Luxembourg, France, Belgium and the Netherlands are 1 hour behind Turkey in summer time and 2 hours behind in winter time.
For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 17:30 in the relevant countries.
CLOTHING AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS
If traveling in the summer season, we recommend that you bring T-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a light sweater for the evenings. In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, their chargers, and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keeps you warm.
FOOD CULTURE
When German cuisine is mentioned, cakes, potatoes, and of course beer come to mind first. In this culture, which has a great variety of meat and vegetable dishes, there is also a wide variety of beers and wines.
French cuisine, whose roots date back to the Middle Ages, has a rich culture. French cuisine, famous for its wines and various cheeses and known worldwide, is recognized for meat dishes cooked with different sauces and famous desserts such as crème brûlée, macarons, and soufflé.
Belgian cuisine combines German and French cuisines with its traditions.
Dutch cuisine is not a very rich cuisine, but its cheeses are worth trying. Other delicacies are generally fast-food style.
