French cuisine, whose roots date back to the Middle Ages, has a rich culture. French cuisine, whose fame has spread around the world with its famous wines and various cheeses, is known for meat dishes cooked with different sauces and famous desserts such as crème brûlée, macaron and soufflé.

Italian cuisine, which varies by region, is among the richest cuisines in the world with the contribution of Mediterranean influence. It offers a wide range of options, from snacks prepared with fresh tomatoes, greens and country-specific cheeses, to pizzas with magnificent flavors, pastas made with various sauces, and seafood.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Basel - Freiburg - Mulhouse
After meeting your guide at Istanbul Airport’s International Terminal, you will complete your baggage and ticketing procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter and then depart for Basel on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival in Basel, we begin our panoramic city tour. Among the sights to be seen are the flower-adorned Altstadt (Old Town), the Town Hall made of red sandstone, the Münster Cathedral dating back to the 12th century, and the Mittlere Rheinbrücke over the Rhine River. At the end of the tour, we depart for a visit to Freiburg. On our tour, the “Bächle,” small canals running along the streets with a total length of 15.5 km covering the entire old town, the Freiburger Münster (Cathedral) with its 116-meter-high tower visible from anywhere you are, the Markthalle (Covered Market), a paradise where you will be most surprised in the city by the variety of dishes from world cuisines, Münsterplatz, the large square; Rathausplatz, home to the old and new town halls; Kaiser Joseph Street, with many souvenir shops, chain stores, cafes, and restaurants; Augustiner Platz, the city’s meeting point; Adelhauser Platz, the square for those who enjoy tranquility; and Gerberau, where you can see the city’s most pleasant cafes and gardens, will be among the places visited. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Mullhouse - Alsace - Colmar - Strasbourg
After our hotel breakfast, we will have a full day at leisure. Guests who wish can join our optional Alsace Wonders Colmar & Strasbourg Tour (100 Euros). First, we will head to the fairy-tale city of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, the Pfister House, and Petite Venise (Little Venice), the city’s most famous area, with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In the unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to enjoy many delicious local foods as well as buy numerous souvenirs. Our next stop will be Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, unique rows of shops, cobblestone streets closed to vehicle traffic, buildings that somehow escaped damage during World War II, and charming cafés; a village that seems straight out of a Grimm fairy tale, with its tower housing the Dolder Museum, which preserves the town’s history with documents. Riquewihr, the most visited village in the Alsace region, has a population of about 1,100 and is considered the pearl of the region thanks to the vineyards surrounding it. Beginning around mid-September each year, the allure of its grape harvest festivals is enhanced by its typical German architecture, half-timbered pastel-colored houses decorated with flowers, and a gently sloping cobblestone main street, the Grand Rue, stretching upward from the town gate. After completing our visit here, we will continue to Strasbourg. We are in the second most important city of the European Union after Brussels. Historically and culturally rich, it is the city of Gutenberg, Rouget de Lisle, the Dutch philosopher Erasmus, and the German writer Goethe. Strasbourg’s historic city center is located in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Grande Île area. During our city tour, we will see Notre Dame Cathedral and most of the other sights within an island surrounded by the river. In the southwest of this island lies Strasbourg’s most beautiful and interesting district, Little France (La Petite France). This is an area where the rivers meet and are regulated, filled with historic Renaissance-era houses and museums. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel and then have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Mulhouse - Bern - Montreux - Lausanne - Geneva
After breakfast at our hotel, we head to Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historic texture, it is listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Bern, located within Switzerland and where German is the official language, also reflects the influence of German culture in its architecture. After a short break in Bern, which was built around the Aare River, we visit Montreux. Montreux, which we know very well from our national history, is a city that is important not only for its castles, historic buildings, and natural beauty, but also for the world of music. The song Smoke on the Water, which marked an era, tells the story of a casino fire in Montreux, and there is also a statue of Freddie Mercury, who spent the final period of his life working here. After our city tour in Montreux, we see the Chillon Castle, which has become the symbol of Montreux, from a panoramic view and take postcard-like photos. We then continue to Lausanne. Lausanne, which hosted the Treaty of Lausanne signed on July 24, 1923, has an important place in our national history, and is also one of the significant episcopal centers of the Middle Ages. Lausanne, with its medieval castles, D’Ouchy Castle, palaces, cathedrals, and museum buildings, takes visitors deep into history, and its location on the shores of Lake Geneva adds even more to its appeal. After a short sightseeing tour in Lausanne, we will take a city tour of Geneva. During our tour of Geneva, St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become a symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Monument are among the main sights to be seen. Overnight at our hotel.
Geneva - Como - Lugano - Milan

We will take a short walk around this natural wonder, where green and blue meet, and stop for photos. In this charming town, known for its picturesque villages, the towns of Como and Lecco, Piazza Cavour, and the Duomo dating back to the 14th century are among the places we will see. After our tour, we continue to Lugano. We will enjoy a panoramic tour around Lake Lugano, a natural wonder within Switzerland that will captivate us with its unique scenery, and stop for photos. Early in the morning, we are picked up from your hotel in Zurich by our private vehicle and begin our pleasant journey. Our first stop is the Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe. We take a short break here. You can stand close to the roaring waters and feel the power of this natural wonder, and take plenty of photos. After our visit to the waterfall, we continue south. Along the way, our guide shares with us Switzerland’s cultural richness and history. We then cross the border into Liechtenstein, one of the smallest yet most impressive countries in the world. When we arrive in the capital, Vaduz, we are given free time in the city center. Guests may shop at boutique stores, sit in cafés, or view Vaduz Castle on the hill. Those who wish can have a souvenir Liechtenstein stamp placed in their passports. After leaving Vaduz, we continue this time toward Austria. We arrive in the lakeside town of Bregenz on the shore of Lake Constance. Here we take a short break by the lake. After Austria, our next stop is Germany.
