Johannesburg – Zimbabwe
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to Johannesburg Airport by vehicle. Following passport and baggage procedures, we will take our flight from Johannesburg to Zimbabwe (VFA-LVI). Upon arrival, we will be transferred to our hotel in Zimbabwe. After a short break, we set off towards the magnificent Zambezi River, which forms the natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, immersed in Africa's enchanting atmosphere. During a leisurely boat tour on the river's calm waters, we will discover nature's breathtaking beauty and have the opportunity to observe birds and wildlife along the way. One of the most magical moments of the day, the sunset, will accompany this journey with the beauty of a painting; the sky, painted in thousands of shades of red and orange, will reflect on the waters of the Zambezi, offering an unforgettable view. At the end of our tour, we will return to our hotel in Zimbabwe. (Note: Depending on flight dates and availability, this may involve a connecting flight.)
Victoria Falls
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off to explore the Victoria Falls, which straddle the Zambezi River and form the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most famous natural wonders, these falls are considered the world's largest curtain waterfall, spanning approximately 1.7 kilometers in width and reaching a height of 108 meters. Throughout the day, we will stroll along the walking trails surrounding the falls, offering opportunities to view this magnificent natural phenomenon from various vantage points. Rainbows formed by the mist rising from the falls will provide some of the day's most breathtaking moments. During the tour, detailed information about the falls will be shared, and there will be photo stops at panoramic viewing terraces. In the afternoon, free time will be provided for observing local wildlife and shopping. Visitors will have the chance to purchase local handicrafts and souvenirs. At the end of the day, we will return to our hotel to relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Zimbabwe – Botswana – Zimbabwe
After breakfast at our hotel in the early morning, we depart and embark on a journey that includes approximately one and a half hours of road travel to reach the Botswana border. Once passport and border formalities are completed, following a short rest, we set off in 4x4 vehicles to begin our land safari in Chobe National Park. We will enjoy a memorable safari experience observing wild animals living freely in their natural habitats. Afterward, we have lunch by the river and continue with a river safari. Throughout the safari, we will have the opportunity to get up close and photograph numerous species native to the region, including elephants, buffalo, hippos, and crocodiles. At the end of the day, we conclude our tour and return to our hotel in Zimbabwe for an overnight stay.
Zimbabwe – Cape Town
After breakfast at our hotel this morning, we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Cape Town. Following check-in and baggage procedures, we will depart on a local airline to Cape Town. Upon arrival, we will board our private vehicle and begin our panoramic city tour of Cape Town. During the tour, we will experience the harmony between past and present in the city center, feel the traces of history and the vibrant spirit of the city in the colorful, culturally rich Bo-Kaap (Malay) neighborhood, and then be welcomed by Company Gardens—a serene, lush green space considered one of the city's most beautiful areas. With its historic buildings, pleasant walking paths, and elegant landscaping, this area also offers insight into the city's colonial era. Throughout the panoramic tour, we will learn about Cape Town's architecture, bustling streets, and lifestyle integrated with nature, gaining a firsthand appreciation of why it is regarded as one of the world's most beautiful cities. After the tour, we will return to our hotel. Once settled in our rooms, guests who wish may enjoy free time to explore the surroundings or simply relax.
Cape Town
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, you will have a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our optional half-day tour to Cape Point with lunch included (USD 150), organized by our guide. The route passes through Bantry Bay, Camps Bay, and Llandudno before arriving at Hout Bay, a charming fishing village. We will board a local boat and set sail for Duiker Island to view the famous Cape Fur Seals from the water. After this 45-minute excursion, we will spend some time exploring the local handicraft market and fish market. Next, we travel via Constantia Neck and Ou Kaapse Weg to False Bay, passing through the picturesque town of Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay, before reaching Simon's Town, South Africa's main naval base. Here, we will visit the African penguin colony in Hout Bay. Following a short drive, we arrive at Cape Point, where the two oceans meet, and spend the remainder of the afternoon there. After the tour, we return to our hotel for an overnight stay.
Cape Town – Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, we will have free time until our flight. For those who wish, we are embarking on an unforgettable journey to explore the nature and wine culture of South Africa: a full-day excursion with lunch to Table Mountain & Stellenbosch Wine Estate ($150 USD). First, we head to Table Mountain, the iconic symbol of Cape Town and one of the world's most impressive natural formations. We will ascend by cable car to the summit at approximately 1,085 meters above sea level, enjoying panoramic views of Cape Town's unique cityscape, the Atlantic Ocean, surrounding bays, and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. During the walk on the summit, we will have the opportunity to closely observe the region's distinctive flora and capture stunning photographs. After some free time, we will descend via cable car and continue our tour. In the Cape Winelands region, we will enjoy wine tasting in the welcoming atmosphere of a local estate. While strolling among the vineyards, we can observe how grapes ripen under the sun; if the season permits, we will also visit historic cellars to learn how wines are carefully stored. Next, we will enjoy lunch at a restaurant that captures the warm and intimate spirit of local cuisine, where regional flavors and fine wines come together to create an unforgettable culinary experience. Afterward, we will travel to Stellenbosch, South Africa's second-oldest city, for a scenic tour. Here, we can wander through cobblestone streets lined with stone and oak trees, exploring a maze-like network of sidewalk cafes, charming bistros, boutique shops, antique stores, and souvenir boutiques. Those interested may visit local art galleries or take short breaks while listening to street musicians. Finally, we will transfer to Cape Town International Airport. After completing passport and ticket procedures, we will board Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight to Istanbul. Overnight on the plane.
