Guests who wish may join the optional “Tanah Lot Temple” tour organized by our guide (65 USD). This traditional performance, staged entirely without musical instruments and accompanied only by the rhythmic sounds and chants of a male chorus, tells episodes from the Ramayana epic and the story of the monkey chant. Guided by the storyteller called the Dalang, the scenes gain emotional intensity as the dancers’ movements gradually accelerate in rhythm, creating a ritualistic trance atmosphere. As one of the most impressive experiences of Balinese culture, this performance will be one of the unforgettable moments of your trip to the island. At the end of the tour, return to the hotel.
