BALI WILL START APPLYING A TOURIST TAX TO FOREIGN TOURISTS FROM FEBRUARY 14, 2024.

The Bali Government will apply a Tourist Tax to foreign tourists traveling by air, sea, and land. The tax will need to be paid electronically and will not apply to local Indonesian tourists. A tourism tax of 150,000 IDR (10 USD) will be charged from all foreign visitors.

1- Our travelers will be able to fill in their data and pay the fee by logging in to the Love Bali Application via the website https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id or on mobile before arriving at the arrival gate in Bali.

2- The payment method to be used must be credit card, bank transfer, virtual account, and QRIS.

3- If payment cannot be made through the Love Bali application, foreign tourists will need to make cashless payments at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) payment points at the airport.

4- When the transaction is successful, our foreign tourist passengers will receive a notification that the fee has been paid. After payment is completed, our passengers will be able to enter the country.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

** Every traveler traveling to Malaysia is required to create the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) three (3) days before arrival by filling out the form they will access from the link below. This document, which will be sent to their email addresses, is necessary to facilitate travelers’ arrival in Malaysia and speed up entry procedures. To submit the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card, travelers must use the official online platform and provide the required information completely. All travelers traveling to Malaysia are required to fill out and submit the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) with your personal information through the link below three (3) days before their flight departure date. Once the process is completed, the MDAC is sent by email.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years.

In destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the "Documents Required for Visa" list that your agency will provide to you for the visa application. In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed and, if the country applies a visa to T.R. citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger. As there is a possibility that our guests under the age of 18 may be asked for a document showing the mutual consent of the parents by the police officer on duty at the country entry-exit points when traveling alone or with only one of their parents, we advise our guests under 18 and their parents to be sensitive about this issue.

HEALTH

There is no vaccination requirement for entry into Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. We do not expect any issue with the food served that would negatively affect your health. We recommend that you do not drink tap water.

EXTRA TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Extra tours and activities are organized by the local agency we work with with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not met, trips cannot be made, or the prices, content, and vehicle used for extra tours/activities may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums, ruins, or venues at the destinations and weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the stated km. 

3-person rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed provided to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding and coach beds, participants making 3rd person and/or child reservations are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type. 

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts included in the tour program and taken at the hotel are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited, and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.

CURRENCY

The currency of Singapore (SGD) is the Singapore Dollar.

Malaysia’s currency is the Ringgit (MYR),

and Indonesia’s is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).

We recommend that you bring small denominations in EURO and Dollars with you during your trip.

TIME ZONE

There is a 5-hour time difference between Southeast Asia, our destination, and Turkey in winter time and 4 hours in summer time. When it is 12:00 in Turkey, it is 17:00 in Kuala Lumpur.

CLOTHING and NECESSARY ITEMS

We recommend that you bring T-shirts, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton pants, shorts, comfortable walking shoes that can be easily put on and taken off, and a light jacket for the evenings. In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, their chargers, and spare memory cards.

FOOD CULTURE

Chicken and seafood are quite common in Southeast Asia. Local spices are used in the meals, but you will find that the food we have during the tour suits your taste.

ELECTRICITY

Although electricity is 230 volts in all the mentioned countries, 220 volts is used in the hotels where you will stay. Sockets are A-type two-pin and B-type three-pin sockets. SHOPPING

In addition to souvenirs, in the countries mentioned it is possible to find products such as wristwatches specific to the destination country and natural food and drink items. You can also obtain electronic goods, etc. However, there are restrictions on bringing electronic goods into our country. Items above the allowed quantity are confiscated at customs.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed. The passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees.

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, conducted panoramically from within the vehicle with guide commentary, and do not include museum or site entrance fees, lasting at most 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of the agency if they cannot be carried out on the day and time of the tour due to roads closed by local authorities, places where visits or entry are not permitted, or if they become impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible at closed roads or points where vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul – Singapore
We meet at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal, and after ticketing and baggage procedures, we depart for Singapore on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival at Singapore Airport, we transfer to our hotel with our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Afterwards, we will have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Singapore – Bali - Ubud
After breakfast at our hotel, we will take our panoramic city tour. At the end of the tour, guests who wish may join the Singapore River Cruise, which our guide will organize optionally (70 USD). On this tour, we enjoy a pleasant ride along the Singapore River on a bumboat (a wooden boat unique to Singapore). Starting from the point where Sir Stamford Raffles first landed, we see the contrast between historic wharves and modern skyscrapers, and discover the lively atmosphere of the restored riverside shophouses. Passing under Cavenagh, Clemenceau, and Anderson bridges, we admire important city landmarks such as the Merlion, Raffles Landing Site, and Esplanade from a panoramic perspective. After the tour, we transfer by private vehicle to the airport for our flight to Denpasar, Bali. Following ticketing, passport, and baggage procedures, we depart for Denpasar with the local airline. After a journey of approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes, we arrive in Denpasar and transfer to Ubud by private vehicle. Overnight at our hotel.
Village
After breakfast at our hotel, the rest of the day is free. Guests who wish may join our optional Kintamani (Volcano) tour with lunch (110 USD), organized by our guide. On this tour, we first head to Batubulan village to watch the “Barong Dance,” the local dance of Bali. After this beautiful performance, which tells the struggle between good and evil, we continue to Celuk, the village of artists. In Celuk, we will have the opportunity to see how silver and wood are transformed into works of art by skillful hands. We then go to Kintamani to admire the unique beauty of Mount Batur and have our lunch with a view of the crater lake. After lunch, we visit the Tirta Empul Temple, also known as the Holy Water Temple. Following our temple visit, we visit the Gunung Kawi royal monuments. After our visits, we have the opportunity to see the Tegalalang rice terraces. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Ubud - Bali
After breakfast at our hotel, we will check out of our rooms and head to our hotel in Bali. We will enjoy the sea all day. Guests who wish may join the optional “Bali Breezes” tour (with lunch – 110 USD) arranged by our guide. We depart from our hotel toward the Klungkung region. Our first stop is Penglipuran Village, famous for its traditional houses. Here we will visit the homes and closely observe how local Balinese people live. After lunch at a local restaurant with magnificent views, we continue our journey along roads surrounded by tropical forests toward the Bukit Jambul region. We visit Besakih Temple, the main temple of Balinese Hinduism, and learn detailed information about Hinduism. Afterwards, we visit Kehen Temple, one of Bali’s most beautiful temples and the central temple of the Bangli Kingdom. After our final stop, we head to our new hotel in Bali. Overnight at our hotel.
Bali
After our breakfast at the hotel, we will have free time. Those who wish may join the optional Uluwatu Temple & Padang Padang Beach & Jimbaran Seafood Dinner Tour (110 USD), which will be organized by our guide and starts at noon and ends after dinner. Departing from our hotel around noon, we arrive at Uluwatu Temple. Built in the 11th century atop a 75-meter cliff, this temple is one of Bali’s most important temples, where you can admire the magnificent view of the Indian Ocean. After our visit to the temple, we head to Padang Padang Beach, whose small bay you may remember from the film Eat, Pray & Love, for a swimming and relaxation break where you can enjoy the Indian Ocean. We end the day with our seafood dinner at sunset on Jimbaran Beach, at restaurants with tables set along the shore. After enjoying the sunset and the breathtaking natural scenery, we return to our hotel to rest. Our guides, who will be with you throughout the day, will assist you with any requests. Overnight at our hotel.
Bali
After breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Sacred Monkey Forest tour, which our guide will organize as an optional excursion (with lunch – 110 USD). On our tour, we first head to the Sacred Monkey Forest, the symbol of Ubud. There, we visit the monkeys and the Pura Saraswati Temple, famous for its uniquely beautiful architecture, and then proceed to the Ubud Market, where you can find various souvenir options. We then go to a local restaurant for lunch. After the meal, we visit Tegenungan Waterfall, which offers a visual feast. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Bali to Kuala Lumpur
After breakfast at our hotel, we check out and transfer to the airport by private vehicle for our flight to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival, we will use our private vehicle waiting at the airport to take our Kuala Lumpur city tour. During our city tour, we will see, panoramically, Independence Square, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the Royal Palace, the National Museum, Parliament, the National Monument, the National Mosque, and the Railway Station. After the tour, we will have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Kuala Lumpur- Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, our guests who wish may join the Batu Caves tour (90 USD), which will be arranged optionally by our guide. The Hindu sacred cave temple is also considered the largest cave temple in the world. In front of the cave, we are greeted by the giant Hindu god Lord Murugan statue. Then, accompanied by monkeys, we will climb 272 steep steps. At the end of the climb, we will find ourselves inside a deep and large cave. After exploring this highly fascinating cave temple, we will also be able to see the Petronas Twin Towers, the silhouette of Kuala Lumpur, from here. At the end of the tour, we head to Kuala Lumpur Airport for our flight to Istanbul.
