ROMA & FLORENCE TOUR TK (FCO-BLQ) 2027 SUMMER

 DAY 1               ISTANBUL – ROME

We meet our valued guests in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After baggage and ticket procedures, we fly with the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Rome with our private bus waiting for us at the airport. Among the places to see on our city tour are Castel Sant’Angelo where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, Piazza Venezia where Mussolini addressed the people and the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, the Colosseum which hosted gladiator fights, the Trevi Fountain famous from the film La Dolce Vita, the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps, and the Spanish Steps featuring a sunken ship fountain. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 2                ROME

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour (80€ per person) organized by our guide. After visiting Nemi village, known for its natural beauty where popes spent their summers, its charm that makes you want to live there forever, and its famous mountain strawberries, we head to Italy’s most famous shopping area, Castel Romano Outlet, for free time for shopping. Then we move towards San Pietro Square, accepted as the center of Christianity. After arrival, free time for visiting the Basilica and the Square. Guests who wish may join the extra Rome by Night Tour (35€ per person) organized by our guide. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 3                ROME – FLORENCE

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Guests who wish have the opportunity to join the route-side extra Orvieto Tour (35€ per person) organized by our guide. In Orvieto, which holds an important place in Italy’s art and general history and possesses extraordinary natural beauty, after visiting the ancient city center and Orvieto Duomo, we move to Florence. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Florence. Among the places to see on our tour are the Arno River dividing Florence into two, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza Della Signoria housing masterpieces of the Renaissance such as the statues of Hercules and David, Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo with Italy’s third highest dome, and the Baptistery famous for its doors. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel located in Montecatini. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 4                FLORENCE        

Guests who wish may join the extra Tuscany Tour (110 Euro) organized by our guide. Our first stop is Pisa, where we see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which has become the symbol of Italy, and the nearby Miracoli Square. Then we set off for San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel like you are in the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and Cisterna Square. After the tour, we move to Siena. In Siena, where neighborhood culture is prominently visible, there are a total of 17 neighborhoods. Among the places to see on our Siena city tour are Campo Square where the Palio horse races are held with the participation of the neighborhoods, the unfinished Siena Duomo, and the narrow streets of the city. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 5                FLORENCE – BOLOGNA - ISTANBUL

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel early in the morning and transfer to Bologna Airport. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul with the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. With our arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
