ROMA & FLORENCE TOUR 2027 SUMMER (FCO-BLQ) TK

DAY 1                ISTANBUL – ROME

We meet our valued guests in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After baggage and ticket procedures, we fly on the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Rome with our private bus waiting for us at the airport. Among the places to be visited during our city tour are Castel Sant’Angelo where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, Piazza Venezia where Mussolini addressed the people and the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, the Colosseum which hosted gladiator fights, the Trevi Fountain made famous by the film La Dolce Vita, the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps, and the Spanish Steps featuring a sunken ship fountain. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 2                ROME

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join the extra Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour (80€ per person) organized by our guide. After visiting the region known for its natural beauty where popes spent their summer seasons and the village of Nemi, famous for mountain strawberries, where you will want to live forever, we have free time for shopping in Italy’s most famous shopping area, Castel Romano Outlet. Then we head to St. Peter’s Square, considered the center of Christianity. After arrival, we have free time to visit the Basilica and the Square. Guests who wish can also join the extra Rome by Night Tour (35€ per person) organized by our guide. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 3                ROME – FLORENCE

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Guests who wish can join the route-side extra Orvieto Tour (35€ per person) organized by our guide. In Orvieto, which holds an important place in Italian art and general history and possesses extraordinary natural beauty, after visiting the ancient city center and the Orvieto Duomo, we move towards Florence. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Florence. During our tour, the Arno River dividing Florence, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza Della Signoria housing masterpieces of the Renaissance such as the statues of Hercules and David, the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo with Italy’s third highest dome, and the Baptistery famous for its doors are among the places to be visited. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel located in Montecatini. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 4                FLORENCE        

Guests who wish can join the extra Tuscany Tour (110 Euro) organized by our guide. Our first stop is Pisa, where we see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which has become a symbol of Italy, and the nearby Miracoli Square. Then we set off for San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel like you are in the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and the Cisterna Square. After the tour, we move towards Siena. In Siena, where neighborhood culture is prominently visible, there are a total of 17 neighborhoods. The Campo Square where the Palio horse races are held with the participation of the neighborhoods, the unfinished construction of the Siena Duomo, and the narrow streets of the city are among the places to be visited on our Siena city tour. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 5                FLORENCE – BOLOGNA - ISTANBUL

After breakfast, we check out from the hotel early in the morning and transfer to Bologna Airport. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul on the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. With our arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
