Tour Program
Istanbul – Baku City Tour

Meeting at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Departures Terminal 3 hours before our flight at 20:25. After ticket, passport, and baggage procedures, we depart on a scheduled flight to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. After arriving at 03:05 local time, we transfer to the hotel and complete our check-in procedures. Free time to rest until the time to be determined by our guide. After breakfast at the hotel, we go to the Martyrs’ Park. At the point where we get off our vehicle, we see the Azerbaijan Parliament and the Flame Towers, iconic structures of Baku. We visit the Martyrs’ Park (Highland Park) and Monument, built to show the Azerbaijani people’s respect for their martyrs, after losing thousands of people in wars and massacres over the years, and pray for all our martyrs. Afterwards, we take a pleasant 4-minute ride by funicular with the view of Baku. Upon arrival at the coast, we take another walk along the promenade and have a tea and coffee break. Guests who wish may visit the Carpet Museum during free time, tour the Deniz Mall shopping center, which impresses visitors with its extraordinary architecture, or ride the giant Ferris wheel called the Eye of Baku and watch Baku from above. Then we begin our İçeri Şeher (Old City) tour, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000. Among the main sites we will see are the Shirvanshahs’ Palace, built by Ibrahim Khalilullah in the 15th century, the Maiden Tower with a history of 2,500 years, the Juma Mosque, and the Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais. We take a pleasant walk through the charming and historic streets of the old city accompanied by our guide’s explanations. Gathering at the specified time and transfer to our restaurant for dinner. After the meal, transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.

Bakü - Shirvanshah Meal
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we head to the Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center, one of the city’s greatest symbols with its modern and striking architecture. In this magnificent structure, designed by the world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, we visit the museum, which houses a very rich collection ranging from classic automobiles to musical instruments, from traditional clothing to historical artifacts and models of Azerbaijan’s iconic landmarks. Afterwards, we proceed to Nizami Street. This is Baku’s most popular shopping and social avenue. Adorned with shops, cafes, and a variety of architectural styles, this street offers the opportunity to get acquainted with both modern and traditional Baku. Following the museum visit, we provide free time for shopping so that you can buy souvenirs for your loved ones at Baku’s modern shopping centers or local markets and explore the city at your own pace. In the evening, we gather at the point determined by our guide and head for dinner to the famous Shirvanshah Museum Restaurant, a very special venue planned as both a museum and a restaurant. After our unforgettable dinner in a historic atmosphere, accompanied by live music and local Azerbaijani delicacies, we transfer back to the hotel and rest.
Baku – Natural and Historical Wonders (Gobustan & Absheron)
After having our breakfast at the hotel, we check out and complete our departure procedures. Taking our luggage with us, we leave the hotel and head toward Gobustan, located 70 km south of Baku and recognized as the richest region in Azerbaijan in terms of archaeological artifacts, as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gobustan, situated near the Caspian Sea and described as an open-air museum, provides important insights into prehistoric social life, hunting, and beliefs through its carved rocks and inscribed stones. We complete our visit to the Gobustan Museum and the open-air site. Then we set our course for the Absheron Peninsula. Here, we will first see the Ateshgah Architectural Complex, one of the three Zoroastrian temples in the world. This structure, whose sacred fire has never gone out for centuries, is one of the most important pilgrimage sites of ancient times according to Zoroastrian belief. After visiting Ateshgah, we will visit Yanardag, the “Land of Fire” named by the famous traveler Marco Polo. You will experience mesmerizing moments in front of this natural phenomenon, which has been burning continuously for centuries due to natural gas escaping from underground. At the end of our tour, we head to our restaurant for dinner. After the meal, transfer to the airport for departure.
