FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & IMPORTANT INFORMATION

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT  

This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people.  If sufficient participation is not reached, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the start of the tour. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years.

In destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents listed in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you for the visa application.

To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed, and if the destination country applies a visa to T.C. citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

Since our guests under the age of 18 may be asked for a document showing the joint consent of the parents by the police officer on duty at the country entry-exit when traveling alone or with only one of their parents; we recommend that our guests under the age of 18 and their parents show sensitivity in this regard.

HEALTH 

We do not think that there will be any problem threatening your health with the meals to be taken in good restaurants and hotels in the region. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and in terms of fruit, eat fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapples. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entry and on return to the country.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES        

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the excursions cannot be carried out, or the prices, content, and vehicle to be used for the optional tour/activity may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the open/closed status of museums, archaeological sites or venues at the places to be visited and according to weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION     

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated km.

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds and coach beds, participants are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible crampedness in the rooms and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations.

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts taken at the hotel among the services included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served for groups in a separate hall allocated to the group.

CURRENCY     

It is useful to have American Dollars (USD) with you.

TIME ZONE      

The Eastern America Region is 8 hours behind Turkey in time zone.

For example, when it is 16:30 in Turkey, it is 08:30 in Eastern America.

CLOTHING AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS    

If going in the summer season, we recommend that you bring t-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a thin jacket and a thin sweater for the evenings. In addition; you can also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, video camera and their chargers, and spare memory cards. In winter, we recommend clothes that allow you to move comfortably and keep you warm.

FOOD CULTURE            

The country does not have a distinct cuisine, and a fast-food-oriented culture prevails. However, you can see many culinary cultures in the states. Although Chinese cuisine is widespread, you can find Turkish cuisine dishes in many states. Even if there is no food culture, its cuisine contains many cultures.

ELECTRICITY            

The electric current used in America is 110 Volts. In Turkey, this is 220 Volts. We recommend that you bring a plug adapter with you.

SHOPPING          

There are shopping opportunities in shopping malls located in city centers and in small businesses selling souvenirs.

IMPORTANT NOTES            

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for a destination/passport requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country is possible. The passport police have the authority to prevent you from entering the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or hours may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obliged to inform such changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay field tax and field services fee

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities and carried out panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide narration, lasting at most 2-3 hours and not including museum or archaeological site entrances. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they do not take place on the day and time of the tour because local authorities do not permit visiting or entering, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if it becomes impossible to conduct the tour due to weather conditions, Bin Rota is not responsible for the inability to perform the said tours. Some tours may be carried out by public transportation or on foot where possible at closed roads or points where vehicle access is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - New York
After meeting at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, following your baggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter, we depart on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to New York. Upon arrival in New York, after meeting your guide, we leave the airport by private vehicle and head to our hotel for transfer. (Hotel check-in time is 15:00 and later.) Guests who wish may join the New York city tour (USD 100), which will be arranged optionally by our guide. We begin our tour of New York, one of the most exciting and colorful cities in the world, with Central Park, which is larger than Monaco and is accompanied by the colors of thousands of plant species. Then we continue to the famous Times Square, the heart of the city; the New York Public Library; Bryant Park; Grand Central Terminal, which has hosted many films; the Empire State Building (from the outside); and Rockefeller Center, a commercial complex, where we conclude our tour. After the tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
New York
All day free at leisure. Guests who wish may join our optional New York Icons tour, organized by our guide for 200 USD. First, we take a boat to Liberty Island, where the Statue of Liberty, one of the symbols of New York and the United States, stands. According to the story, it was kept in a warehouse in France for years because it was thought that erecting such a large statue in Egypt would provoke public reaction. Later, French additions were made to the statue, and it was gifted to the USA. After seeing the monument on site, we board the boat again and return to New York. Then, we visit places such as the Financial District and the World Trade Center. Next, we take fast elevators up to the 101st floor of the One World Observatory, where we will have the chance to see and photograph New York’s unique view from a height of 386 meters. After enjoying this magnificent view, we take a walk on the Brooklyn Bridge, which was once tested for strength with elephants and is frequently featured in TV series and films. After the tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
New York - Orlando
We are leaving the hotel in the morning for the flight to Orlando and heading to the airport. We will depart for Orlando on a scheduled flight operated by local airlines. Upon arrival at Orlando Airport, we will transfer to our hotel with our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Those who wish may join the Winter Park town, boat tour, and Mall & Disney Springs Night Tour, which our guide will organize optionally (100 USD). First, in the Winter Park area we will tour by boat the interconnected lakes of Virginia, Osceola, and Mizell. We will see the summer homes of the wealthy of the Eastern United States by the lake, the famous Rollins University, and the natural beauty and lake life of the region, and have free time on Park Avenue, famous for its boutique restaurants, cafes, and shops. Our next stop is Disney Springs, where special concept stores, bars, and restaurants are located; entertainment is organized 365 days a year in this world of fun and pleasure. At the end of our tour, we will transfer to our hotel to rest. Overnight at our hotel.
Orlando
The whole day is free. Guests who wish may join the optional Universal Studios tour (220 USD) arranged by our guide. In these studios, where many films such as Harry Potter and Fast & Furious were shot, and where there are also many amusement parks, you may find yourself in Jurassic Park in one section or in Harry Potter’s magical room in another. You can come across Spider-Man or Hulk, and with the special effects you may feel as if you are inside a movie scene. At the end of our tour, we will transfer to our hotel to rest. Overnight at our hotel.
Orlando - Miami
In the morning, we check out of our rooms and board our vehicle for our journey to Miami. After an enjoyable trip, we arrive in Miami. Before heading to the hotel, guests who wish may join the Outlet Mall tour, which will be arranged optionally by our guide (60 USD). On this tour, you can shop at the factory outlet stores of famous brands at very affordable prices at the region’s largest outlet. At the end of the tour, we proceed to our hotel to rest after the day’s fatigue. Overnight at our hotel.
Miami
The whole day is free at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Miami city tour organized by our guide (100 USD) to get to know this beautiful city, America’s holiday paradise, more closely. Our tour begins with Miami Beach, America’s famous holiday and entertainment center. Our first stop will be South Beach, where we will see the endless Miami Beach shoreline. After walking along Ocean Drive, we will have the opportunity to see and photograph the Art Deco buildings and the famous mansion of the renowned fashion designer Versace, one of the symbols of Miami Beach. After free time for a walk and shopping on Lincoln Road, which can be described as Miami’s Istiklal Avenue, we visit the Wynwood district, where famous street graffiti artists have worked together to turn it into a massive work of art. During our visit to Little Havana, where Cuban immigrants live, we will have the chance to try the famous Cuban coffee, “Colada.” At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel to rest from the day’s fatigue. Miami
All day is free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Key West tour (USD 160), organized by our guide, to visit the southernmost point of the USA. Key West, which you will travel to with views of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other, is actually a chain of islands made up of many small islets. It is a beautiful town with lovely houses featuring large verandas and ceiling fans on the verandas. During our tour, we will see the house of American Nobel Prize winner Ernest Hemingway, Duval Street with shops, cafes, restaurants, and art galleries on both sides, the SouthernMost Point at the other end of this street, marked by a stone that says Cuba 90 miles to indicate that you are at the southernmost tip of the USA, and the winter home of former President Harry S. Truman. On our return journey, we will stop in Isla Morada for a break, then gather at the time determined by our guide and head to our hotel to rest. Overnight at our hotel.
Miami - Istanbul
Free time until the airport transfer time determined by our guide. Those who wish may join the optional Everglades National Park - Alligator (80 USD) and/or Miami Boat (80 USD) tour organized by our guide. Our first stop will be Everglades National Park, where we will have the opportunity to get to know alligators up close and even take photos with baby alligators. Afterwards, following our Everglades tour with hovercrafts, air-cushion boats that will give us the chance to see alligators in their natural habitat, we will head to Miami for another boat tour. On our Miami boat tour, we will have the chance to see the city’s most magnificent mansions located along the waterfront. At the end of the tour, we depart for Miami International Airport for our flight to Istanbul. After baggage, ticketing, and customs procedures, we will fly to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines scheduled service. We will spend the night on board.
