Sabiha Gökçen – Belgrade (Mahmut Orhan Concert)
Meeting our valued guests at the international departures terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport at least 3 hours before the flight. Following ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Belgrade at 12:50 on AJET Airlines’ scheduled flight VF113. Arrival is at 13:45 local time. After arrival, we will leave the airport and begin our city tour. During our tour of Belgrade, one of Europe’s oldest cities, known as the “White City,” we will see Belgrade Fortress, one of the Ottoman navy’s supply centers, located at the point where the Sava River meets the Danube, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded in pursuit of its conquest, but which was ultimately conquered by Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent; as well as Kalemegdan Park, Tašmajdan Park, the Military Museum, the tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, the conqueror of Morea, and the Bayraklı Mosque. Afterward, free time. Guests who wish may join our guide’s optional Tito–Tesla tour. During this tour, we will visit the museum-mausoleum of Josip Broz Tito, the legendary president of Yugoslavia. We will then visit the museum of Nikola Tesla, the Serbian-born inventor, where we will have the opportunity to examine his inventions. At the end of the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Later, we will meet at the time determined by our guide and head to the concert venue for the Mahmut Orhan concert. Tito–Tesla Tour: €50
Belgrade
Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish may join our guide’s optional Novi Sad–Sremski Karlovci & Inđija Outlet tour. We depart by private vehicle for Novi Sad. Our first stop is Sremski Karlovci. In this beautiful town, the Treaty of Karlowitz was signed in 1699 after 72 days of negotiations between the Ottoman Empire and Austria-Hungary, Venice, and Poland. During our visit, we will see the four-door venue where the treaty was signed, as well as the town square, the Four Lions Fountain, and historic Orthodox and Catholic churches. After a coffee break, we continue our journey. Along the way, we will see Belgrade Gate, the Clock Tower, the Upper Town, the Long Barracks, and Leopold Gate at Petrovaradin Fortress. We then arrive in Novi Sad. Vojvodina is a multi-ethnic province in northern Serbia. Economically, it is the most developed region of Serbia, and its capital is Novi Sad. Upon arrival, we begin our tour. During our walking tour here, we will see Freedom Square, the National Theatre, Dunavska Street and the riverfront, the Svetozar Miletić Monument, the Catholic Cathedral, the Orthodox Cathedral of St. George, St. Nicholas Church, and the Synagogue panoramically. After free time, we transfer to our hotel at the end of the tour. On the way back, we stop at Inđija Outlet and allow free time. We then return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel. Belgrade – Sabiha Gökçen
After breakfast, check out of the rooms and enjoy free time until the time determined by our guide. We then depart for Belgrade Airport. Following baggage drop-off and check-in procedures, we fly to Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 14:45 on AJET Airlines’ scheduled flight VF114. We arrive at 17:30 local time, marking the end of our tour.
