Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and must not be older than 10 years.

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be permitted. The passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country. Gazella is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger. 

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be submitted with the documents specified in the “Required Documents for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you.

In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed, and if it is a country that applies a visa to T.R. citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger. 

Since our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked by the police officer at the country entry/exit to present a document showing the mutual consent of the parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be careful about this matter.

Health

There is no vaccination requirement for entry into Germany. We do not think there will be any health-threatening issues with meals taken at the region’s good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend being careful about food and drink, definitely consuming bottled water, avoiding ice, milk and dairy products, eating meat and fish that you are sure are well cooked, and choosing fruits that can be peeled, such as bananas and pineapple.

Meals

We do not think there will be any health-threatening issues with the meals you will have during your cruise. However, when you are not on the ship, we recommend being careful about food and drink, definitely consuming bottled water, avoiding ice, milk and dairy products, eating meat and fish that you are sure are well cooked, and choosing fruits that can be peeled, such as bananas and pineapple. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entries and when returning home.

Optional Tours & Activities

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we work with with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the tours cannot be held, or the prices, content, and vehicle used for optional tours/activities may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums, ruins, or venues in the places to be visited and according to weather conditions.

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide narration and not including museum or archaeological site प्रवेश fees. Panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of the Tour Operator if they cannot be carried out on the day and time of the tour because local authorities do not permit visiting or entering, or due to closed roads because of any event; likewise, the Tour Operator is not responsible if the tour cannot be carried out due to weather conditions. Some tours may, where possible, be carried out by public transportation or on foot in places where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted.

Time Zone

Germany, Luxembourg, France, Belgium and the Netherlands are 1 hour behind Turkey during daylight saving time and 2 hours behind during winter time.

Phone Usage

Your mobile phone line can be used if it is open for international calls (roaming).

Clothing and Necessary Items

If traveling in the summer season, we recommend bringing T-shirts, short- and long-sleeved shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for evenings, and a light sweater. In addition, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, their chargers, and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keeps you warm.

Food Culture

When German cuisine is mentioned, cakes, potatoes and of course beer come to mind first. In this culture, which has a great variety of meat and vegetable dishes, there is also a wide variety of beers and wines.

French cuisine, whose roots date back to the Middle Ages, has a rich culture. Famous for its well-known local drinks and a variety of cheeses, French cuisine is known worldwide for meat dishes cooked with different sauces and delicacies such as the famous desserts crème brûlée, macaron and soufflé.

Belgian cuisine combines the traditions of German and French cuisines.

Although Dutch cuisine is not very rich, its cheeses are worth tasting. The other flavors are generally fast-food style.

 Electricity

The electrical outlets are the same as in Turkey.

Shopping

There are shopping malls in city centers and the opportunity to shop at small souvenir stalls.

The agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current tour and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees
