Northern Thailand - Golden Triangle (06.12.2026)

On this special route, you will witness the country's fascinating history and create unique memories surrounded by nature. On our journey beginning in Bangkok's lively atmosphere, you will discover royal temples and vibrant street life. As you embark on a journey into Thailand's history at the Ancient City of Ayutthaya, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will be enchanted by the traditional architecture and mystical temples in Phitsanulok and Sukhotai.

While the tranquil nature and local lifestyle of Lampang and Lampoon invite you to serenity, the temples and natural beauty of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai will add a spiritual depth to our tour. Our program has been carefully organized with hotel accommodations, transportation, and guiding services. We offer an ideal route for travelers who want to deeply explore the cultural and historical heritage unique to northern Thailand. This journey, full of surprises at every stop, will allow you to experience the richness of Northern Thailand.

1. DAY - ISTANBUL

We meet at Istanbul Airport (New Airport) at 16:00 for our Bangkok flight departing at 19:40. After completing check-in and baggage drop procedures, we pass through passport control and prepare for our flight.

DAY 2 - BANGKOK

After our total 9-hour flight, we arrive at Bangkok Airport at 08:20. Due to the time difference between Thailand and Turkey, we need to postpone resting in order not to experience jet lag, so after arriving at the airport, we take our Bangkok City Tour with our private vehicle. . The world-famous 46-meter-long and 15-meter-high Reclining Buddha statue, the Sitting Buddha statue, Stupas (tombstones), the Royal Temple Wat Pho, and Wat Traimitr Temple, which houses a Gold Buddha statue weighing 5.5 tons, are among the places to visit. Also; Chinatown, the Flower Market, the Parliament Building, and the residence of Thailand's current king in Bangkok are among the places we will see panoramically. After lunch at Viva Aviv restaurant, we will go on our Canals Tour. In Bangkok's historic canals, you will have the chance to see unusual sights that you cannot see anywhere else in the world with our private boat reserved for our group. You will get to know the life of Thais along the canals up close, witness the mingling of Thailand's rich and poor, and also have the opportunity to watch a real "Cobra Show". We will feed the sacred catfish in front of one of the temples, and before ending our tour, we will see the magnificent Wat Arun, one of Bangkok's 3 most famous temples, panoramically with its impressive architecture. Then we check in to our hotel, Montien Riverside Hotel, located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, which divides Bangkok in two, and go to rest. For our dinner, we will go to the Chao Phraya River Cruise boat. During this buffet dinner on a beautiful boat, we will be cruising on the Chao Phraya River, and various shows will accompany our meal. After dinner, we go to the final stop of the day, Asiatique, the newest entertainment center in Bangkok with more than 1500 shops and restaurants, built in the area where the first trade between Thailand and overseas European countries took place, where history and modernity blend together, and which dates back to the historical Siam Kingdom. While spending free time for shopping, we continue to enjoy the Chao Phraya River, known as the river of kings. After free time, our bus will head to our hotel.

DAY 3 – BANGKOK

Today our program will start quite early. After breakfast, we set off in the early morning and head to Samut Songhkram, the smallest city in Thailand, located about 1.5 hours from Bangkok. Our first stop is the Coconut Farm. Ladies, pay attention! At this farm you will be able to buy many products made from coconut, such as oil, cream, cosmetics, and sugar, directly from the source. Our next stop is the Floating Market. To reach this market, which is one of Thailand's symbols, we will board a Long Tail Boat (long-tail boats). We will have free time at the market, and during this time you will have the chance to taste local fruits and capture unforgettable photos. If you are not a skilled negotiator, this market is not a suitable place for souvenir shopping. Upon our arrival in Bangkok, our bus will drop the group off at Siam Square. Here we will have plenty of time for shopping. In addition to the stores in the passages in Siam Square, you can visit malls within walking distance such as MBK Center, Siam Discovery, Siam Paragon, and Central World Plaza, or shop from street stores in the Pratunam Market. Meeting at the place and time announced by our guide, we will have dinner buffet-style at the panoramic restaurant on the 76th floor of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel, the tallest building in Thailand at 328 meters high. After that, our bus will continue to the night market and then to our hotel.

DAY 4 – BANGKOK & AYUTTHAYA & PHITSANULOK

In the next part of our tour, we will delve deep into Siam history and magnificent Thai nature. After having breakfast at the hotel, completing our check-out procedures, and leaving the hotel, we head to the city of Ayutthaya by bus for a journey of about 1 hour. Ayutthaya was the former capital of Thailand and hosted the Ayutthaya Kingdom between 1350 and 1767. The Ayutthaya Historical Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famous for its temple ruins and Buddhist monuments. The city was one of the strongest trade centers of Southeast Asia at that time, but it was destroyed in 1767 by the Burmese (present-day Myanmar) army. In our Ayutthaya exploration, we will see the old royal palace Bang Pa In Palace in the historical park area, the Wat Yai Chai Mongkon temple, famous for its chedis and pagodas, the Wat Mahatat temple, famous for its tree roots enveloping the Buddha statue inside, the Wat Phra Sri Sanphet temple where royal ceremonies were held, and the Wat Chaiwatthanaram temple, the most important example of Ayutthaya kingdom architecture, among the places we will see. During the tour, at a suitable time, we will have our lunch at a local restaurant. After our Ayutthaya visit ends, we head to Phitsanulok City by private bus and check in to our hotel. We will have dinner at Avalon Restaurant.

DAY 5 – PHITSANULOK & SUKHOTAI

After completing our check-out procedures at the hotel, we will carry out our city and temple tour of Phitsanulok, the city of 2 rivers. Included in the tour will be the Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat temple, which houses the world's most beautiful Buddha statue (Buddhachinaraj), the memorial tomb of King Naresuan the Great, Chan Palace, the train station, and the Nan River. Then, after a journey of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, we head to the city of Sukhotai, which served as the capital of the Siam Kingdom for 140 years. The “Sukhotai Historical Park”, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the most important point of today. We will visit the most important temples and museums within the park and learn about Thailand's history from the Khmer period to today. During our tour, taking into account the fitness level of our group, we will have our lunch at an appropriate time. After completing our historical park visit, we complete our hotel check-in procedures in the evening. We will have dinner at our hotel.

DAY 6 – SUKHOTAI & LAMPANG & LAMPOON & CHIANG MAI

We have breakfast and leave the hotel. Our first stop is the city of Lampang, where we will see the famous Kad Tung Kwian market. You will really enjoy this neighborhood market with its local and very unusual products. Our next stop will be the Wat Phra That Hariphunchai temple located in the city of Lampoon, dating back to the 9th century, believed to have been visited by Buddha, and featuring his footprint. After leaving the temple, we set off for Chiang Mai, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Chiang Mai is a historical city located in northern Thailand and known as the "Rose of the North". Founded in the 13th century, this city is one of Thailand's former capitals and is known for its cultural richness, temples, and natural beauty. Chiang Mai has an atmosphere that blends traditional Thai culture with modern amenities.The city is home to important Buddhist temples such as Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, local night markets, handmade products, and restaurants offering flavors unique to Thai cuisine. It is also a popular destination for nature and adventure lovers thanks to the natural wonders, waterfalls, mountains, and elephant camps in the surrounding area. Chiang Mai's calmer and more mystical atmosphere offers a different experience compared to larger cities like Bangkok. After lunch, we will visit the Wat Phra Thah Doi Suthep temple located on Doi Suthep mountain. We will reach this temple, located at an altitude of 1676 meters and sometimes disappearing among the clouds, by funicular, and the entire view of Chiang Mai will spread out beneath our feet. After completing our temple visit, we check in to our hotel and have free time to rest. We will have dinner at our hotel.

         7. DAY – CHIANG MAI

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin a day in which we will expend a lot of energy and get tired, but will encounter views and experiences that will please us greatly. During our full-day Doi Inthanon tour, after leaving the hotel, we go up to the highest point of Inthanon mountain by vehicle (2565 meters). From the summit, our descent on foot begins.  In this walk, which we will do by changing trails, the moss-covered vegetation and untouched mountain forest views will be mesmerizing. After the lunch we will have at a local restaurant, we will see the monuments made in honor of Thailand's 9th King and his wife. Then we will see the Wachirathan and Mae Klang waterfalls. Our final stop will be the Hmong Market. At the end of our tour, we go to our hotel and rest a bit. In the evening, we will have our Kanthoke dinner, featuring traditional Thai folk dances and performances.

8.DAY –CHIANG MAI & CHIANG RAI

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and set off with our private bus waiting for us. Before leaving Chiang Mai, our first stop will be the handicraft workshops. We will see handmade products such as silk, ceramics, umbrellas, silver, mulberry paper, wood, cotton, wood carving, and celadon, as well as the artisans who make these products. After having our lunch, we head to Chiang Rai. Our first stop in Chaing Rai will be hot springs and geysers. Then we go to Wat Rong Khun (White Temple), one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. One of the most interesting features of this temple is that it belongs to an individual. It stands out with its white color and glass decorations that shine in the sunlight. The white color symbolizes the purity of Buddha, while the glass symbolizes the wisdom of Buddha. At the end of the first day of our Chiang Rai visit, we settle into our hotel. Dinner is at our hotel.

DAY 9 –CHIANG MAI & CHIANG RAI

Today our program will be quite intensive. After breakfast and leaving the hotel, our first stop will be the ethnic center of the Long-Neck Women Tribe, known as Kayan Lahwi or Padaung or Karen. What we see here will be very important experiences and memories. Then we will go to the Mae Sai market, located at the northernmost point, where border trade between Thailand and Myanmar (Burma) takes place. After that, we head to the point known worldwide as the “Golden Triangle”, where Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet, as well as the Ruak and Mekong rivers. This region became known as one of the areas where the most opium was produced after World War II. Today, opium cultivation is prohibited within Thailand's borders, and production mainly takes place in Myanmar. We will have our lunch at a local restaurant again during our tour. After finishing our Golden Triangle visit, we return to Chiang Rai. After the dinner we will have at the hotel, we will visit the night market with our guide.

DAY 10 – CHIANG RAI

After breakfast, we will have free time. In the afternoon, we leave the hotel and spend time with elephants, the largest and most intelligent animals in the world. On the elephant safari, we will have an unforgettable adventure in Thailand's lush green forests. Elephant-back safaris will allow you to discover the region's breathtaking nature while also giving you the opportunity to experience Thai culture more closely.  After the elephant safari, we will have lunch at a local restaurant, and our transfer to the airport for our Chiang Rai – Bangkok flight will take place, and from Bangkok airport we will complete our procedures for our Istanbul flight and arrive in Istanbul the next day.
