This trip is organized with a minimum participation of 20 people.  If sufficient participation is not reached, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour cancelled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport that is valid for 6 months from the end date of the trip and is no older than 10 years.

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you for the visa application.

In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports should be renewed, and if it is a country that applies visas to Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

Since there is a possibility that our guests under the age of 18, when traveling alone or with only one parent, may be asked for a document showing the mutual consent of the parents by the police officer at the country entry/exit points; we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this matter.

HEALTH

There is no vaccination requirement for Turkish citizens entering Egypt. Throughout your trip, we recommend that you do not drink tap water and only consume bottled water that will be opened by you for the first time.

 EXTRA TOURS & ACTIVITIES           

Extra tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicle to be used for extra tours/activities may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums, ruins or venues in the places to be visited and according to weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION   

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km.

3-person rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or coach beds, participants making 3rd person and/or child reservations are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the type of bed.

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and falling within the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts provided at the hotel as part of the services included in the tour program are offered in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

CURRENCY    

The currency of Egypt is the Egyptian Pound (EGP).

It is useful to have USD (EUR) and US Dollar (USD) with you.

TIME ZONE     

There is a -1 hour time difference between Turkey and Egypt. When it is 12.00 in Turkey, it is 11.00 in Egypt.

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS    

When entering mosques and churches in the country, shorts, skirts, clothing that leaves the shoulders exposed, and body-hugging clothes should be avoided. We recommend that women bring a thin shawl or scarf with them. Also, if you have a hat or sunglasses, you should not use them while inside the place of worship. Both men and women are required to remove their shoes when entering a mosque.

CUISINE CULTURE          

Egypt is full of fish restaurants and fish markets, like many seaside countries.

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for a visa-required destination/passport) does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed. The passport police have the authority not to let you into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities and carried out panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary, lasting at most 2-3 hours and not including museum or site entrance fees. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they cannot be carried out because local authorities do not allow sightseeing or entry on the day and time of the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, and also in cases where the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, the agency is not responsible for the inability to carry out the mentioned tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible at closed roads or points where vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Cairo
Upon arrival in Cairo on our scheduled flight, we depart from the airport with our private vehicle and guide waiting for us for our panoramic city tour. During our panoramic Cairo city tour, the places we will see include the Old City Center, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Sadat’s Mausoleum, Baron Palace, Tahrir Square, the city center along the Nile, and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. At the end of the tour, after some free time, we will transfer to our hotel and have free time. Guests who wish may participate in the extra tours specified. Accommodation at our Cairo hotel. Evening Tour With the guests who take the tour, we will go on a Dinner Cruise on the Nile River. After our boat trip, where we will witness the magical atmosphere of the Nile River and Cairo, and our dinner, we return to our hotel.
Cairo
After breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional tours organized by our guide. Accommodation at our Cairo hotel. Day Tour For guests who have purchased the tour, we will carry out the Cairo Museum & Giza Pyramids & Sphinx Tour with lunch included. Our first stop will be the Cairo Museum, which reveals Egyptian history in all its details and houses many fascinating mummies. Then we will visit the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, named after the pharaohs who had them built. These three pyramids, built thousands of years ago and still preserving their mysteries, were designed in the shape of a Pythagorean triangle. Built long before Pythagoras, these pyramids show that the Egyptians had highly advanced knowledge of mathematics and geometry. After visiting the mysterious pyramids, we will see the Sphinx, with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, symbolizing the rising sun and rebirth for the pharaoh. We will have lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. Finally, after visiting the Sphinx, the “Living Statue,” which has a temple between its paws, free time will be given. Then we will return to our hotel.
Cairo
After breakfast at our hotel, you will have free time. Guests who wish may join the extra tours organized by our guide. Accommodation at our Cairo Hotel. Daytime Tour For guests who have joined the tour, we will carry out the Lunch Included Grand Cairo Egyptian Museum Tour. Covering an area of 500,000 square meters (approximately 70 football fields), the museum is the world’s largest archaeology museum complex dedicated to a single civilization. Standing out with a magnificent plaster and glass façade, the complex is decorated with triangles in different sizes and colors as a tribute to Ancient Egypt. We will have our lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. After the museum tour, free time will be given, and then we will transfer to our hotel. Evening Tour For guests who have joined the tour, we will carry out the Felucca Boat Tour. (During the excursion, we will offer 1 non-alcoholic drink, fruit, and snacks.) After the boat tour, we return to the hotel. Note: If weather conditions are not suitable, motorboats will be used.
Cairo - Istanbul
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and have free time. At the time determined by our guide, we will meet and head to Cairo Airport for our flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our tour and services will come to an end. Day Tour For guests who have purchased the tour, we will carry out the Lunch Included Ancient Saqqara & Memphis Tour. First, we head to the Saqqara Valley (Valley of the Dead), where those who lived in Memphis, the oldest capital of Egypt, were buried. After approximately a half-hour journey, we arrive at the city of Memphis, where we will see pharaoh statues, ancient temples, and the remains of palaces. We visit the Zoser Pyramid, named after King Zoser of the Third Dynasty, who ruled Egypt in the 27th century BC, known as the first and largest stone structure pyramid built from stone blocks in Egyptian history. After our tour, we meet again at the time determined by our guide and head to the airport for our flight back to Istanbul.
