FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This tour is operated with a minimum participation requirement of 30 people. If sufficient participation is not reached, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through our agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years.

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you for the visa application. In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed, and if it is a country applying visas to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, the responsibility belongs to the passenger. Since our guests under the age of 18 may be asked by the police officer at the country’s entry and exit points to present a document showing the mutual consent of the parents when traveling alone or with only one parent; we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay attention to this matter.

*Having a valid passport and/or obtaining a visa (for destinations/passports that require a visa) does not mean that you will be allowed entry into the country. The passport police have the authority to refuse entry. Our agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

The currency used in European countries is the Euro. We recommend that you carry a small amount of Euros with you.

TIME ZONE

Europe is 1 hour behind Türkiye during daylight saving time and 2 hours behind during winter time.

For example, when it is 18:30 in Türkiye in summer, it is 17:30 in Europe.

FOOD CULTURE

You must try the 5 most famous delicacies of Spanish cuisine. Paella, the most famous dish, is a saffron rice dish prepared with seafood or meat and can be shared. As snacks, Tapas, Gazpacho (Cold Tomato Soup), Tortilla Española (Spanish Omelet), and Churros con Chocolate (Chocolate Dessert) are essential. In Portugal, Bacalhau (Salted Cod Fish – National Delicacy), Pastel de Nata (Famous Portuguese Dessert) or the Belem Tart we will taste, and Francesinha (Porto’s Famous Sandwich) are among the must-tries.

There are shopping opportunities in shopping centers located in city centers and at small souvenir stalls. In addition, during the famous  Las Rozas Village Outlet  tour in Barcelona, you can find famous brands at affordable prices.

*All City and Cultural Tours written in the program are included in the price.

*If optional tours and activities or program options such as boat trips are clearly stated in the program, they are operated with a minimum participation requirement of 15 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not reached, excursions cannot be held, or optional tour/activity prices, content, and the vehicle used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to whether the museums, archaeological sites, or venues at the destinations are open/closed and according to weather conditions.

*The agency reserves the right to change the route of the tour when deemed necessary, provided that the content remains the same.

*Excursions or tours that are not permitted to be visited or entered by local authorities or for any reason due to different causes will not be operated. The Agency cannot be held responsible for the inability to carry out these excursions or tours.

CLOTHING and NECESSARY ITEMS

For the summer season, we recommend that you bring T-shirts, short- and long-sleeved shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, cotton pants, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a thin sweater for the evenings. In addition, we recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, video camera and their chargers, spare memory cards, and chargers. For the autumn and winter period, we recommend clothing that allows free movement and keeps you warm, as well as an umbrella and a light raincoat.

ACCOMMODATION

During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km.

*Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable beds and so-called coach beds, participants are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped space in the rooms and the bed type for 3rd person and/or child reservations.

*Child discounts apply to children staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section.

*Breakfasts taken at the hotel among the services included in the tour program are served according to the breakfast culture of the country where you are staying.

*For possible issues arising from technical problems reported to us by the hotel management, our agency reserves the right to change hotel names, provided that the category of the hotels remains the same.

AIRLINE TICKETS and FLIGHTS

*Flight times and airline ticket reservation number information are shared by our agency before the tour date. Due to group reservations, even without your ticket, you can have your baggage and customs procedures completed at the specified time and counter using only your passport. Check-in procedures are carried out by our agency.

*During registration, the name, date of birth, passport, and ID number on the passport must be entered into the system. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Ticket cancellations or changes arising from incorrect information will result in no-show charges being passed on to guests.

*Our agency is not responsible for any losses arising from your inability to join the trip due to missing the flight or not being able to catch the plane for reasons related to your own circumstances.

*Our agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Routes may vary depending on the city where the plane will land. All times must be confirmed 48 hours before the departure dates. Our agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.

*Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees.

LOSS, OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS, PASSPORT and ID LOSSES

*During your trip, when leaving the hotels you stay at, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings. If lost items are found, the costs incurred in delivering them to the country and/or person belong to the owner of the item.

*In the event that your passport is lost or stolen, since our Agency representative/guide must continue the Tour Program for the other traveling guests as committed by the agency; they should know that they will act on their own responsibility regarding all organization related to passport procedures, return, or joining the tour in the country where the loss/theft occurred. Our Agency does not accept responsibility for any difficulties or problems that may arise in this regard.

*The Agency is not responsible for items left behind, lost, or stolen during the tour.

TRANSPORTATION and LOCAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

*It is mandatory to wear seat belts during the journey. For our passengers aged 0-4, it is mandatory to bring a “vehicle baby seat.” In case of non-compliance with the rules, our agency cannot be held responsible for any traffic fines or penalties imposed.

*Even if the vehicle seat numbers provided in the countries to be visited are the same as those purchased, their direction, place, or position may differ. Seating is arranged according to the vehicle conditions of the relevant country.

*All vehicles offered by local vehicle service providers for transportation and transfer services are inspected in accordance with European Union rules and conditions. Vehicles that pass inspection provide service if they are comfortable and flawless, regardless of model or age.

*Including the tours specified in the program, in cases where the tour day and time coinciding with the tour are not allowed to be visited or entered by local authorities, or where the tour becomes impossible due to closed roads because of any event or due to weather conditions, our Agency is not responsible for the inability to carry out the tours in question. Some tours may, where possible, be conducted by public transportation or on foot at locations where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted.

*During your trip, seat numbers are assigned and fixed according to the reservation order. Even if the assigned seat numbers are the same in numbering, direction, place, or position may differ. Seating is arranged according to the vehicle conditions of the relevant country.

HEALTH

We do not think there will be any problems threatening your health from meals taken at the region’s good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we advise you to be careful about what you eat and drink, to absolutely consume bottled water, to avoid ice, milk and dairy products, to consume meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and to eat fruits that can be peeled, such as bananas and pineapples.

In the event of health problems or injuries that may arise due to reasons beyond your control, we strongly recommend that you obtain a report and invoice from the health facility where you receive treatment. This will be useful if needed for insurance-related procedures.

TRAVEL HEALTH and CANCELLATION COVER

*The insurance arranged by our Agency for this trip covers you within the scope of the Professional Liability Insurance required by the Turkish Association of Travel Agencies and the travel health coverage intended to protect you. Travel Health coverage is valid for ages 0-65. Our guests over 65 years of age must have their insurance arranged by paying a surcharge. We recommend that you always obtain Travel and Health Insurance for every trip to ensure your protection.

*However, it should be known that this insurance does not cover cancellations without restriction or condition; in case of force majeure, non-chronic and sudden illnesses, accidents, and in the event of such adverse situations affecting first-degree relatives, the reports to be obtained are submitted to the relevant insurance company for evaluation and are included in the cancellation coverage as a result. These assessments are carried out by the relevant Health and Insurance Company’s health institutions and are outside the scope of our agency’s responsibility.

Tour Program
Izmir - Barcelona - Girona - Figueres
We meet at the international terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at the specified time in the morning. After completing our check-in and baggage procedures, we arrive at Barcelona International Airport on a direct flight operated by SunExpress Airlines. Upon arrival, we head to the historic city of Girona, located at the confluence of the Ter, Onyar, Galligants, and Güell rivers. After arriving in this beautiful city, where Christianity, Islam, and Judaism lived together for centuries and left behind incredibly beautiful works during this time, we begin our city tour. The Old City Center, the Grand Cathedral, and the Jewish Quarter, with their medieval architectural structures, are some of the places to be seen. After the tour, we head to Figueres, the birthplace of one of the world’s most famous painters, Salvador Dalí. Upon arrival, we tour Figueres, enter the Salvador Dalí Museum (included in the price), and examine Dalí’s fascinating works accompanied by our guide’s explanations. After the museum visit, we have free time in the center of Figueres to spend time with your loved ones, and then we settle into our hotel in Barcelona, where we will stay for 2 nights.
Barcelona
After having breakfast at our hotel, we set out to explore Barcelona, the city of Gaudí, whose many architectural works and historical treasures have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and which is home to museums of world-famous artists. Upon arrival, during our city tour, we see the Sagrada Familia, whose construction began in 1882 and is still ongoing, also known as the unfinished cathedral; Gaudí’s famous works Casa Milà and Casa Batlló; the Amatller and Lleó Houses; and Plaça de Catalunya. We then visit Camp Nou Stadium, with a capacity of 100,000, Europe’s largest and the world’s 5th largest football stadium, and also the stadium of FC Barcelona, from the outside (panoramic view), the Columbus Monument (Mirador de Colom), and La Rambla, Barcelona’s 24-hour street filled with cafés, restaurants, and shops. Guided by our tour leader, we explore El Born and the Gothic Quarter, one of Barcelona’s most authentic districts. The Gothic Quarter is the city’s oldest neighborhood, rich in architecture and preserved in its original form. As we wander through its historic atmosphere and labyrinthine streets, you will see the magnificent Barcelona Cathedral and admire its enchanting architecture. Afterwards, you can sit in the marina of Barcelona Port, one of the largest in Europe, enjoy a coffee overlooking the view, and shop in the stores within the marina. After our tour and the free time we will provide, we check in to our hotel in Barcelona.
Barcelona - Valencia - Alicante/Murcia
After having our breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Valencia, where the Costa del Azahar beaches of the Mediterranean lie to the east, and which is also the capital of the autonomous community of “Comunitat Valenciana.” We arrive in Valencia, the third-largest city in the country after Madrid and Barcelona, a place that is a must-see in the world for its historical and cultural richness, known as the City of Arts and Sciences. On our city tour, some of the places we will see are the El Micalet Cathedral, the city’s most impressive cathedral built between the 14th and 15th centuries; Plaza de Toros de Valencia, the bullring built in the Arab-Islamic architectural style; the ancient Serranos Gates (Torres de Serranos); Plaza de la Virgen; the city’s most famous market, Mercado Central; and the City of Arts and Sciences Complex (from the outside). After the tour and the free time we will give, we settle into our hotel in Alicante or Murcia.
Valencia - Murcia / Alicante - Granada - El Hmara Palace I - Albaicín - Sacromonte
After breakfast at our hotel, our first stop is the ALHAMBRA PALACE, one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture, with its magnificent gardens and incredibly beautiful decorations. Following an exterior explanation of the palace, we begin our visit of the interior, gardens, and courtyards of the Alhambra Palace, accompanied by our guide and the palace guide (included in the price). After touring this breathtaking structure for approximately 2 hours, we continue to Granada’s old city center, where we will see Granada Cathedral and Isabel de Catholica Square, named after the queen who conquered the city in the 15th century. After the tour, during our free time, guests who wish may shop in Granada’s authentic bazaars. After gathering again, we proceed to our hotel and check in. Guests who wish may join an enchanting evening program in Granada’s Sacromonte district, the Gypsy quarter, where we will watch Zambra dances—the Andalusian style of Flamenco—performed by gypsies in traditional cave houses carved into the rocks, and listen to traditional music. The program will also include seeing San Nicolas Hill, which offers magnificent views, and the Albaicin district, the old Arab quarter. After the evening, transfer to the hotel and overnight stay at our hotel in Granada. Accommodation: 5* Granada Palace Hotel or similar, or 4* Hotel Macia Real De Alhambra or similar.
Granada - Cordoba - Seville
After breakfast at our hotel in Granada, we depart for Cordoba, a city that once served as the capital of the Roman Empire. Having experienced its golden age during the period of the Umayyads of Al-Andalus, Cordoba preserves its Islamic cultural heritage and historical texture, and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984. During our tour, some of the places we will see include the Historic Roman Bridge, the Roman Gate, the Great Mosque of Cordoba, the most magnificent structure of the 2,000-year-old city and one of the largest mosques in the world, the Old Town Center, Cordoba’s flower-lined streets, the old inn, and Cordoba houses. After a short free time following our tour, we head to Sevilla, the capital of Andalusia. Known as the gateway of the Spanish Empire to its colonies, Sevilla reflects the wealth gained from the colonies in every corner. On our city tour, we get to know the city closely with our guide’s narration, then enjoy some free time before checking into our hotel. Sevilla - Lisbon
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Like Istanbul, this city was built on seven hills; famous for its historic trams, yellow-toned buildings, azulejo-covered facades, and narrow streets, our first stop in the capital will be the Vasco da Gama Bridge and Tower, which boast the title of Europe’s longest bridge. After taking wonderful photos from this point, where we can admire the grandeur of the Tagus River and its unique views, we turn toward the Monument to the Discoveries and see the famous Belém Tower located on the banks of the Tagus. Our tour, where we can see the city’s most impressive landmarks, continues with Jerónimos Monastery, the Monument to the Discoveries, Rossio and Praça do Comércio squares, Avenida da Liberdade, Marquês de Pombal Square, and São Jorge Castle. As we continue our tour, we pass through the Gardens of the Imperial Square (Jardim da Praça do Império) and view the Jerónimos Monastery. In between this enjoyable sightseeing, we take a break at Portugal’s famous Pastéis de Belém bakery to taste the region’s special delicacy, pastéis (Belém tart). At the end of our sweet break, we have free time and then check in to our hotel. Guests who wish may join the traditional dinner with Fado night this evening. (Extra)
Lisbon - Sintra - Cabo da Roca - Cascais - Estoril - Porto
After breakfast at our hotel, we check out of our rooms and begin our tour to discover the charms of Portugal. We head to Cascais, one of the country’s favorite seaside towns, located on the Atlantic coast and known for its natural beauty and historic architecture. We begin our visit by seeing Cascais Castle, the Marina, and Boca do Inferno (“Mouth of Hell”), a natural rock formation that offers an impressive view as the waves crash against the rocks. After our break in the historic center of the town, where narrow cobblestone streets are lined with traditional Portuguese-style houses, boutique shops, and cafés, we take our seats on the bus and continue to Sintra, famous for its fairy-tale atmosphere and its colorful, enchanting palaces. A must-see destination especially for history lovers, the town is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We visit the National Palace of Sintra (Palácio Nacional de Sintra), one of the best-preserved medieval palaces in Sintra and in Portugal, located in the historic center of Sintra, right in the heart of the town. (Included in the price!) Recognizable by its exterior facade and iconic twin conical chimneys, the palace was used for centuries as a summer and hunting residence by the royal family, and today it continues to enchant visitors with its elegant halls and colorful tiles. After completing our visit here, we enjoy free time in Sintra’s historic center, and then head to Cape Roca (Cabo da Roca) to watch the boundless views of the Atlantic Ocean and take a photo break at what is described as the westernmost point of mainland Europe, where the continent ends. After this pleasant stop, where we can also see the lighthouse built in 1772 and still actively serving as one of the most important symbols of the area, we travel to Porto, Portugal’s second-largest city, located on the banks of the Douro River. We begin exploring this city, which captivates visitors with its colorful houses, historic streets, and lively atmosphere, and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1996. Among the places to see are Porto Cathedral (Sé do Porto), where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city; São Bento Railway Station, an artistic feast decorated with more than 20,000 blue-and-white tiles depicting Portuguese history on its interior walls; Clérigos Tower, one of Porto’s most famous landmarks at 76 meters high; Livraria Lello, which holds special meaning for Harry Potter fans as well, with its spiral staircase and wooden details; and the Palácio da Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace). In this area, connected by the Dom Luís I Bridge designed by a student of Gustave Eiffel, you can take photos of unique views and cross to the other side on foot. At the end of our tour, after a lovely evening where you can spend free time in restaurants in the Ribeira district and taste the famous Porto wines, we settle into our hotel in Porto.
Porto-Salamanca-Madrid
After our hotel breakfast, we head to Salamanca, a city built along the banks of the Tormes River and admired by our travelers for its historic character. Considered the educational center of the region since ancient Roman times, Salamanca is also home to one of Europe’s most prestigious universities. We will see its cathedrals, dominated by Gothic and Baroque architecture, the Plaza Mayor, one of Spain’s most beautiful squares, the famous Casa de las Conchas (House of Shells), whose exterior is covered with seashells, and the historic Roman Bridge. After our guide’s directions and commentary, we will have free time. After enjoying our time here, we set our course for Madrid, the capital of Spain. Before arriving in Madrid, we stop at Las Rozas Village Outlet, one of the city’s most exclusive shopping destinations. After the free time we will provide so you can shop at world-famous brands’ stores at advantageous prices and enjoy some pleasant time, we head to our hotel and check into our rooms.
Madrid - Izmir
We start the day with a pleasant Madrid morning and our breakfast at the hotel. After checking out of our rooms, we begin our tour of Madrid to the fullest. Among the places to be seen are the Royal Palace, the official residence of the Royal Family; Plaza Mayor, Madrid’s most famous historic square, considered the heart of the city with its 17th-century architecture, cafés, and street performers; Puerta del Sol, one of Madrid’s liveliest spots and home to the “0 kilometer” stone symbolizing the city center; and the areas around the Cibeles Fountain and the historic city hall. Also on our route are Plaza de Cibeles, the symbolic square where Real Madrid celebrations are held, the Neptune area, the Alcala Gate, Retiro Park, Atocha Train Station, Gran Via, which is considered “Madrid’s Champs-Élysées” with its shops, theaters, restaurants, and historic buildings, and Santiago Bernabéu, the famous 82,000-seat football stadium of the Madrid football team. At the end of our tour, we take some free time to bid farewell to Madrid, and after regrouping, we transfer to the airport. After completing our passport and customs procedures to take our seats on the SunExpress Airlines flight that will take us to Adnan Menderes Airport, we begin our return journey. Upon our arrival, we part ways until meeting again on another travel program.
