Izmir (ADB) - Belgrade
Meeting with our valued guests at the International Departures Terminal of Adnan Menderes Airport at least 3 hours before the flight. Following ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Belgrade at 17:05 on AJET Airlines’ scheduled flight VF1001. Arrival in Belgrade at 17:55 local time. After leaving the airport, we begin our city tour. During our Belgrade city tour, known as one of Europe’s oldest cities and the “White City,” we will see Belgrade Fortress, one of the Ottoman navy’s supply centers, located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers and where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded while attempting its conquest, although its conquest was later achieved by Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent; Kalemegdan, Tašmajdan, the Military Museum, the tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, the conqueror of Morea, and the Bajrakli Mosque. Belgrade (Mahmut Orhan Concert)
Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish may join the Novi Sad–Sremski Karlovci tour, which will be organized as an optional extra by our guide. We set off in our private vehicle for Novi Sad. Our first stop is Sremski Karlovci. In this beautiful town, the Treaty of Karlowitz was signed in 1699 after 72 days of negotiations between the Ottoman Empire and Austria-Hungary, Venice, and Poland. During our visit, we will see the four-door venue where the treaty was signed, as well as the town square, the Four Lions Fountain, and historic Orthodox and Catholic churches. After a coffee break, we continue our journey. Along the way, we will see the Belgrade Gate, Clock Tower, Upper Town, Long Barracks, and Leopold Gate at Petrovaradin Fortress. We then arrive in Novi Sad. Vojvodina is a multi-ethnic province in northern Serbia. It is the most economically developed region of Serbia, and its capital is Novi Sad. Upon arrival, we begin our tour. During our walking tour, we will see Freedom Square, the National Theatre, Dunavska Street and the riverfront, the Svetozar Miletić Monument, the Catholic Cathedral, the Orthodox Cathedral of St. George, St. Nicholas Church, and the Synagogue panoramically. After some free time, we transfer to our hotel at the end of the tour. Later, we will meet at the time determined by our guide and proceed to the concert venue for the Mahmut Orhan concert. Belgrade
Free time all day after breakfast. Guests who wish may join the Danube River boat tour, organized optionally by our guide. Beginning the tour by boat, we set off from the point where the Sava and Danube Rivers meet, enjoying a magnificent view of Belgrade. Throughout the tour, you will pass by Belgrade Fortress, Kalemegdan Park, the Orthodox Church, and beneath numerous bridges, while hearing stories from Belgrade’s rich history. The tour continues past Ada Ciganlija and the Great War Island, offering spectacular views of the city. After the 1.5-hour boat tour, free time. Alternatively, guests who wish may join the Zemun & Tito’s Mausoleum & Tesla Museum tour, organized optionally by our guide. Overnight at our hotel. Belgrade – Izmir (ADB)
After breakfast, check out of the rooms. At the scheduled meeting time, transfer to the airport in our private vehicle. Following ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, depart for Izmir at 18:45 on AJET Airlines’ scheduled flight VF1002. After approximately one hour of travel, arrive at Adnan Menderes Airport at 21:25 local time, marking the end of our tour. We hope to see you on our next journey…
