Tour Program
Izmir - Paris
In the morning, we meet at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport International Terminal at the specified time, complete our passport and baggage procedures, and then depart on our nonstop (direct) SunExpress Airlines flight and arrive in Paris local time. We take our places in the vehicle waiting for us and begin touring the city. We start by seeing the Pantheon Church, located in the square right in front of Sorbonne University and originally in Rome, where the tombs of world-famous scientists and artists are located (J.J. Rousseau, Madame Curie, Voltaire, etc.). Continuing our tour, after also seeing Luxembourg Palace, Napoleon’s Tomb (Les Invalides), Opera Square, Alexander Bridge, Saint Michel District, the American Church, the National Assembly, the Orsay Museum, Trocadero Square, and the Arc de Triomphe, we are given free time on the Champs-Élysées at our guide’s direction. After meeting again, we settle into our hotel in Paris, where we will stay for 2 nights.
Paris
After having breakfast at our hotel, we head to Champs de Mars, where the Eiffel Tower is located, a symbol of France as well as the world’s most famous city, for a full day program ranging from fashion to art, gastronomy to history. After our guide’s explanations, we allow free time so you can take beautiful and unforgettable photos and enjoy our morning coffee at its famous cafés. After gathering again, to see the city in a completely different ambiance, we join our Seine River Boat and Paris Dream tour, which is included in the price. As we pass under the magnificent bridges built over the river, we panoramically see Paris’s striking historical buildings, Île de la Cité, the world-famous Notre Dame Cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary, which was damaged by an unexpected fire in recent years, the Palace of Justice, the Conciergerie Prison, City Hall, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Louvre Palace. After this enjoyable boat ride, we arrive at the Montmartre district, known as the “Hill of the Painters,” where bohemian life still continues. With those who wish, we take the funicular up to the Hill of the Painters, see the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, and then enjoy free time in its charming restaurants where you can taste Paris’s famous dishes or delicious crêpes. At the end of the free time, we return to our hotel in Paris.
Paris - Bruges - Brussels
After having breakfast at our hotel, we head to Bruges, Belgium. We begin our tour of Bruges, another city of lovers, where the historical fabric and medieval architecture have been preserved in all their beauty to this day, making you feel as if you are in a fairy tale. Some of the places to be seen are Grote Markt, where the statues of Jan Breydel and Pieter de Coninck are also located, Burg Square, Begijnhof, Minnewater Park, the Guild Houses, the Basilica of the Holy Blood, the Belfry Bell Tower, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1999, and the City Hall. After the information provided by our guide and the free time we will have, we gather at the designated time and head to Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the European Union. Upon arrival, we begin our Brussels city tour, famous for its history, festivals, and chocolates from past to present. Accompanied by our guide’s explanations, we see the Royal Palaces, the Palace of Justice, the City Hall, the Guild Houses, the Manneken Pis Statue, and the Grand Place. After our tour and the free time we will have, we settle into our hotel in Brussels.
Brussels - Antwerp - Rotterdam - The Hague - Amsterdam
After having breakfast at our hotel, we set off to visit Antwerp, a city that has always attracted attention thanks to its port, famous since ancient times, and its location along the Scheldt River. After a short journey of about 1 hour, we begin our tour in this beautiful city, known as the diamond capital of the world. We see Antwerp Cathedral, a Gothic architectural masterpiece that also holds the title of Belgium’s largest cathedral, where the paintings of the famous painter Peter Paul Rubens are exhibited. After our stroll through Grote Markt, with its facades adorned with striking figures and where you will feel as if you have stepped back into the Middle Ages, we take our seats in the coach and continue on to Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second-largest city after Amsterdam and an important commercial center. As we listen to our guide’s explanations about how, during the 20-year period between 1950 and 1970, the city rose from being almost completely destroyed in World War II to becoming such a beautiful city, we see the Erasmus Bridge, named after Desiderius Erasmus, one of the most important representatives of the Humanist movement, which connects the north and south sides of the city divided by the Nieuwe Maas River, as well as the Euromast Tower, Hotel New York, Markthal, and the Cube Houses. We then continue our journey to The Hague, the administrative capital of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, where the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court are also located, and head toward this small, modern city on the North Sea coast. Upon arrival, we see the International Court of Justice, Mauritshuis Museum (where the Girl with a Pearl Earring is housed), the Prime Minister’s office, and the Royal Palace, accompanied by our guide’s explanations, and take souvenir photos before heading to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. After arriving in the city, we will have free time for dinner following our orientation tour, which we will conduct with our guide’s information and directions. After meeting again, we settle into our hotel in Amsterdam, where we will stay for 2 nights.
Amsterdam - Giethoorn - Amsterdam - Canal Tour
After breakfast at our hotel, we head to Giethoorn Village, which is defined as the Venice of Northern Europe and the Netherlands, and also known as the Hobbit Village, thanks to its unique and captivating structure. Upon arrival in Giethoorn, where transportation is provided by silent boats called “whisper boats” in a village surrounded by approximately 7.5 km of canals instead of roads, and decorated with nearly 180 wooden bridges that create a fairytale-like appearance, we listen to our guide расска about the village’s history. During our tour, while cruising on the silent boat included in the price, you will be able to take magnificent photos in the midst of nature. At the end of our canal trip in this natural, peaceful, and romantic setting, we allow free time for lunch. After gathering again, we return to the capital’s center and head to the port to take our Canal Tour (included in the price), where we can observe all the beauty of the city from the canals in the Amsterdam canal district, known as the “Venice of the North.” While taking this boat trip along canals that have earned a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List, you will have the opportunity to take wonderful photos. On our canal tour, we will see Westerkerk, the Protestant Calvinist Church located on the same street as the Anne Frank House, as well as the Central Train Station and the city’s historical buildings, and observe the way of life of the local people. After the canal tour, we continue exploring Amsterdam. Following our Amsterdam city tour, where we will see the Stock Exchange Building, Dam Square, the famous Red Light District, the Royal Palace, and the Wax Museum – Madame Tussauds, we take a dinner break in the city center and then return to our hotel.
Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans - Volendam - Marken - Izmir
After breakfast at our hotel in Amsterdam, we head to Zaanse Schans, a town about 20 minutes from Amsterdam, where we can observe the canals, historic houses, windmills, and the traditional lifestyle of the Netherlands, and which resembles an open-air museum with its workshops. In this town, we visit this mill, which has been established from past to present for grinding earth and minerals for traditional paint production (entrance fees included!), and listen to our guide’s explanations. After completing our tour here, where you can photograph classic Dutch landscapes, and spending our free time, we head to Marken, a charming town with distinctive houses and streets that was originally built on the sea and later became a peninsula via a road connection. After enjoying our time in this town, which reflects typical Dutch rural village life, we depart for Volendam, another beautiful town famous for fishing and clog making in the Netherlands, once our free time there comes to an end. Upon arrival, we take a break for those who want to see the charming souvenir shops, take photos, shop, and enjoy a coffee. At the end of our free time, we gather for our airport transfer, board our SunExpress Airlines flight that will take us to Adnan Menderes Airport, and return to Izmir. After arrival past midnight local time, we bid farewell, hoping to meet again on another tour program.
