If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days prior to the tour start date. VISA, PASSPORT AND EUROPEAN ENTRY/EXIT SYSTEM (EES)

Ordinary Passport                             Visa Required

Green Passport                                 No Visa Required

Service Passport                           No Visa Required

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of your trip and must not be older than 10 years.

In destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the "Documents Required for Visa" list provided by your travel agent. To avoid issues with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or otherwise damaged passports; it is necessary to renew such passports, and if the destination country requires a visa for Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be on the new passport. In case of non-compliance, the responsibility lies with the passenger. For guests under 18 years of age traveling alone or with only one parent, there may be a request from the police officer at the entry/exit points for a document showing joint parental consent; therefore, we recommend that guests under 18 years of age and their parents pay special attention to this matter.

*Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports where a visa is required) does not guarantee entry into the country. The passport police have the authority to deny you entry. Our agency is not responsible for this situation; the responsibility lies with the passenger.

*As of April 10, 2026, within the framework of the European Entry/Exit System (EES) implemented in European Union countries, passport control procedures at border crossings are carried out by collecting biometric data (fingerprints and facial recognition).

Due to this application, congestion at airports and border crossings, long waiting times, systemic delays, or situations where biometric data cannot be read may occur.

These processes are entirely under the control of the relevant country's border security units, and our agency has no authority to intervene. Therefore, our agency cannot be held responsible for any delays, waiting times, or program disruptions that may arise as a result.

It is strongly recommended that guests' passports be physically in good condition, free from conditions that could prevent biometric data collection (cuts, wounds, heavy creams, etc.), and that they allow sufficient time for border procedures. "This application is an international security procedure, and all guests purchasing the tour are deemed to have accepted this process."

AIR TICKETS AND FLIGHTS INFORMATION

*Flight times and flight ticket reservation numbers will be shared by our agency before the tour date. Due to group reservations, you can complete your baggage and customs procedures at the specified time and counter with just your passport, even without your ticket. Check-in procedures are handled by our agency.

*During registration, the name, date of birth, passport number, and ID number on the passport must be entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued based on this information. Any flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests as no-show fees.

*In cases where you fail to participate due to arriving late for the flight or being unable to board the flight due to your own reasons, our agency is not responsible for any losses incurred from payments made to hotels and airlines.

*Our agency acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current tour and flight. Routes may vary depending on the city where the plane lands. All times must be confirmed 48 hours before the departure date.  Our agency is obligated to notify these changes as soon as possible. Passengers purchase the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.

*For our flights operated with SunExpress Airlines preferred in this program, each person has a right to 20 kg checked baggage and 8 kg cabin baggage. The maximum dimensions of the cabin baggage must be 55 x 40 x 23 cm. In case of exceeding the baggage allowance, additional fees may be applied by the airline.

Turkey is 1 hour ahead of Finland during winter time zones. For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey, it is 17:30 in Finland.

FOOD CULTURE

Finnish cuisine; shaped by cold climate conditions and the diversity of natural products, stands out with its simple yet satisfying flavors. HEALTH

*Although no specific health risks regarding food and drink are anticipated in Finland, we recommend maintaining regular nutrition and adequate fluid intake throughout the trip. Due to the low air temperatures in Lapland, especially on days spent outdoors for long periods, consuming hot beverages, not skipping meals, and eating according to your personal health status is important. It is recommended to choose well-known and reliable restaurants and cafes, and guests with personal allergies or food sensitivities should inquire about ingredients before ordering.

*Due to the fact that air temperatures in Lapland during winter months can reach very low levels, it is important to dress appropriately against the cold during outdoor activities, use the thermal clothing provided within the program, and consider your personal health status on days when you will be outside for extended periods.

*In the event of an unexpected health issue or injury during the trip, we strongly recommend obtaining a report from the medical facility consulted and invoices related to the expenses incurred. These documents may be required for procedures covered by travel health insurance and should be kept until the end of the trip.

Additionally, you can find various souvenir products for your loved ones in souvenir shops located in the Santa Claus Village.

Tour Program
Izmir – Rovaniemi – Glass Igloo & Ice Hotel – Santa Claus Village – Tornio
We meet in the morning at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, International Terminal. After completing passport and baggage procedures, we depart non-stop to Rovaniemi on our SunExpress flight. Upon arrival in Rovaniemi, a city located in Finland's Lapland region, we board our private vehicle and head to Santa Claus Village, one of Lapland's most iconic destinations. Situated on the Arctic Circle, Santa Claus Village welcomes visitors from all over the world each year. Here, we have the opportunity to cross the Arctic Circle line and immortalize this special moment with photographs. The village features a unique postal service where you can send postcards to loved ones immediately or for future delivery, as well as a variety of colorful souvenir shops. We allow free time for lunch and shopping during this delightful visit, which will let you fully experience the magical atmosphere of Lapland. Following this, we embark on a panoramic city tour of Rovaniemi. Continuing our tour, we visit the Ice Hotel and Glass Igloos, one of the world's largest snow hotels, capable of accommodating approximately 70 guests. Open every year on December 15th and redesigned with a new theme each season, the Ice Hotel showcases rooms made entirely of ice, wall decorations, carved details, and artworks enhanced by special lighting. In this extraordinary setting where ice and snow are transformed into art, we have the chance to take beautiful photographs. After our sightseeing, we proceed to the city of Kemi to collect thermal clothing that will protect us against average temperatures of -16°C to -23°C throughout the tour. Once we receive our overalls, boots, gloves, and wool socks prepared for us, we continue our journey. We then travel to Tornio, a town located near Kemi, situated on the Torne River and the Swedish border. Founded in 1621, Tornio is recognized as Lapland's oldest city and also serves as the port city for famous icebreakers. Arriving in Tornio amidst snow-covered Lapland landscapes, we check into our hotel and rest to recover from the day's activities. January 23 – 27: Accommodation at 4* Park Hotel Tornio or similar January 30 – February 3: Accommodation at 4* Mustaparta Hotel Tornio or similar
Tornio – Reindeer And Husky Sled Safari Tour (Lunch Included) – Northern Lights Hunt (Extra)
After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we board our waiting vehicle and head to the Reindeer Farm for one of Lapland's most characteristic experiences. Here, we get up close with reindeer, symbols of Lapland and among the first animals ever domesticated worldwide. Our farm staff and guide share insights into their lives and significance in the region. Next, we embark on a fairy-tale journey across snow-covered Lapland landscapes aboard reindeer-drawn sleds, capturing unforgettable moments through photographs. Following this unique experience, we gather around a fire inside a traditional Lapland tent to hear fascinating stories about the Sami people. The Sami are indigenous to Asia, speak an Ural-Altaic language, have origins still under research, and are believed to be related to the Yakut Turks. Historically fully nomadic, they now lead a semi-nomadic lifestyle centered on reindeer herding and practice Shamanism. In this warm and authentic setting, we enjoy local winter tea and cookies before witnessing a live Shaman ritual and learning more about Lapland's cultural heritage. Continuing our journey, we visit the Husky dogs, which have been used for centuries in reindeer herding and sledding due to their exceptional adaptation to cold climates. Before experiencing the iconic sled rides that are essential to Lapland transportation, we receive a brief training session on how to handle the husky sleds. We then enjoy an exhilarating 3-kilometer ride across the snowy track, creating memories amidst Lapland's stunning winter scenery. Afterward, we proceed to our restaurant for lunch, return to the hotel, and have free time. For those interested, we meet at the hotel lobby at a time set by our guide in the evening to join an extra-cost Northern Lights hunt (50€). Under the quiet Lapland night and the enchanting atmosphere of snow-covered nature, we observe the sky and, if fortune favors us, witness this extraordinary natural phenomenon, visible for approximately 200 days between August and April. After spending about three hours marveling at the mesmerizing dance of colors appearing in the sky, we return to our hotel. January 23–27: Accommodation at 4* Park Hotel Tornio or similar. January 30 – February 3: Accommodation at 4* Olof Hotel Tornio or similar.
Tornio – Icebreaker Ship Experience (Extra)
After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we will spend the rest of the day at leisure. Guests who wish may explore Tornio in Lapland's winter atmosphere, sample local delicacies, or cross the Swedish border within walking distance to spend time shopping in Haparanda. For those seeking a different and unforgettable experience, there is an optional excursion for an additional 490 €: a approximately three-hour journey on an Icebreaker Ship across the Baltic Sea. As the vessel cuts through ice-covered waters, you'll listen to the sound of ice cracking under its powerful hull and enjoy close-up views of the unique Arctic landscape. One of the most striking moments of this extraordinary voyage is witnessing the broken ice refreezing shortly after being shattered by the ship. During the cruise, dressed in special gear, you'll have the chance to swim in the ship's survival suite surrounded by glaciers, capturing stunning photos in this pristine environment encased in pure white ice sheets. At the end of the activity, you'll receive a Cruise & Swim Certificate to commemorate this unforgettable experience. After completing the Icebreaker Ship journey, we will proceed to our pre-booked restaurant to enjoy lunch included in the tour fee, savoring regional flavors. Following lunch, we return to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Guests are free to relax at the hotel, explore Tornio, or use their own plans for the rest of the day.
