PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

*This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 30 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date will be 20 days prior to the tour start date. Tours cancelled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through our agency.

*We do not accept infants in the age range of 0-3.99 years for this activity.

VISA, PASSPORT AND EUROPEAN ENTRY/EXIT SYSTEM (EES)

Ordinary Passport                             Visa Required

Green Passport                                 No Visa Required

Service Passport                           No Visa Required

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of your trip and must not be older than 10 years.

In destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made using the documents specified in the "Documents Required for Visa" list provided by your travel agent. To avoid issues with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or otherwise damaged passports; it is necessary to renew such passports and, if the destination country requires a visa for Turkish citizens, ensure that the relevant visa is on the new passport. In case of non-compliance, responsibility lies with the traveler. For guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent, there may be a request from the police officer at the entry/exit point for a document showing joint parental consent; therefore, we recommend that guests under 18 and their parents exercise caution in this matter.

*Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports where a visa is required) does not guarantee entry into the country. The passport police have the authority to deny entry. Our agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the traveler.

*As of April 10, 2026, within the framework of the European Entry/Exit System (EES) implemented in European Union countries, passport control procedures at border crossings are carried out by collecting biometric data (fingerprints and facial recognition).

Due to this application, congestion at airports and border crossings, long waiting times, systemic delays, or situations where biometric data cannot be read may occur.

These processes are entirely under the control of the relevant country's border security units, and our agency has no authority to intervene. Therefore, our agency cannot be held responsible for any delays, waiting times, or program disruptions that may arise as a result.

It is strongly recommended that guests' passports are physically in good condition, that there are no conditions (cuts, wounds, heavy creams, etc.) that could prevent biometric data collection, and that they consider sufficient time for border procedures. "This application is an international security procedure, and all guests purchasing the tour are deemed to have accepted this process."

AIR TICKETS AND FLIGHTS INFORMATION

*Flight schedules and flight ticket reservation numbers will be shared by our agency before the tour date. Due to group reservations, you can complete your baggage and customs procedures at the specified time and counter with just your passport, even without your physical ticket. Check-in procedures are handled by our agency.

*During registration, the name, date of birth, passport number, and ID number on the passport must be entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued based on this information. Any flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests as no-show fees.

*In cases where you fail to participate due to arriving late for the flight or being unable to board the flight due to your own reasons, our agency is not responsible for any losses incurred from payments made to hotels and airlines.

*Our agency acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current tour and flight. Routes may vary depending on the city where the plane lands. All times must be confirmed 48 hours before the departure date.  Our agency is obligated to notify these changes as soon as possible. Passengers purchase the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.

*For our flights operated with SunExpress Airlines preferred in this program, each person has a right to 20 kg checked baggage and 8 kg cabin baggage. The maximum dimensions of the cabin baggage must be 55 x 40 x 23 cm. Additional fees may be applied by the airline if the baggage allowance is exceeded.

Rovaniemi                          ✈            Izmir                            4 hrs 35 min

TIME ZONE

Turkey is 1 hour ahead of Finland during winter time. For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey, it is 17:30 in Finland.

CURRENCY

The currency used in Finland is the Euro (EUR). Credit/bank card usage is very common for daily shopping and personal expenses. Guests are advised to carry some Euros for small expenses.

ELECTRICAL SOCKETS

Electrical sockets are the same as in Turkey.

FOOD CULTURE

Finnish cuisine; shaped by cold climate conditions and the diversity of natural products, stands out with its simple yet satisfying flavors. Fish, reindeer meat, potatoes, rye bread, mushrooms, and forest berries are among the basic elements of the cuisine; while salmon soup Lohikeitto, traditional rye dough Karjalanpiirakka, reindeer meat prepared dish Poronkäristys and cinnamon bun Korvapuusti are among the main flavors symbolizing Finnish cuisine.

HEALTH

*Although no specific health risks regarding food and drink are anticipated in Finland, we recommend maintaining regular nutrition and adequate fluid intake throughout the trip. Due to the low air temperatures in Lapland, especially on days spent outdoors for extended periods, consuming hot beverages, not skipping meals, and eating according to your personal health status is important. It is recommended to choose well-known and reliable restaurants and cafes, and guests with personal allergies or food sensitivities should inquire about ingredients before ordering.

*Due to the fact that air temperatures in Lapland during winter months can reach very low levels, it is important to dress appropriately against the cold during outdoor activities, use the thermal clothing provided within the program, and consider your personal health status on days when you will be spending long periods outdoors.

*In the event of an unexpected health issue or injury during the trip, we strongly recommend obtaining a report from the medical facility consulted and invoices related to the expenses incurred. These documents may be required for processes covered by travel health insurance and should be kept until the end of the trip.

SHOPPING

There is an opportunity to shop for souvenirs unique to Finland, Lapland-themed products, handmade items, and local products in shops located in city centers and tourist spots. Additionally, you can find various souvenir products for your loved ones in the souvenir shops located in the Santa Claus Village.

TOURS & OPTIONAL TOURS AND ACTIVITIES

*Optional tours and activities or program options explicitly mentioned in the program, such as boat trips, are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 15 people and are not mandatory. If the required number is not met, tours may not take place, or optional tour/activity prices, content, and vehicles used may vary depending on the number of participants. Additionally, the dates and times of extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums, historical sites, or venues in the places to be visited are open/closed and weather conditions.

*The agency reserves the right to change the tour route, provided the content remains the same, when deemed necessary.

*Tours or visits that are not allowed to be visited or entered for any reason by local authorities or for other reasons will not be conducted. The agency cannot be held responsible for the inability to conduct these tours or visits.

ACCOMMODATION

*Since there is no official hotel star rating system in Finland, the star ratings of our hotels have been given by us based on world standards.

*During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances exceeding the specified km.

*Triple rooms may be assigned depending on the suitability of the hotels, and in these types of rooms, the bed provided for the 3rd person may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 additional bed. Since additional beds are formed by pull-out beds and coach beds known as sofa beds, participants who are the 3rd person and/or children booking are deemed to have accepted potential crowding in the rooms and the type of bed.

*Child discounts apply to children staying with 2 adults and falling within the age group specified in the pricing section.

*Breakfasts included in the services within the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country being visited.

*In case of likely disruptions, our agency reserves the right to change the names of the hotels, provided that the category of the hotels remains the same, due to technical issues reported to us by the hotel management.

Thermal suits, boots, gloves, and wool socks to be used within the program will be made available for the guests' use throughout the tour. *All vehicles provided by local vehicle service providers for transport and transfer services are inspected in accordance with European Union rules and conditions. Vehicles that pass inspection provide service regardless of their model and age, provided they are comfortable and flawless.

*Including the tours specified in the program, in cases where local authorities do not allow visiting or entering on the day and time corresponding to the tour, or due to closed roads for any event, or due to weather conditions making it impossible to conduct the tour, our agency is not responsible for the inability to conduct the aforementioned tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot, depending on the circumstances, at points where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted.

*Seat numbers are assigned and fixed according to the reservation order during your trip. Even if the assigned seat numbers are the same in numbering, direction, location, or position may differ. Placement is made according to the vehicle conditions of the current country.

Tour Program
Izmir – Rovaniemi – Glass Igloo & Ice Hotel – Santa Claus Village – Tornio
We meet in the morning at the International Terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. After completing our passport and baggage procedures, we depart non-stop to Rovaniemi on a SunExpress flight. Upon arrival in Rovaniemi, located in Finland's Lapland region, we transfer to our private vehicle and head to Santa Claus Village, one of Lapland's most iconic destinations. Situated on the Arctic Circle, the village welcomes visitors from all over the world each year. Here, we have the opportunity to cross the Arctic Circle line and immortalize this special moment with photographs. The village features a unique postal service where you can send postcards to loved ones immediately or for future delivery, along with a variety of colorful souvenir shops. We allow free time for lunch and shopping during this enjoyable visit that lets you fully experience Lapland's magical atmosphere. Following this, we embark on a panoramic city tour of Rovaniemi. Our tour continues with a visit to the Glass Igloo and Ice Hotel, one of the world's largest snow hotels, capable of accommodating approximately 70 guests. Opened annually on December 15th and redesigned with a new theme each season, the Ice Hotel showcases rooms made entirely of ice, wall decorations, carved details, and artworks enhanced by special lighting. In this extraordinary atmosphere where ice and snow are transformed into art, we have the chance to take beautiful photographs. After our sightseeing, we travel to the city of Kemi to collect thermal clothing provided for use throughout the tour, designed to protect against average temperatures of -16°C to -23°C. Once we receive our snowsuits, boots, gloves, and wool socks, we continue our journey. We proceed to Tornio, a town located near Kemi, situated on the Torne River and the Swedish border. Founded in 1621 and recognized as Lapland's oldest town, Tornio is also known as the port city of famous icebreakers. Arriving in Tornio amidst snow-covered Lapland landscapes, we check into our accommodation—either the 4* Park Hotel Tornio or the 4* Grand Mustaparta Hotel—and rest to recover from the day's activities. Accommodation: 4* Park Hotel Tornio or 4* Grand Mustaparta Hotel, etc.
Tornio – Reindeer And Husky Sled Safari Tour (With Lunch) – Northern Lights Hunt (Extra)
After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we board our waiting vehicle and head to the Reindeer Farm for one of Lapland's most iconic experiences. Here, we get up close with reindeer—symbols of Lapland and among the first animals ever domesticated in the world—and learn from farm staff and our guide about their lives and significance in the region. Next, we embark on a fairy-tale journey through snow-covered Lapland landscapes aboard reindeer-drawn sleds, capturing unforgettable moments with our cameras. Following this unique experience, we gather around a fire inside a traditional Lapland tent to hear fascinating stories about the Sami people. The Sami are indigenous to Asia, speak an Ural-Altaic language, have origins still under investigation, are believed to be related to the Yakut Turks, traditionally lived as nomads and now lead a semi-nomadic lifestyle, and practice Shamanism. In this warm and authentic setting, we enjoy local winter tea and cookies before witnessing a live Shaman ritual and listening to more tales about Lapland culture. Continuing our tour, we visit the Husky dogs, which have been used for centuries in reindeer herding and sledding and are exceptionally well-adapted to cold climates. Before experiencing the sleds—a vital mode of transport in Lapland—we receive a brief training session on how to handle them. We then enjoy an exhilarating 3-kilometer ride across a snow-covered track, creating memories amidst Lapland’s stunning winter scenery. Afterward, we proceed to our restaurant for lunch, return to our hotel, and have free time. For those interested, we meet again in the hotel lobby at a time set by our guide in the evening for an optional Northern Lights Hunt (additional fee: €50). Under the quiet Lapland night sky and the enchanting atmosphere of snow-covered nature, we observe the heavens and, if fortune favors us, witness this extraordinary natural phenomenon, visible for approximately 200 days between August and April. After spending about three hours marveling at the mesmerizing dance of colors in the sky, we return to our hotel. Accommodation: 4* Park Hotel Tornio or 4* Grand Mustaparta Hotel, etc.
Tornio – Icebreaker Experience (Extra) – Snowmobile Safari And Ice Castle (Extra)
After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we will spend the rest of the day at leisure. Guests who wish may explore the surroundings immersed in Lapland's winter atmosphere, sample local delicacies, or cross into Sweden to visit Haparanda, located within walking distance, for some shopping. For those seeking a different and unforgettable experience, there is an optional excursion: a three-hour journey aboard an Icebreaker Ship on the Baltic Sea for an additional fee of 490 €. As the ship cuts through ice-covered waters, you'll listen to the sound of ice cracking under its powerful hull and enjoy close-up views of the unique Arctic landscape. One of the most captivating moments of this extraordinary voyage is witnessing the broken ice refreezing shortly after being shattered by the vessel. During the trip, dressed in special gear, you'll have the opportunity to swim among the glaciers in the ship's survival suite—a unique environment surrounded by pristine white ice sheets—where you can capture stunning photographs. Upon completion of this unforgettable experience, each participant will receive a "Cruise & Swim" certificate. After finishing the icebreaker cruise, we will proceed to our pre-booked restaurant to enjoy lunch included in the tour price, savoring regional flavors. Following lunch, guests interested in another special experience can join the Snowmobile Safari and Ice Castle Tour. The extra adult fee is 190 € per person, based on two people sharing one snowmobile. Children aged 4–12 pay 145 € per person, which includes entry to the Ice Castle. While navigating the snow-covered terrain with snowmobiles suited to Lapland conditions, you'll embark on approximately one hour of safari adventure through Lapland's dazzling white winter wilderness. After the snowmobile tour, we will head to the Ice Castle, where you can explore this magical setting featuring world-renowned fairy-tale imagery, ice sculptures, and castle walls, capturing beautiful photos along the way. Once the tour concludes, we will return to our hotel to relax. Accommodation: 4* Park Hotel Tornio or 4* Grand Mustaparta Hotel, etc.
Tornio – Rovaniemi – Izmir
After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we will check out of our rooms and complete the final preparations for the unforgettable conclusion of our journey in Lapland. We will board our waiting vehicle and head to return the thermal clothing we received on the first day of the tour. Following the handover of the thermal gear, we bid farewell to the special memories we've gathered in Lapland and transfer to Rovaniemi Airport for our return flight. Upon arrival, we will complete passport and customs procedures before boarding our SunExpress flight to Izmir. After leaving behind the snow-covered landscapes of Lapland, we will land at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. With this journey now concluded—filled with the enchanting nature of the North, delightful activities, and unforgettable moments—we say goodbye to our valued guests and look forward to welcoming you again on another tour.
