Tour Program
Istanbul - Cairo
At the Turkish Airlines counter in the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal, after completing ticketing, baggage, and boarding procedures, we depart on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, we will leave the airport area with our private vehicle arranged for us to begin our panoramic city tour. Highlights of our panoramic Cairo tour include the Old City center, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Sadat's Mausoleum, Baron Palace, Tahrir Square, the city center along the Nile River, and the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. After the tour concludes and following some free time, we will transfer back to our hotel. Guests who wish may optionally join our guide for an Evening Dinner Cruise on the Nile River ($95 USD). After enjoying the magical atmosphere of the Nile River and Cairo during the cruise and dinner, we return to our hotel for overnight accommodation.
Cairo
After breakfast at our hotel, you will have free time. Guests who wish may join the optional lunch-included tour to the Cairo Museum, Giza Pyramids, and Sphinx (95 USD), organized by our guide. Our first stop will be the Cairo Museum, which vividly showcases the entirety of Egyptian history and houses a remarkable collection of fascinating mummies. Next, we will visit the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure—three of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, named after the pharaohs who commissioned them. Constructed thousands of years ago and still shrouded in mystery, these pyramids were designed with precise mathematical principles, including the Pythagorean triangle. Their construction long before Pythagoras demonstrates the advanced knowledge of mathematics and geometry possessed by the ancient Egyptians. After exploring the enigmatic pyramids, we will see the Sphinx, a mythical creature with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, symbolizing the rising sun and rebirth for the pharaoh. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant during the tour. Finally, we will visit the "Living Statue" Sphinx, which holds a temple between its paws, followed by some free time. We will then transfer back to our hotel for an overnight stay.
Cairo
After breakfast at our hotel, you will have free time. Guests who wish may join the optional lunch-included Grand Cairo and Egyptian Museum tour organized by our guide (140 USD). Covering an area of 500,000 square meters (approximately 70 football fields), the museum is the world's largest archaeological complex dedicated to a single civilization. The complex stands out with its magnificent plaster and glass façade, decorated with triangles of varying sizes and colors as a tribute to Ancient Egypt. We will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. Upon completion of the museum visit, you will have free time before being transferred back to our hotel. Guests who wish may also join the optional Felucca boat cruise organized by our guide (30 USD). During the cruise, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, fruit, and snacks will be served. After the boat tour, we return to the hotel for overnight accommodation. Note: In case of unfavorable weather conditions, motorized boats will be used instead.
Cairo - Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and proceed with the optional Memfis & Saqqara Tour with lunch (USD 95 per person), organized by our guide for those guests who wish to join. First, we head towards Saqqara Valley, the burial ground of Memphis, Egypt's oldest capital. After approximately a half-hour journey, we arrive in the city of Memphis, where we will admire statues of pharaohs, ancient temples, and palace ruins. We then visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first and largest stone structure built from blocks in Egyptian history, dating back to the 3rd Dynasty of the Old Kingdom under King Djoser in the 27th century BC. Following the tour, we reconvene at the time set by our guide and depart for the airport to catch our flight back to Istanbul. After completing ticket, passport, and baggage procedures, we board Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our services conclude, and we bid you farewell until our next tour.
