PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT  

This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the start of the tour. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of the trip and not older than 10 years.

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you for the visa application.

In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa to T.C. citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

As our guests under 18 may be asked by the border police to present a document showing the mutual consent of the parents when traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay attention to this issue.

HEALTH 

There is no vaccination requirement upon entry to Spain. We do not think there will be any health-threatening issue with meals taken in the region’s good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and eat fruits such as bananas and pineapples that can be peeled.

OPTIONAL TOURS  & ACTIVITIES       

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the sufficient number is not reached, the trips cannot be carried out or optional tour/activity prices, content, and the vehicle to be used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums, ruins, or venues in the places to be visited and weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION     

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a distance greater than the stated km.

Triple rooms may be provided depending on the availability of the hotels, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds and coach beds, participants making 3rd person and/or child reservations are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible congestion in the rooms and the bed type.

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts taken at the hotel among the services included in the tour program are presented in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.

CURRENCY     

The currency of Spain is the Euro (EUR).

It is useful to have Euro (EUR) with you.

TIME ZONE      

Spain is 2 hours behind Turkey in daylight saving time and 1 hour behind in winter time.

For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 16:30 in Spain.

PHONE USAGE     

Your mobile phone line can be used if it is open for international calls (roaming).

CLOTHING AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS    

If you are going in the summer season, we recommend that you bring T-shirts, short- and long-sleeved shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a light sweater for the evenings.  In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs for possible noise, a camera, a video camera and their chargers and spare memory cards. In winter, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keeps you warm.

FOOD CULTURE            

Spanish cuisine stems from a complex history in which Spain's invasions and conquests changed traditions and introduced new ingredients. Thus, Spain's current and ancient cuisine combines old and new traditions. Gazpacho soup, Fajita, and delicious snack Tapas are among the important flavors of the cuisine.

ELECTRICITY            

Electrical outlets are the same as in Turkey.

SHOPPING          

There are shopping malls in city centers and opportunities to shop at small stalls selling souvenirs.

IMPORTANT NOTES            

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for a destination/passport requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be allowed. The passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country. Bin Rota is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

The agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or the times of the current trip and before the flight may change. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport services fee

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of up to 2-3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically with narration by the guide from inside the vehicle, not including entrance fees to museums and ruins. Bin Rota is not responsible for the inability to carry out the mentioned tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they cannot be conducted on the day and time of the tour due to permission not being granted by local authorities, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible in places with closed roads or where vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Ankara - Madrid
You are required to be at Ankara Esenboğa Airport’s international departures terminal 3 hours before the flight for ticketing and check-in procedures. After meeting at the international departures counter at Esenboğa Airport, we will complete our baggage and ticket procedures and fly to Madrid on Ajet Airlines’ scheduled flight. Upon arrival, we begin our Madrid city tour. Places to be seen include Alcalá Gate, Cibeles Square and Fountain, Paseo del Prado and Apollo Fountain, Retiro Park, Castellana Streets, Arena, Botanical Garden, Neptune Fountain, and City Hall. After our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Madrid – Toledo – Madrid
After breakfast, we depart for a tour of Toledo. Toledo, the former capital of Spain and one of the important cities on the UNESCO World Heritage List, known as the city of El Greco, is one of the rare cities that has managed to remain unchanged from the 16th century to the present day. The city, with its structures bearing traces of Roman, Visigothic, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, paintings by El Greco, and of course its famous cathedral, will welcome us. After our walk through the Jewish Quarter, we return to Madrid. After free time, we spend the night at our hotel.
Madrid - Seville
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Seville. Following our arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour of Seville, during which we will see, among other places, Plaza de España, the Gold Tower, the Convent of the Sisters of Saint Paula, the Maria Luisa Park, famous for its pools and gardens, and Santa Cruz Square. During the city tour, we will also view panoramically the Alcázar Palace, one of the finest examples of Arab architecture, and Seville Cathedral, the third largest cathedral in the world, from the outside. In the evening, guests who wish may participate in the optional Flamenco Show Night, a classic Spanish experience, which we will organize for 55 Euros. At the end of the night, we return to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Seville - Cordoba - Granada
After breakfast at our hotel, we transfer to Cordoba. We leave our hotel for our Cordoba Old City & Cordoba Mosque tour (entrance tickets included). In Cordoba, which was one of the most populous cities in the world in the 10th and 11th centuries, Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities lived together in peace at that time, and the city became one of Europe’s most important cultural centers thanks to the contributions of important philosophers, scientists, and artists. In the tour to be held in Cordoba, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, sites to be seen include the Renaissance-era Palacio de Viana, the Jewish Quarter, and the Cordoba Mosque, one of the most influential structures of Western Islamic art, whose construction began in 785 and was completed in 987. We then transfer to Granada. On our city tour of Granada, Grand Via, the historic La Rambla Square, and the Town Hall Square, Plaza del Carmen, will be among the places to see. After our city tour, we return to our hotel for accommodation.
Granada - Valencia
After breakfast, we depart for the Alhambra Palace tour (entrance tickets included) (Since the tickets are issued in the name of each participant and are limited, it may not be possible to secure harem tickets for late registrations during the high season.) In this tour, we will visit the Alhambra Palace, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its Arabesque architecture, pools, and gardens. Afterwards, we head to Valencia. Upon arrival, we will take our city tour. Among the places to be seen are the world-famous Science and Culture Center, designed by Santiago Calatrava, the most renowned living architect in Spain, the Gothic Cathedral, the Micalet Bell Tower, the Lonja Market where trade was conducted in the 15th century, the Arena, the City Hall Square, and the old market area. After our city tour, transfer to our hotel.
Valencia - Barcelona
We will depart for Barcelona after breakfast. Upon arrival, we will embark on a city tour of Barcelona, where we will explore the capital of Catalonia and the second largest city in Spain. During our tour, the places to be seen include the Christopher Columbus Monument, La Sagrada Familia Church, La Rambla Avenue, Montjuic Hill, Spain and Catalunya Squares, Paseo de Gracia, Gran Via Avenue, the Andalusian Bullring, and the Olympic Port. After our panoramic tour, we will transfer to our hotel and settle into our rooms. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
Barcelona
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then we depart from the hotel to take part in the Girona & Figueres & Dalí Museum tour (entrance tickets included). Our tour begins with the city of Girona, the jewel of Northern Catalonia. The region is historically very rich and stands out as a unique place with traces left by numerous occupations and reigns. Its cobblestone narrow streets, the Lion statue, the Jewish Quarter, Cathedral Square, historic walls, churches, and museums are among the places to be seen. We then continue to Figueres. In the town where Salvador Dalí was born in 1904, there is also the Dalí Museum, where we can see his works. The artist, who designed every detail of the museum himself, also brings together more than 4,000 works created using various techniques for us to see in the museum. After the tour, we transfer back to the hotel. Accommodation is at our hotel.
Barcelona-Ankara
After breakfast, vacate the rooms and transfer to Barcelona airport. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, depart for Ankara on Ajet Airlines. Arrival in Ankara and the end of our tour.
