French cuisine, whose roots go back to the Middle Ages, has a rich culture. Famous for its wines and its many kinds of cheese, French cuisine is known worldwide and is recognized for meat dishes cooked with different sauces and delicacies such as the famous desserts crème brûlée, macaron, and soufflé.

Belgian cuisine combines the traditions of German and French cuisines.

Dutch cuisine is not a very rich cuisine, but its cheeses are worth trying. Other flavors are generally fast-food style.
